Sculpted by Erick Sosa, this finely crafted statue depicts a grieving Wolverine who has escaped from the research facility where he was subjected to Experiment X, a brutal experiment that involved bonding the mutant's skeleton with admantium and erasing his memories. The statue recreates the scene where the fugitive mutant is running down a snowy mountain road after his escape, which is considered to a crucial point in the character's storyline. The diorama base is modeled after the harsh winter environment in the remote area of Alberta, Canada where Department K is located. Although the motif of the statue differs from the statues of the -Danger Room Sessions- series, Weapon X still looks great displayed alongside the other X-Men Fine Art Statues. A mercenary who is proficient with any bladed weapon or firearm and yet petrified of death, Wade Wilson underwent a variety of changes when he was injected with an artificial version of Wolverine's healing factor that transformed him into one of the most dangerous heroes, Deadpool! Sculpted in an aggressive combat pose, this 1/6-scale rendition of the boisterous hero stands just over 12' tall. Deadpool stands atop a rusted catwalk base that evokes the atmosphere of a battle inside an abandoned factory plant. The statue also comes with an assortment of the hero's favorite weapons, with holsters for his katanas, three handguns, and the knife he keeps in the sheath on his right leg, as well as interchangeable hand parts allowing him to hold the weapons. Kotobukiya has introduced the latest installments in their stylish Devil May Cry series as Dante and Nero are joining their line of ARTFX J 1/8-scale statues. Dante appears as if he has jumped straight from the game, holding his signature blade Rebellion at the ready, an aloof expression on his face. Each detail of the character's appearance has been carefully recreated, from the leather texture on his coat and trousers to the metal buttons and fasteners on his costume. Rebellion is also faithfully recreated down to the intricate details of the skeleton on the hilt, which has a different design on the top and bottom; just one example of why this piece cannot be fully appreciated from one single angle. In this world alien creatures called 'dragons' have taken over the Earth and it's up to heroes from a variety of different classes to fight them and save humanity. The first Ani*Statue from the franchise is the cute and mysterious FORTUNER from the final sequel 7th Dragon III Code: VFD (coming to North America in summer, 2016)! Called the 'astrologer of the battlefield,' the Fortuner uses scythes and the forces of death in the fight against the dragons. This version of the character utilizes the Atlantis style from 12,000 years ago and the standard color scheme in the game's complex character creation matrix. Fortuner stalks her prey carefully, bent over at the waist with her hands outstretched behind her and one leg crossed in front of the other. She never takes her green eyes off of her enemy, staring it down with a penetrating gaze and a determined expression. The girl wears a complex outfit with a short frilly dress and multiple capes and sashes layered over it, all in the beautiful blue, purple, and white color scheme with black, white, and gray accents. Of particular note is the twisting and flowing motion of Fortuner's clothing as well as the sculpting detail calling out the different materials in it, and of course the adorable cat ears with fur that sit atop her head. Sculpted by Shou Kojima, the Atlantean Fortuner is just over 9 inches tall (1/7 scale) in her bent over pose as she stands on a unique display base emblazoned with a symbol from the game. Once a normal ape living in Africa, Grodd (along with his people) was given heightened intelligence by the pilot of a crashed alien starship. Unlike the other inhabitants of Gorilla City, however, Grodd also received incredible telekinetic and telepathic powers! With those and his unchecked aggression the fearsome ape would attempt to take over world on more than one occasion, though his schemes are continually stopped by the Flash. In the New 52 era of DC Comics Grodd was once again ruler of Gorilla City, and used the Scarlet Speedster's powers against him (unsuccessfully). That version of the character is now immortalized in the elite ARTFX+ series with this massive and mean presentation of Gorilla Grodd standing on two legs and bellowing into the air with the skull of one of his victims held aloft! The maniacal villain has an incredible sculpt covered in realistic long fur and the snarl on his face will stop heroes right in their tracks. Grodd wears a fluttering red loincloth on a gold belt, and his matching helmet, pauldrons, and ragged cape are removable so you can display him as you like!
