Another member of the Japanese 'Shining' series of games, Shining Force Feather is a turn-based tactical role-playing game from Flight-Plan and Sega available exclusively on the Nintendo DS. The game features character designs by Japan's renowned illustrator Ito-Noizi (best known for his work on Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan No Shana). The first Shining Force Feather character brought to life is ALFIN UMBRIO, a curious young artificial life form. No one knows exactly why, but Alfin Umbrio is remarkably lively and curious for an artificial intelligence. Her inquisitive nature is captured perfectly in this new Ani*Statue. The pretty girl sits atop a rocky pillar base, reaching out to touch something that has caught her attention. Alfin wears a remarkably detailed dress with flowing lifelike 'fabric,' lots of frills, and a matching headband, shoes, and stockings. The black dress and accessories are decorated with purple highlights, and intricately sculpted purple roses adorn her chest, arms, and shoes. Alfin's long purple hair spreads out behind her in dynamic and natural movement, and her soft face really captures the character's sweet spirit. Joining the two main robot characters in the line of 1:1 scale model kits is the third Interceptor Doll, PEST-X! After he resigned from Maazu Pharmaceuticals, inventor Furuyashiki moved to America and created the advanced Pest-X Interceptor Doll. Unleashed upon the world, the new Doll considers Combat-san its enemy and employs a transforming motorcycle. Unlike the cute Hoihoi-San, Pest-X wears a striking leather-inspired black outfit complete with silver zippers, thigh-high boots, and fingerless gloves. Her face is covered by a long white scarf while her bright red hair is held in place by an intricate mechanical device. A hero in his homeland of Brazil and Japan where he competed in some of his most famous races, Senna's career included 41 victories, 65 pole positions, and three world championships. His legacy of philanthropy rivals that of his racing; only after his death behind the wheel during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix was it discovered that he had donated millions of dollars from his personal fortune to children's charities. Appearing as he did after winning the Brazil GP 1991, Senna stands triumphant with his right hand holding his trophy up in the air. The legendary driver wears his red Honda Nacional driving uniform, intricately detailed with every seam, crease, and sponsor patch. But the details go every further. After that grueling race, in which gear box trouble left him with only six functioning, Senna finished with a numb left arm, and even that is reflected in the statue! A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series continues with its fifth member, the mighty steel-skinned mutant COLOSSUS! Born Piotr 'Peter' Rasputin, the mutant who would become an X-Man grew up on a struggling farm in the Soviet Union. His first comic book appearance took place in 1975's Giant-Size X-Men #1, when Professor Xavier visited the small farm to recruit Peter. At first denying his powers, the mutant revealed his true abilities when a runaway tractor threatened his sister. Transforming into a living steel form with vast strength and durability, Colossus would join the X-Men and serve with distinction, which of course meant lots of practice in the Danger Room. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. Inspired by Jim Lee's 1990's era X-Men, Colossus is a massive and unstoppable force. The massive mutant is posed triumphant on the field of battle, about to bring down his heavy fists to crush the last of his wrecked foes. With his powerful physique transformed into living metal, Colossus has a fantastic sculpt showing off each and every muscle wrapped in smooth, narrow bands. He wears his classic bright red and yellow costume that's decorated at the waist with a large red and black 'X' logo. Everywhere his 'skin' is exposed is bright metallic silver, except for his black hair, making Colossus very visually dynamic. But that's not all. You even have two cool options when it comes to displaying the X-Man as he comes with two interchangeable heads: the first is angry yet focused, while the second is a sheer mask of rage! Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the enormous Colossus stands over 15 inches tall! He's perfectly in scale (1/6th) with the other Danger Room Sessions members, and like them stands upon a unique Danger Room holographic environment with translucent parts that glow with a built-in LED light in the base. Born Remy Etienne LeBeau in New Orleans and kidnapped into the Thieves' Guild, Gambit had to grow up tough and clever. Of course, his mutant powers also helped; he is able to charge objects with bio-kinetic energy. Gambit keeps an array of items with him that he can use in battle, but his signature weapons are his staff and a seemingly endless supply of playing cards. Despite, or because of, his troubled past and occasional relapses, Remy is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe and an X-Man in good standing. Being a member of the team means that Gambit has seen his fair share of training exercises in the Danger Room. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. Always confident in the face of overwhelming odds, Gambit shows he's ready for action in the midst of a particularly harrowing training session. Garbed in his unique metallic blue, purple, and silver costume, the X-Man stands tall in a battle-ready stance with his signature brown overcoat whipping in the air behind him. Gambit carries his two favorite weapons with his bo staff in his right hand and a trio of playing cards fully energized (via a stunning translucent pink effect) in his left. The mutant hero's sculpt is top notch, bringing to life every element of his clothing and his athletic physique.
