The 501 Organization Agent waits impatiently for the procedure to be finished with one hand resting next to her and the other casually holding a pistol with her arm resting on her pulled-up knee. Motoko wears her signature red shorts and top and her short blue hair frames her scowling face and matches her blue eyes. In this world alien creatures called 'dragons' have taken over the Earth and it's up to heroes from a variety of different classes to fight them and save humanity. The first Ani*Statue from the franchise is the cute and mysterious FORTUNER from the final sequel 7th Dragon III Code: VFD (coming to North America in summer, 2016)! Called the 'astrologer of the battlefield,' the Fortuner uses scythes and the forces of death in the fight against the dragons. This version of the character utilizes the Atlantis style from 12,000 years ago and the standard color scheme in the game's complex character creation matrix. Fortuner stalks her prey carefully, bent over at the waist with her hands outstretched behind her and one leg crossed in front of the other. She never takes her green eyes off of her enemy, staring it down with a penetrating gaze and a determined expression. The girl wears a complex outfit with a short frilly dress and multiple capes and sashes layered over it, all in the beautiful blue, purple, and white color scheme with black, white, and gray accents. Of particular note is the twisting and flowing motion of Fortuner's clothing as well as the sculpting detail calling out the different materials in it, and of course the adorable cat ears with fur that sit atop her head. Sculpted by Shou Kojima, the Atlantean Fortuner is just over 9 inches tall (1/7 scale) in her bent over pose as she stands on a unique display base emblazoned with a symbol from the game. Kotobukiya's lineup of statues based on the superheroes and villains of DC Comics continues to grow, and following after Captain Cold is another of Flash's Rogues: GORILLA GRODD! Once a normal ape living in Africa, Grodd (along with his people) was given heightened intelligence by the pilot of a crashed alien starship. Unlike the other inhabitants of Gorilla City, however, Grodd also received incredible telekinetic and telepathic powers! With those and his unchecked aggression the fearsome ape would attempt to take over world on more than one occasion, though his schemes are continually stopped by the Flash. In the New 52 era of DC Comics Grodd was once again ruler of Gorilla City, and used the Scarlet Speedster's powers against him (unsuccessfully). That version of the character is now immortalized in the elite ARTFX+ series with this massive and mean presentation of Gorilla Grodd standing on two legs and bellowing into the air with the skull of one of his victims held aloft! The maniacal villain has an incredible sculpt covered in realistic long fur and the snarl on his face will stop heroes right in their tracks. Grodd wears a fluttering red loincloth on a gold belt, and his matching helmet, pauldrons, and ragged cape are removable so you can display him as you like! Sculpted by Ikkei Jitsukata, Gorilla Grodd stands an incredible 10 inches tall in the ARTFX+ 1/10 scale, and the magnets in his feet provide extra stability on his included display base. While the movie introduced several new Imperial troop designs used before the events of A New Hope, the most sinister and distinctive comes to you now in a pair with the DEATH TROOPER 2 PACK! Elite soldiers in the Galactic Empire, the Death Troopers wear a unique and singularly menacing version of the classic Stormtrooper armor with several important differences. In addition to added equipment and ammo the helmet features an elongated faceplate, but of course the most obvious change is instead of the bright white of the standard armor it has a diabolical jet black finish!
