Fumetto. Riunite per la prima volta in un unico, lussuosissimo volume di grande formato le tre versioni de “Il Re del Terrore”, ossia il n. 1 di Diabolik! Oggi il numero 1 originale di Diabolik è praticamente introvabile e vale decine di migliaia di euro. Quello che non tutti sanno è che la prima volta che uscì Diabolik in edicola era disegnato “malissimo” e tuttora non si sa chi ne sia stato il disegnatore. Questa è la versione numero uno. Visto il grande successo che ebbe fin da subito la testata delle sorelle Giussani, si resero necessarie ben presto ristampe su ristampe con cui invadere le edicole. Allora si decise di far ridisegnare il numero uno in modo migliore ed è questa la versione che andò in edicola e si diffuse maggiormente: è la versione numero due. Poi con il passare dei decenni i gusti del pubblico sono cambiati e Diabolik ha praticamente attraversato un era facendo da ponte a più generazioni. E’ così che recentemente la casa editrice Astorina decise di fare un remake con un disegnatore, il grande Giuseppe Palumbo, che rispondesse di più ai gusti del pubblico di oggi. Questa è la versione numero tre. La storia dei “numero 1” è anche la storia di una nazione e di una casa editrice che ha creato un brand intramontabile e ha cavalcato i decenni. La Nicola Pesce Editore è orgogliosa di presentare per la prima volta in un unico volume le tre versioni, che così l’appassionato potrà ammirare e confrontare.
