esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Mahoro's high school manga club had two members: her and a classmate who passed away months after they met. Now, she's an award-winning pro, but what no one else knows is that she stole the ideas for her hit manga from the notebook her dead classmate left behind. When fate gives her an opportunity to redeem herself, she'll do whatever it takes to return Yukishima's story--and save him from dying.Mahoro and Arashi team up to uncover the secret behind the time loop they are stuck in, hoping to save the lives of the people they care about. Through their investigation, they find others who also remember the previous timelines, including Yukishima’s sister Sayaka and a comedy manga artist who goes by the pen name Gorilla. Armed with new information, things seem to be looking up. Even when they are sent back in time once again, they pick up right where they left off and try to team up with Sayaka…except in this timeline, she doesn’t seem to even exist...

Stan Lee is a man who needs no introduction. Nevertheless: Having begun his career with wartime Timely Comics and staying the course throughout the Atlas era, Stan the Man made comic-book history with Fantastic Four #1, harbinger of a bold new perspective in story writing that endures to this day. With some of the industry’s greatest artists, he introduced hero after hero in Incredible Hulk, Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men and more — forming a shared universe for rival publishers to measure themselves against. After an almost literal lifetime of writing and editing, Lee entered new entertainment fields and earned Marvel one opportunity after another. He remains one of Marvel’s best-known public representatives.Jack "King" Kirby's comics career began in 1937 and continued for nearly six decades. With partner Joe Simon, Kirby first made his mark in comics in the 1940s by drawing and/or creating numerous features for DC Comics including SANDMAN, THE NEWSBOY LEGION and MANHUNTER, and for Marvel including CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE YOUNG ALLIES and the KID COMMANDOS. As the most valued team in comics, Simon and Kirby went on to create titles and concepts including FIGHTING AMERICAN, BOYS' RANCH and the creation of the romance comics genre. In 1961, the first issue of Marvel's FANTASTIC FOUR cemented Kirby's reputation as comics' preeminent creator, and a slew of famous titles followed that elevated him to legendary status, including INCREDIBLE HULK, AVENGERS and X-MEN. Kirby returned to DC in 1971 with his classic FOURTH WORLD TRILOGY, which was followed by THE DEMON and KAMANDI. Kirby continued working and innovating in comics until his death in 1994.Industry legend Chris Claremont is best known for his epic sixteen-year run on Uncanny X-Men. Claremont’s focus on the themes of prejudice and tolerance struck at the hearts of comics fans, and he built an unparalleled following during the next three decades. Under his pen, the X-Men franchise spawned a vast array of spin-offs, many of them written by Claremont himself. His other credits include Iron Fist, Ms. Marvel, Power Man and Spider-Woman. Claremont has returned to the X-Men universe in New Exiles, GeNext, X-Men Forever, Chaos War: X-Men and Nightcrawler.John Byrne has worked continuously in the comics industry as both writer and artist since 1975. After he initially collaborated with writer Chris Claremont on Iron Fist, Byrne and Claremont moved on to X-Men for a run still regarded as one of the title’s finest. Byrne contributed an equally famed stint on Fantastic Four, earning comparisons to the original Lee/Kirby issues for his imaginative plotlines and dynamic artwork. He also spun Alpha Flight into its own title. In 1986, he revamped DC’s flagship hero, Superman, reimagining the Man of Steel in a historic project heralded by a Time magazine cover. His remarkable contribution to the Marvel Universe extends to memorable associations with virtually every major hero, including celebrated runs on Captain America, Iron Man, Sensational She-Hulk, Namor the Sub-Mariner and Thing. In the 21st century, Byrne’s considerable body of work includes IDW’s Star Trek and Angel.Dave Cockrum was an American comics artist known for his co-creation of the new X-Men characters Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus, and Mystique, as well as the antiheroine Black Cat. Cockrum was a prolific and inventive costume designer who updated the uniforms of the Legion of Super-Heroes and the X-Men. He rejuvenated iconic superheroes with striking costumes, featuring wide shoulder lapels, big belts, and buccaneer boots. His designs persisted well in the 1980s and the influence of his aesthetics can still be felt today.Comic book illustrator Jim Lee is the editorial director of WildStorm Studios (which he founded in 1992) and the artist for many of DC Comics’ bestselling comic book and graphic novels, including All Star Batman and Robin, Batman: Hush, and Superman: For Tomorrow. He also serves as the creative director for the upcoming DC Universe Online videogame. Prior to DC, he was one of the founding fathers of Image Comics and best known for his run on the X-Men for Marvel Comics during which he co-created such characters as Gambit and Agent Zero. In his spare time, Jim enjoys a good laugh or two.John Lind is a designer, editor, and co-founder of the Dark Horse Comics imprint Kitchen Sink Books (with Denis Kitchen). In 1977, a deeply personal project called ELFQUEST was born. As the first continuing fantasy/adventure graphic novel series in America to be co-created, written and illustrated by a woman, ELFQUEST became a phenomenon in the comics industry. Appealing to comics and sci-fi/fantasy fans alike, it attracted a unique and unprecedented audience, an equal mix of male and female readers. Over three million copies of the collected graphic novel volumes have been sold to date.Richard Pini was born in 1950, in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), receiving a degree in astronomy and astrophysics. Always fan of science fiction, at college he found new diversion in comic books, and it was in the letters pages of “The Silver Surfer†in 1969 that he chanced upon a letter written by one Wendy Fletcher. A correspondence began, spanning a period of four years. The two eventually married in 1972, and Wendy embarked upon a career as an illustrator for sci-fi magazines. Richard’s degree in astronomy from MIT led Richard to a position at Boston’s Hayden Planetarium as lecturer, photographer, script writer, and special effects technician. In 2019, both Wendy and Richard were inducted into the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame for their lifetime achievements.

