Writer Jason Aaron saw his early collaboration with artist Cameron Stewart on DC/Vertigo’s The Other Side named one of the Washington Post’s Best Comics of 2007. His next project, Scalped, garnered industry-wide praise and led to a guest spot on Wolverine, beginning Aaron’s long association with Logan on various titles, as well as the rest of Marvel’s merry mutants on books including X-Men: Schism, Wolverine & the X-Men and Amazing X-Men. Len Kaminski racked up extensive credits as a writer and assistant editor at the House of Ideas, including contributions as scribe to Iron Man and Marvel Comics Presents. Editorially, he left his mark on Avengers and a number of related titles, among others.Tom Morgan started his comics career at Marvel in the mid-1980s. He contributed inks, pencils and cover art to a variety of series, including several Spider-Man and New Universe titles. Morgan next illustrated short runs on Captain America, Power Pack and Alpha Flight, along with the miniseries The War and two Excalibur special editions. During the early 1990s, Morgan landed his first long-term assignment as penciler of Punisher 2099. Writer J. Michael Straczynski made pop-culture history with the epic TV series Babylon 5. Jim Starlin introduced not only Thanos but also Shang-Chi and many other memorable characters. After seemingly killing both Adam Warlock and Thanos in one of Marvel’s earlier multi-title cosmic arcs — for which he won two Eagle Awards — Starlin wrote Marvel’s first graphic novel, The Death of Captain Marvel. Returning to Marvel to write Silver Surfer, he resurrected Adam Warlock and Thanos, both of whom figured prominently in a veritable franchise of miniseries he wrote and/or penciled: Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, Infinity Crusade, Infinity Abyss and more, plus the Warlock and the Infinity Watch and Thanos monthlies. After beginning his writing career on DC horror titles, David Michelinie moved to Marvel. Jeremy Whitley is a writer from Durham, North Carolina. He broke into comics in 2010 with the Eisner-Nominated smash hit comic “Princeless”. Donny Cates gained industry attention with works including God Country, Buzzkill and Star Trek. Cates quickly established himself at Marvel with a short stint on Captain America and eye-catching runs on Doctor Strange and Thanos, following up the latter with a self-titled limited series for breakout character Cosmic Ghost Rider. Cates masterminded dramatic shake-ups for iconic Marvel characters in Death of the Inhumans and Venom, and returned to the cosmos with Guardians of the Galaxy. He then commenced his next legendary epic in the pages of Thor and offered a suitably incredible new take on Hulk.The pencils of Ryan Stegman first gained rave reviews in the Marvel adaptation of Raymond E. Feist’s Magician Apprentice and Riftwar. The popularity of his work there led to assignments on Incredible Hulk, Marvel Adventures Spider-Man, Incredible Hercules and She-Hulks.
