esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
This first new NOW of 2026 features work from several contributors familiar to NOW readers as well as others appearing in the magazine for the first time. Under an original cover by gifted Portland cartoonist Soph Franz, Kayla E. (USA) returns to NOW with an all-new memoir comic, hot on the heels of Precious Rubbish, her acclaimed 2025 graphic novel debut. NOW familiars Roman Muradov (Armenia), Josh Simmons (USA), Steven Weissman (USA), Maggie Umber (USA) and Stacy Gougoulis (Australia) are back, while Los Angeles artist Scott Marvel Cassidy contributes his first new comics since 2024's acclaimed graphic memoir Hogbook and Lazer Eyes. In "Dear Phony," Cassidy processes/confronts his own OCD in a surrealist/absurdist work worthy of and owing a debt to the works of Alfred Jarry as well as Vivian Stanshall's Sir Henry at Rawlinson's End. Meanwhile, Swedish cartoonist Iris Hautaniemi makes her NOW debut, while small press legend Zak Sally contributes a heartfelt meditation on youth and aging. All this, plus many other surprises. NOW: The New Comics Anthology is, every issue, a self-contained cross-section of the best short comics stories the globe has to offer. The series has established itself as the preeminent anthology of first-rate international comics talent. With all-new, never before-seen material from a mix of emerging and established talent, NOW is the perfect answer to the question, "Why Comics?" (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

In 1958, established Argentine comics creators Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Alberto Breccia worked together on their first significant series. In Sherlock Time, retiree Julio Luna buys a beautiful home for much too good a deal. There have been strange disappearances, but the trap is far stranger than a simple haunting in San Isidro. Fortunately for Luna, a mysterious man saves him in the nick of … Sherlock Time! The two team up, outwitting aliens, solving seemingly-supernatural crimes, and investigating cursed objects. These episodic adventures, ranging from SF to horror to mystery, ran concurrently with Oesterheld's legendary comics serial The Eternaut, and set the stage for their masterpiece, Mort Cinder. Of Sherlock Time, Argentine author Juan Sasturain (who also wrote Perramus, which Breccia would go on to draw) concluded: "rarely has a story made us so fully happy." Gou Tanabe’s very latest Lovecraft manga adaptation, the first volume in an ongoing series! No one can explain his escape from the insane asylum—but whatever the blue-gray dust was in his cell, it was certainly no longer Charles Dexter Ward…It was the 1920s—the Jazz Age, the age of modern wonders. But young Charles Dexter Ward was a dreamer, in love with the antiquities of his native Providence, Rhode Island. Charles was known for the long walks he took around the streets and alleyways of the old colonial city, searching out the traces that still lingered from centuries ago. It would have all seemed a harmless interest in the past…were it not for the fact Charles gradually developed a fixation on his notorious ancestor, Joseph Curwen.A wealthy merchant before the American Revolution, Curwen, known to have an interest in alchemy and rumored to practice the darker arts of the occult, never appeared to grow any older even as his money increased. But at last Curwen did die–violently—and the records of his life seemed to have been deliberately destroyed. Charles Dexter Ward hunted feverishly through the scraps of information that remained, for his new obsession was to find Curwen’s unmarked grave.Young Charles hasn’t seemed himself ever since—travelling to strange lands and keeping stranger company. Performing bizarre experiments and chants inside his room, Charles claims to have rediscovered secret knowledge his ancestor possessed that could revolutionize the world. When his erratic and dangerous behavior at last gets him committed to an insane asylum, Charles seemingly escapes…and only his family physician, Dr. Willett, suspecting a hideous truth, now has the courage to pursue the strange case of Charles Dexter Ward!Includes tip-in title page in metallic ink!

Gou Tanabe was born in 1975 in Tokyo. As a child, he became a fan of yokai (supernatural creatures from Japanese tradition) when his father bought him Shigeru Mizuki’s classic manga GeGeGe no Kitaro, and by junior high he was already designing his own demons in sketchbooks. An encounter with the work of creature modeler Yasushi Nirasawa in Hobby Japan magazine started Tanabe’s interest in horror movies and the special effects behind them as well.Tanabe began his professional manga career with a short stint working as an assistant, but made his solo debut in 2003 with Sunakichi, published in Comic Beam magazine; the story won the magazine’s New Faces Award, and Tanabe would soon become associated with Comic Beam, which began to regularly feature his Lovecraft manga staring in 2007 with an adaptation of the short story “The Outsider.â€In addition to receiving nominations for three Eisner Awards, two Harvey Awards, and one American Manga Award to date, Gou Tanabe has received critical acclaim in France, winning the prestigious Best Series award in 2020 at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. In 2025, Tanabe’s adaptation H.P. Lovecraft’s The Call of Cthulhu won the Bram Stoker Award given by the Horror Writers Association in the Best Graphic Novel category, an award first given to Alan Moore for his own Lovecraft adaptation, Neonomicon.

