A hero in his homeland of Brazil and Japan where he competed in some of his most famous races, Senna's career included 41 victories, 65 pole positions, and three world championships. His legacy of philanthropy rivals that of his racing: only after his death behind the wheel during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix was it discovered that he had donated millions of dollars from his personal fortune to children's charities. Appearing as he did before the 1993 Japan Grand Prix, Ayrton Senna charms the crowd as only he knew how, waving his hand and his racing helmet above his head. The legendary driver wears his red Nacional driving uniform, intricately detailed with every seam, crease, and sponsor patch. Sculpted by Hideaki Hirata, Senna's face features an amazingly realistic sculpt, and the Fine Art Statue has been officially approved by the Ayrton Senna Institute. Another member of the Japanese 'Shining' series of games, Shining Force Feather is a turn-based tactical role-playing game from Flight-Plan and Sega available exclusively on the Nintendo DS. The game features character designs by Japan's renowned illustrator Ito-Noizi (best known for his work on Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan No Shana). The first Shining Force Feather character brought to life is ALFIN UMBRIO, a curious young artificial life form. No one knows exactly why, but Alfin Umbrio is remarkably lively and curious for an artificial intelligence. Her inquisitive nature is captured perfectly in this new Ani*Statue.
