esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

For fans of Disney princesses and Sailor Moon–style girl power, Cursed Princess Club is a lighthearted story of a young royal named Gwendolyn who finds her place in a world obsessed with princes, beauty, and happily-ever-afters.Just because you’re cursed doesn’t mean you’re not special.Meet Gwendolyn, the youngest of the king’s three daughters. Despite her big heart and love for baking, Gwen is living proof that princesses don’t always have it all—unlike the typical fairytale princess, or other princesses in the Pastel Kingdom, Gwen isn’t particularly attractive. While her sisters have woodland creatures do their hair and makeup, and flowers blossom wherever they sleep, the youngest princess is just a bit . . . different. When her father proposes marriage for Gwen and her sisters in hopes of building an alliance with the Plaid Kingdom, hearts shatter when Gwen overhears Prince Frederick call her “ugly.†Ashamed and overwhelmed, she runs away into the forest, where she discovers the twisted and enchanted world of the Cursed Princess Club—and her life will never be the same. Struggling with her worsening mirror reflection, Gwen’s internal battle of self-doubt and insecurity only seems to grow. And with her growing feelings for Frederick, Gwen navigates her own vulnerability in ways she’s never quite experienced.Meanwhile, after eating a cookie at an Argyle Kingdom festival that causes Jamie to taste the emotions of festival attendees, the prince learns a shocking secret: someone wants to crush the Pastel Princesses. Worried that sharing the news would embolden the king to forbid his sisters from ever leaving the castle, Jamie puts on his detective hat and tries to find the culprit himself.Later, the announcement of the quinquennial Bippity Bop Gala’s return has everyone excited—except for Prez, whose former kingdom is honored with hosting the decadent event. Hoping to win the cursed-curing crystal raffle and lift their curses, Gwen and the Cursed Princess Club plan on attending the event as uninvited guests. As they plan for the formal evening, the dress code helps the Cursed Princess Club hide in plain sight—dressed up like cursesThis volume collects episodes 107 to 120 of the hit WEBTOON series with over 285 million views.

A shield maiden fights to break the shackles of prophecy—and to overcome the betrayal of the man who broke her heart—in this searing conclusion to the Norse-inspired fantasy romance duology that began with the bestselling A Fate Inked in Blood. The secret of her divine heritage revealed, Freya finds herself on a path that will see thousands of lives lost to the magic in her blood. Desperate to avoid this dark fate, she risks an alliance with Skaland’s greatest enemy to seek answers from the seer who foretold her future—the same seer who sent Bjorn to kill her. While Freya still seethes with rage over Bjorn’s betrayal, the blood oaths that bind her demand that she keep him close as she hunts for a way to avert the looming war. Her magic draws her to the front lines of an old enmity, embroiling her with Nordeland’s Unfated—children of the gods who serve the king she was raised to fear. The same king who, unlike Bjorn, is now willing to fight at her back. For despite the desire that burns hot between Bjorn and Freya, his growing distrust of her chosen path threatens to drag them further apart. As war approaches, gods and mortals must choose their weapons. Yet the fiercest battle will be the one Freya wages within herself. With the magic of two goddesses burning in her veins, she must weave the threads of destiny to decide her own fate: Will she be the shield that protects her people or the curse that destroys them?
Danielle L. Jensen is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of A Fate Inked in Blood, A Curse Carved in Bone, and the Bridge Kingdom, Dark Shores, and Malediction series. In the shadow of World War I, a thrilling new world rises—a gilded world of miraculous technology, frightening threats, and brave new heroes. Discover this award-winning alternate-history graphic novel trilogy, now collected in a single volume! The early 20th century is a time of great societal upheaval, technological advancement, and intense political struggle. Some of the most brilliant and horrible minds of the age—wealthy industrialists, amazing inventors, and violent anarchists—collide to create a war between the wars. This is the backdrop for the award-winning alternate-history saga known as The Jekyll Island Chronicles. At the turn of the century, one-sixth of the world’s wealth vacationed in and around the tiny Georgia island of Jekyll. Captains of industry like Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan, and Carnegie all called the Jekyll area home. The Jekyll Island Chronicles uses this place of grandeur and elegance as a pivotal location in the struggle to preserve the peace fostered by the end of the Great War.But an international cabal of anarchists, known internationally as Zeno and led by the infamous Luigi Galleani, seeks to disrupt the new order. Working across the globe, Zeno uses startlingly advanced technologies to seed unrest, taking lives in an effort to force the world back into another bloody conflict.Supported by the wealth of Jekyll and the most innovative minds of the early 1900s, a newly formed band of heroes—all wounded veterans of the Great War—stand against the forces of chaos. As rivals race to unlock the secret of Nikola Tesla’s death ray, cities burn, electricity crackles, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.Blending bizarre and often forgotten historical fact with heavy doses of alternate history and adventure, The Jekyll Island Chronicles is a captivating graphic novel trilogy for young and old. As classic comic book action comes to life with retro high-tech imagination and the aesthetics of the art deco era, the series vividly captures the period following World War I, injecting real villains, historic characters, original heroes, and exotic locales into an unforgettable narrative. This massive volume collects the entire epic struggle, taking the reader all across the globe and presenting a cavalcade of historic characters, real villains, and original heroes who fight to preserve the peace—from eye-popping beginning to jaw-dropping end.Collecting The Jekyll Island Chronicles, Book 1: A Machine Age War, Book 2: A Devil’s Reach, and Book 3: A Last Call.