Ron Marz broke into comics in the early '90s with a lengthy run on Marvel’s Silver Surfer, followed by a stint on DC’s Green Lantern, where he co-created Kyle Rayner. In 2000, Marz joined the creative team at CrossGen, working on Sojourn, Mystic, The Path and Scion, among others. He also had an acclaimed run on Top Cow’s Witchblade which lasted nearly a decade. He has recently returned to Marvel, writing Silver Surfer: Rebirth. The comic-art career of Scot Eaton stretches back to the early ’90s, with work on Doctor Fate and Scarab for DC Comics, as well as a brief tenure drawing Jim Starlin’s Dreadstar for First Comics. After a run illustrating Sigil for CrossGen, he worked steadily at Marvel. His credits include Rogue, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Black Panther, most notably the wedding of Storm and T’Challa. He has been a stalwart of the X-Universe, drawing New Excalibur, several chapters of the “Endangered Species†saga, X-Factor, X-Men: Legacy and Wolverine: Origins. Other Marvel credits include Doomwar, Iron Man/Thor and Secret Avengers.Tom Morgan started his comics career at Marvel in the mid-1980s. He contributed inks, pencils and cover art to a variety of series, including several Spider-Man and New Universe titles. Morgan next illustrated short runs on Captain America, Power Pack and Alpha Flight, along with the miniseries The War and two Excalibur special editions. During the early 1990s, Morgan landed his first long-term assignment as penciler of Punisher 2099. He went on to illustrate several Iron Man issues, an Extreme Justice arc for DC Comics and Topps Comics’ licensed miniseries Xena: Warrior Princess vs. Callisto. In 2008, Morgan illustrated IDW’s comic biography Presidential Material: Barack Obama.John Buscema (1927-2002) literally wrote the book on being a Marvel artist — namely, How To Draw Comics the Marvel Way — and few were better qualified. His career dated back to the Timely/Atlas era of the late ’40s and early ’50s. Soon after beginning the Marvel Age of Comics, Stan Lee recruited Buscema from the advertising field to the Marvel Bullpen. Buscema followed a long run on Avengers with the long-anticipated first Silver Surfer series. He subsequently succeeded Jack Kirby on Fantastic Four, Thor and other titles. By the time of his retirement in 1996, Buscema had penciled nearly every Marvel title — including his personal favorite, Conan the Barbarian.

***The Lunar Exclusive Signed and Numbered Edition includes: A high quality exclusive print of the sketch for the regular edition cover Acetate Sleeve Signed and Numbered by Alex Ross! Alex Ross, the award-winning and bestselling creator of Marvels, Kingdom Come, and Fantastic Four: Full Circle, takes readers through the Marvel Universe—but all is not as it seems Marvel Dimensions is legendary artist Alex Ross’ second book in the Marvel Arts series, following the national bestselling, critically acclaimed, and award-winning Fantastic Four: Full Circle. The story opens with a sweeping tour through the classic origins of Marvel’s most iconic characters. Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine, and many others appear in dramatic, fully painted spreads that echo their earliest stories. A narrator describes each moment with confidence, guiding the reader through these touchstones of Marvel’s history. But as the story moves forward, the tone begins to shift. The voice behind the narration is not who the readers expect and carries a motive that slowly pushes the narrative somewhere darker and far more unpredictable. Once this change becomes clear, the book expands into something larger and more surprising. Storylines twist in on themselves, characters behave in unexpected ways, and events ripple across the Marvel Universe with growing tensions. Ross uses the structure of the book to create anticipation and pull the reader deeper into a mystery that keeps widening. Every new sequence reveals another layer, building toward a final act that reframes everything that came before it. A bonus 32-page comic book is included that is pivotal to the storyline. With Marvel Dimensions, Ross approaches the Marvel Universe from a new angle with new character invention that invites readers to question what they think and what they know. Marvel Dimensions may be the latest title in the Marvel Arts line . . . but it is only the beginning. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

The Blood is back! Creator Rob Liefeld returns to write and draw the comic that started it all. The Team is summoned to a crisis in the Pacific as a mysterious vessel appears and a deadly nemesis is revealed!
Early praise for Youngblood (2025):
"Comics as a whole are better off when there's a Rob Liefeld Youngblood comic on the stands. Rob always brings the fast-paced high octane action spectacle you're looking for but I love that there's always some kind of new idea or innovation present in everything he does. If this series isn't on your pull list, you must like dull comics so I can't help you. Why are you reading this?" —Robert Kirkman, Invincible, The Walking Dead
“Rob’s Youngblood is back where it belongs in every conceivable way, including the top of my reading pile. BADROCK FOR LIFE.” —Geoff Johns, Geiger, Doomsday Clock
“Wall-to-wall Youngblood action!! This isn’t nostalgia, it’s not a remake or a '90s throwback—this is one of comics’ all-time most explosive talents, showing the rest of us what pure adrenaline looks like on the page. In case you forgot.” —Tony Fleecs, Local Man, Stray Dogs, Feral

The Blood is back! Creator Rob Liefeld returns to write and draw the comic that started it all. The Team is summoned to a crisis in the Pacific as a mysterious vessel appears and a deadly nemesis is revealed!Early praise for Youngblood (2025): "Comics as a whole are better off when there's a Rob LiefeldYoungbloodcomic on the stands. Rob always brings the fast-paced high octane action spectacle you're looking for but I love that there's always some kind of new idea or innovation present in everything he does. If this series isn't on your pull list, you must like dull comics so I can't help you. Why are you reading this?" —Robert Kirkman,Invincible, The Walking Dead “Rob’sYoungbloodis back where it belongs in every conceivable way, including the top of my reading pile. BADROCK FOR LIFE.” —Geoff Johns,Geiger, Doomsday Clock “Wall-to-wall Youngblood action!! This isn’t nostalgia, it’s not a remake or a '90s throwback—this is one of comics’ all-time most explosive talents, showing the rest of us what pure adrenaline looks like on the page. In case you forgot.” —Tony Fleecs, Local Man, Stray Dogs, Feral (immagine) Categoria: Comics
