Writer/artist Larry Hama got his start as a penciler before becoming a respected editor and later a writer during the ’80s with his career-defining work on G.I. Joe and a memorable run on Wolverine. Through the years, Hama proved his versatility writing Avengers, Blaze, Elektra, Generation X, The Punisher: War Zone and multiple Venom miniseries. When Devil’s Due, IDW and Image Comics in turn obtained the G.I. Joe license, Hama revisited his iconic Marvel run, continuing where he had left off years earlier and bringing the series to — and past — a record-breaking three hundred issues. At Continuity Comics, he created Bucky O’Hare, launching a franchise that extended to animation, video games and a toy line. Hama recently revisited his era helming the adventures of Logan with the Wolverine: Patch limited series.After beginning his writing career on DC horror titles, David Michelinie moved to Marvel. He and co-writer/inker Bob Layton established Iron Man’s battle with alcoholism, use of specialized armor variants and vendetta against Doctor Doom, as well as other aspects of the character that endure to this day. Michelinie’s unique blend of action, suspense and humor distinguished not only Iron Man, but also Amazing Spider-Man. Brian Herbert is the son of legendary science fiction author Frank Herbert and has written the definitive biography of him, Dreamer of Dune, a finalist for the Hugo Award. Alessandro Ferrari began writing comics for Disney after he attended a script-writing course at the Accademia Disney in Milan in 2005. He's written adventures for Mickey Mouse, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Witch, and High School Musical. He also adapted numerous films to the graphic novel format, including Wall E, Up, Alice in Wonderland, Frozen, Zootopia, and Finding Dory. Finally, he's written the most recent comic adaptations of the first seven Star Wars films.Ingo Römling was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1969. Even before starting school, he learned to read on his father's lap with the comic book Asterix. When he first saw the magazine Heavy Metal as a teenager, he began to dream of one day being a comic book artist. But it would take a few years before that. He first worked as an illustrator, graphic designer and art director for various advertising agencies and record companies. Around 2008, he rethought his goals and joined a German team of zombie apocalypse illustrators and authors called "Die Toten" (The Dead). In 2013, in collaboration with author Peter Mennigen, he published the first volume of the successful series Malcolm Max, about a friendly ghost hunter in Victorian London. In 2014, Römling joined up with the Star Wars saga as an official Disney illustrator. He participated in the comic book adaptation of the TV series Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars Resistance on behalf of Panini. He also illustrated the comic version of the Han Solo adventure Smuggler's Run by Greg Rucka. In 2018, he met Richard Marazano and, the following year, began illustrating the series Chronicles of the Universe (Dargaud ; Europe Comics in English).

For DC Comics, he drew big-name characters such as Superman, Batman and the Suicide Squad before making a welcome return home to Marvel and Amazing Spider-Man.Multiple Eisner Award-winner Frank Miller broke into the comics business during the late 1970s, landing a choice assignment on the series Daredevil. His work quickly made the title one of Marvel’s best-selling series, as well as establishing Miller as a fan-favorite superstar. During his tenure on Daredevil, he introduced the assassin Elektra, who became a major Marvel character in her own right. After completing his initial run, Miller returned to Daredevil as writer of the acclaimed “Born Again” run with artist David Mazzucchelli; he then collaborated with John Romita Jr. for the Daredevil: Man Without Fear limited series. Miller has also had monumental success with his work on other iconic characters. In 1986, he made a splash at DC with the wildly popular and hugely influential Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, which told the tale of an older Batman still fighting crime decades after his prime. The following year, Miller reteamed with David Mazzucchelli for Batman: Year One, putting a modern spin on Batman’s classic origin story. Miller writes All Star Batman & Robin with artist Jim Lee, continuing to put his distinctive mark on the Dark Knight. Miller has parlayed his talents as a comic-book creator to major success in Hollywood. In 2005, Miller collaborated with Robert Rodriquez to co-direct Sin City, a film that was widely praised by both fans and critics. Two years later, Miller’s 300 met with similar success, breaking multiple box-office records. Miller wrote and directed The Spirit, based on Will Eisner’s classic hero.
