Ande Parks has worked as a comic book artist and writer for more than three decades, on such titles as Superman, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, The Lone Ranger, and Ant-Man. He is best known as an artist for his long stint on Green Arrow, with frequent collaborator Phil Hester and writers Kevin Smith, Brad Meltzer and Judd Winick. Parks' bold style garnered him nominations in both the Harvey and Eagle awards.As a writer, Parks won acclaim for two historical fiction graphic novels, ‘Union Station’ and ‘Capote in Kansas’, which was named a Notable Book by the state of Kansas. Parks developed Ciudad with the Russo brothers and wrote the graphic novel’s script. The book was adapted as a worldwide hit film franchise for Netflix, titled Extraction and starring Chris Hemsworth.
