Kevin Smith is an American filmmaker, actor, comedian, comic book writer, author, YouTuber, and podcaster. He came to prominence with the low-budget comedy buddy film Clerks (1994), which he wrote, directed, co-produced, and acted in as the character Silent Bob of stoner duo Jay and Silent Bob. Jay and Silent Bob also appeared in Smith's later films Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997), Dogma (1999), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Clerks II (2006), Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019), and Clerks III (2022), which are set primarily in his home state of New Jersey. Between 2011 and 2018, Smith mostly made horror films, including Red State (2011) and the comedy horror films Tusk (2014) and Yoga Hosers (2016). He has served as a director-for-hire for material he did not write, including the buddy cop action-comedy Cop Out (2010), various television series episodes, and Masters of the Universe: Revelation in 2021. Tim Sheridan has worked on some of the biggest DC animated projects including Justice League Action, DC Super Hero Girls, and Reign of the Supermen before turning his writing skills to the world of comic books and graphic novels. Rob David is a dynamic showrunner, executive producer, and creative development leader who crafts captivating kids and family content for industry giants like Netflix, Disney, Nickelodeon, PBS Kids, DC Comics, Dark Horse, and Scholastic. He soon found his way to the US comic market through jobs for Marvel and Dark Horse, while also contributing to Brazilian publishers like JBC Editora, Editora Abril, Mythos Editora and Brainstorm.Adriana Melo is a Brazilian comic book artist who has worked for DC Comics, Marvel, Dark Horse, and Image Comics. Some of the notable books she worked on include Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Star Wars: Empire, Rose & Thorn, Witchblade, Miss Marvel, Birds of Prey, Catwoman, New Adventures of the Ninth Doctor, and Power Girl.Eddie Nunez was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Shirow Masamune was born in 1961 in Kobe, Japan and attended Osaka University of Arts, where his fellow classmates included Hideaki Anno, the future creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Shirow began his professional manga career in 1985 with Appleseed, which won one of Japan’s top prizes for science fiction, the Seiun Award. Dark Horse first began to publish Shirow’s work in 1992, beginning with his art book Intron Depot and manga Orion and Dominion, followed in 1995 with the first English edition of his most famous manga series, Ghost in the Shell. In 1996, Shirow was the first manga artist to be featured on the cover of Wizard: The Guide to Comics. Through his futuristic designs, dynamic action sequences and visionary concepts, Shirow has become one the most influential manga artists on international creators, counting among his fans the film directors James Cameron and Neill Blomkamp.

Mike Mignola's fascination with ghosts and monsters began at an early age; reading Dracula at age twelve introduced him to Victorian literature and folklore, from which he has never recovered. Starting in 1982 as a bad inker for Marvel Comics, he swiftly evolved into a not-so-bad artist. By the late 1980s, he had begun to develop his own unique graphic style, with mainstream projects like Cosmic Odyssey and Batman:Gotham by Gaslight.