Jim Starlin introduced not only Thanos but also Shang-Chi and many other memorable characters. After seemingly killing both Adam Warlock and Thanos in one of Marvel’s earlier multi-title cosmic arcs — for which he won two Eagle Awards — Starlin wrote Marvel’s first graphic novel, The Death of Captain Marvel. Returning to Marvel to write Silver Surfer, he resurrected Adam Warlock and Thanos, both of whom figured prominently in a veritable franchise of miniseries he wrote and/or penciled: Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, Infinity Crusade, Infinity Abyss and more, plus the Warlock and the Infinity Watch and Thanos monthlies. Starlin continued to chart the saga of the Mad Titan in a recent series of original graphic novels.Ron Marz broke into comics in the early '90s with a lengthy run on Marvel’s Silver Surfer, followed by a stint on DC’s Green Lantern, where he co-created Kyle Rayner. In 2000, Marz joined the creative team at CrossGen, working on Sojourn, Mystic, The Path and Scion, among others. He also had an acclaimed run on Top Cow’s Witchblade which lasted nearly a decade. He has recently returned to Marvel, writing Silver Surfer: Rebirth. After establishing himself on Eternity’s Ex-Mutants and First’s Badger, Ron Lim went cosmic with a six-year penciling run on Silver Surfer, followed by a collaboration with Jim Starlin on the Warlock/Thanos Infinity multi-miniseries saga. With writer Tom DeFalco, he helped create the look and characters of the MC2 universe, while he explored a different Marvel future during a 35-issue run on X-Men 2099. Lim’s other Marvel credits include Captain America, Spider-Man Unlimited and Venom: Lethal Protector.

