From Paragon Collectibles. Prominently featured in the opening credits of Day of the Dead, our 'The Dead Walk' newspapers were recreated using scans sourced from surviving copies of the original props. The sharp-eyed reader will notice, while the headlines were specifically created for the scene, the actual text of the newspaper is sourced from medical journals of the time! Identical to the original, many paragraphs are cut off, shortened and sometimes misaligned. As with most props of the time, no thought was given to collectors being able to actually examine these props up-close, much less wanting to add them to our collections! The back of the paper is also purposely left blank. We have kept these hallmarks in our copy to present the most authentic replica of this iconic prop to date! This full-sized replica is suitable for framing and would look amazing autographed by a few of our favorite zombies. Unfolded newspaper measures 23.5' tall by 27.5' wide.