While at art school, she tried her hand at filmmaking, but realized she was better suited to working alone and decided to pursue manga as a career. After graduating, she set out on a trip around the world, promising herself that she would get a real job if she didn’t make it as a manga artist by the time she was twenty-five. She narrowly met that personal deadline when she made her debut in 2015 with Good Night, I Love You, a tale of a man who travels to London to fulfill his mother’s dying wish. She followed this up with a manga adaptation of the Netflix series Sex Education before tackling fantasy in Witch of Thistle Castle. She came to feel that she was more interested in drawing shojo manga, however, and when an editor at the shojo magazine Mystery Bonita reached out to her about working together, the result was the critically acclaimed The Credits Roll into the Sea. She also draws BL manga under the name John Taratsumi. Jocelyne Allen is a Japanese translator and interpreter who splits her time between Toronto and Tokyo. She has translated hundreds of short stories, novels, and manga, including the Eisner Award-winning titles Lovesickness by Junji Ito and Onward Toward Our Noble Deaths by Shigeru Mizuki, and the Harvey Award-winning My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness by Nagata Kabi, as well as the critically acclaimed Our Dreams at Dusk by Yuhki Kamatani, and the classic shojo manga The Rose of Versailles by Riyoko Ikeda. As an interpreter, she has worked with Japan’s most celebrated authors and artists, including Sayaka Murata, Inio Asano, Mieko Kawakami, and Natsume Ono. She can be found online at kaikatsu.ca, blogging about books at brainvsbook.com, or noodling about translation and manga on Blue Sky (@brainvsbook). The Credits Roll Into the Sea is the acclaimed translator’s first work for Dark Horse!

As both writer and artist, Archie Goodwin (d. 1998) got his start in comic strips and cartoons before moving to Warren Publishing’s Vampirella — and from there to Marvel, where he eventually succeeded Gerry Conway as editor in chief. He has been credited with saving Marvel from financial ruin, with Roy Thomas, by securing adaptation rights to the legendary Star Wars franchise, perceiving its potential long before later merchandisers. He also wrote comic-book adaptations of Alien, Blade Runner and other hit films. He created both Marvel’s Graphic Novel line and its Epic Comics imprint — where, as editor, he occasionally appeared in caricature as alien, elf or other. He also edited early English translations of the Akira series and the works of Moebius. At DC Comics, he guided the destinies of Batman and Starman; one of his most memorable bodies of work was his collaboration with Walter Simonson on the “Manhunter†backup feature in Detective Comics, which won five Shazam Awards.Following Golden Age work at Marvel predecessor Timely Comics — as well as at Fawcett, Hillman and others — Carmine Infantino (d. 2013) made history at DC Comics, helping usher in the industry’s Silver Age with the reintroduction of the Flash, within whose title he cocreated the Elongated Man and several members of the hero’s famed Rogues’ Gallery. His 1961 story “Flash of Two Worlds,†which literally reshaped the DC Universe by introducing the Earth-1/Earth-2 concept, won Infantino two of his eventual 12 Alley Awards. After serving as DC’s art director and publisher, Infantino returned to penciling on several titles; for Marvel, he provided notable runs on Nova, Spider-Woman and Star Wars, along with brief stints on Daredevil, Ghost Rider and Iron Man. He also drew Superman vs. the Amazing Spider-Man, the historic first Marvel/DC crossover.