No one in the small town of Dunwich knew who young Wilbur Whateley’s father was—or that the hideous outcast boy was the most dangerous sorcerer alive! First published in 1929 in the legendary pulp magazine Weird Tales, this deluxe hardcover manga adaptation of The Dunwich Horror is the complete story in one volume! The horror was born before dawn on February 2, 1913—the feast of Candlemas, although the people of Dunwich call that ancient festival by a different name. Of unknown father, Wilbur Whateley was not christened—yet he descended still from a one-proud Puritan family that left Salem in 1692 to found Dunwich, Massachusetts. And the descent of the Whateleys and their old town has been deep indeed—its now crumbling houses overlooked by bare hills topped by stone circles, where unhallowed rituals were held before the first settlers ever came.Yet it was none other than ten year old Wilbur Whateley that led Dr. Henry Armitage, head librarian at Miskatonic University, to drive the dusty, rutted roads out to Dunwich, and meet the child prodigy who had been corresponding with him on the most abstruse and disturbing lore. Dr. Armitage could hardly believe the sight of the priceless hoard of occult books rotting away in the Whateley farmhouse—nor that of the dark, goatish Wilbur, for whom those books had been his only education. But young Wilbur Whateley is not content with his homeschooling—to complete his studies, he needs something Miskatonic possesses, the Latin edition of the Necronomicon. And if they’re too snooty to lend their precious copy out to a country boy like him, Wilbur has other means to try to get it. The lad is no mere academic dilletante; he studies these things for a reason. Wilbur Whateley was born into this world with a great and horrific purpose—to open a doorway for those not of this world to return to Earth!Special Features:Wraparound cover art by Gou Tanabe on silver foil paper with color overprintingGilded edgesSewn binding Ribbon bookmarkTip-in title page in metallic gold inkTwelve pages in color“I love H.P. An encounter with the work of creature modeler Yasushi Nirasawa in Hobby Japan magazine started Tanabe’s interest in horror movies and the special effects behind them as well.Tanabe began his professional manga career with a short stint working as an assistant, but made his solo debut in 2003 with Sunakichi, published in Comic Beam magazine; the story won the magazine’s New Faces Award, and Tanabe would soon become associated with Comic Beam, which began to regularly feature his Lovecraft manga staring in 2007 with an adaptation of the short story “The Outsider.”In addition to receiving nominations for three Eisner Awards, two Harvey Awards, and one American Manga Award to date, Gou Tanabe has received critical acclaim in France, winning the prestigious Best Series award in 2020 at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, as well as in his native Japan with a Jury Selection Award at the 2018 Japan Media Arts Festival.

What was supposed to be a fun day at the amusement park turns into a nightmarish time loop for one high schooler. From the creators of the light novel and manga series The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes (also from Seven Seas), which inspired an anime film. After winning tickets to an old theme park on the outskirts of Tokyo, Casio and his friends brave the eerie rumors surrounding the place for a little winter adventure. However, what was supposed to be a fun day trip takes a horrific turn when one friend lures Casio away from the group—and stabs him to death. While he bleeds out, his friend tearfully begs him to save someone named Asebi. When Casio next awakens, time has rewound to the moment he set foot in the park that morning. Though he’s shaken and desperate for answers, his “second” day goes by without incident—until he tries to leave and snaps right back to that morning again. As he spirals into panic, a mysterious girl appears and introduces herself as Asebi. She tells him she’s been trapped in the park for a long time, reliving the same day over and over. Now Casio is caught in the loop as well…and according to Asebi, the only way out is to kill someone.

A massive cultural phenomenon, made even bigger by the hit anime based on it. To this day, "Ashita no Joe" remains one of the most important manga of all time, and now it will finally see the light of day in English for the first time!THE PECULIAR TRAGEDY OF THE BOXERAfter their decisive bout, the end of Joe's great rivalry with Rikiishi sends him spiraling into the depths of despair—where does a rowdy underdog go when he has nothing left to fight for? But when an unexpected new rival provides Joe with a fresh challenge, will he be able to claw his way out of the gutter once again...?This universally acclaimed classic is much more than a sports manga: it is a cultural touchstone and a realist masterpiece, perhaps the most prominent series ever to eschew any hint of the superhuman or supernatural, yielding a keenly observed human drama that captured the hearts of an entire generation on its way to becoming a runaway bestseller. Serialized from 1968-1973, Ashita no Joe made a particular impact on college students and the working class, who saw their own experience reflected in Joe's struggle. To this day, it remains one of the most important manga ever published, and this landmark omnibus edition marks its first appearance in English translation.Hitmaker Asao Takamori was arguably the biggest manga author of his day, while the massively influential Tetsuya Chiba was awarded the prestigious Order of Culture by the Japanese government in 2024, the first manga artist ever to receive that honor.
Rated T+
Takamori was perhaps the biggest manga author of his day, churning out hit after hit in the 60s and 70s, including "Ashita no Joe," "Star of the Giants," and "Tiger Mask." While all are nominally sports manga, Takamori's great skill was in bringing other dimensions to his work.Tetsuya Chiba, known primarily for his sports manga, is one of the most influential manga artists of all time and winner of innumerable awards.
