esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

The classic Gundam series now in a premium Deluxe Edition hardcover!PRAISE FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING SERIES “It’s a good book. Very good, actually. Very good war comics, requiring no prior experience with anime or mecha or Gundam—just a well-made, old-fashioned war comic, full of thrills and spills and lucky breaks and narrow escapes and preening villains you’ll love to hate and pigheaded heroes you may hate to love, and expert drawings by a master craftsman, and hard, sturdy violence.” —Joe McCulloch, The Comics Journal“One of the best drawn and told manga works of recent memory… If you want to understand the fuss around the original Gundam, or even read one of the better manga works out there, then Gundam: The Origin is definitely worth checking out.” —Ollie Barder, Forbes“WINNER: BEST MANGA [2013] This manga was penned by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko—and who better to handle the transformation of the show from screen to page than the man who had key roles in the original series, from character design, to illustration, to layout?” —NEO Magazine (U.K.)“Yasuhiko’s work is just really strong throughout. Fights between mobile suits are exciting, and manage to stay clear despite an impressive amount of detail… These releases deserve as much love as was put into them.”—Joseph Luster, Otaku USA“While it goes without saying that Gundam fans should enjoy these books, they are also a good read for those who simply like a science fiction or a war story that is well-written, nicely illustrated, and full of interesting characters… [S]eriously good literary entertainment.” —Anime News Network“No real knowledge or understanding of the original MSG is needed… What follows are hundreds of pages of suspenseful war drama and sci-fi explosiveness, all of which is well and good (seriously good, actually; this is an intensely fun sci-fi epic), but it’s the visuals that you are truly getting this book for.” —Graphic Novel Reporter“A compelling coming-of-age story. It spins personal and political drama together in a way that is both engaging and satisfying… This is a series you will want to put into a teen’s hands, even if they don’t know it yet. Once they start reading, they won’t want to put it down.” —School Library Journal Blog Network The storied Gundam franchise’s “First Season” that set new standards of verisimilitude for televised sci-fi animation returns in comics form at the hand of one of the initial creators! The definitive account expands on the classic narrative with the same sense of purpose that lit up the screen more than four decades ago. This new edition collects the original bestselling twelve-installment English release into six oversized volumes. MIKE MIGNOLA’s fascination with ghosts and monsters began at an early age; reading Dracula at age twelve introduced him to Victorian literature and folklore, from which he has never recovered. Starting in 1982 as a bad inker for Marvel Comics, he evolved into a not-so-bad artist. By the late 1980s, he’d begun to develop his unique graphic style, with mainstream projects like Cosmic Odyssey and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. In 1994, he published the first Hellboy series through Dark Horse, leading to over two decades of comics spinoffs, prose books, animated films, and live-action films. He worked on Francis Ford Coppola’s film Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), and with director Guillermo del Toro on Blade II (2002), Hellboy (2004), and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008). A new Hellboy film by Neil Marshall is in the works. Mike’s books have earned numerous awards and are published in many countries. He lives in Southern California with his wife, daughter, and cat.JOHN ARCUDI has been telling lies since he was a boy. Eventually it became clear that this was the only thing he was any good at. After a stint writing for Marvel, he ended up at Dark Horse, where he wrote, among other things, The Mask. John is best known as cocreator of Major Bummer and A God Somewhere, both for DC Comics, and collaborating on a whole mess of comics with Mike Mignola. Recent work includes his original series Rumble and Dead Inside, as well as Mike Mignola’s Lobster Johnson.CHRIS ROBERSON is the co-creator of iZOMBIE (with Mike Allred) and EDISON REX (with Dennis Culver), and the co-writer of HELLBOY AND THE B.P.R.D and other titles set in the world of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy. In addition to his numerous comics projects, he has written more than a dozen novels and three dozen short stories.LAURENCE CAMPBELL worked as a graphic designer for six years before studying, and later teaching, at Central Saint Martins. During this time he started drawing comics for Caliber Comics before working for Image, 2000 AD and Marvel on titles like Punisher Max, The Dark Tower and Marvel Universe vs. Wolverine. He is now happy drawing monsters while hearing his family around the house.CHRISTOPHER MITTEN is originally from the cow-dappled expanse of southern Wisconsin, and now spends his time roaming the misty wilds of suburban Chicago, drawing little people in little boxes. He can be found online at www.ChristopherMitten.com and on Instagram @Chris_Mitten.PAUL GRIST is a British writer and artist known for his creator-owned series Kane and Jack Staff, published through his own Dancing Elephant Press and collected by Image Comics. He has also worked on Rift War! (Titan Comics), Judge Dredd (2000AD), and St. Swithin’s Day with Grant Morrison (Trident Comics). North Carolina native JASON LATOUR has been making comics for over a decade, from the award winning Southern Bastards with Jason Aaron, to the hit Marvel series Spider-Gwen with Robbi Rodriguez. When not creating comics, Latour can be found rapping under the name Old Youngin’. DAVE STEWART was born on the high desert to the chatter of a rattlesnake. Despite a rare case of Sasquatch leg and the desire to run with any northbound moose migration, he found the coloring arts were a suitable profession, allowing him to build a moonshine still in the hills of Southwest Portland. His coloring garnered him industry awards, unlike his feverish gathering of dry leaves for winter bedding. And he colors on.BILL CRABTREE is an Eisner Award and Harvey Award nominated colorist who has worked in comics since 2003. He has worked on Invincible (Image Comics), The Sixth Gun (Oni Press), and The Visitor: How and Why He Stayed for Dark Horse Comics among others.

Hailed as a “modern masterpiece” by The A.V. Club, this new pocket-sized edition (6×9 inches) tells a sprawling tale of magic and family, legacy and grief, good and evil. Acclaimed suspense novelist and New York Times best-selling author Joe Hill (The Fireman, Heart-Shaped Box) has created a gripping story of dark fantasy and wonder—with astounding artwork from Gabriel Rodriguez—that, like the doors of Keyhouse, will transform all who open it. The epic begins here! This new edition includes Welcome to Lovecraft and Head Games.Following their father’s gruesome murder in a violent home invasion, the Locke children return to his childhood home of Keyhouse in secluded Lovecraft, Massachusetts. Their mother, Nina, is too trapped in her grief—and a wine bottle—to notice that all in Keyhouse is not what it seems: too many locked doors, too many unanswered questions. The IDW Classic Collections will collect the six-volume series into three convenient, pocket-sized editions. The second volume will include Crown of Shadows and Keys to the Kingdom; the third volume will include Clockworks and Alpha & Omega.

The classic Gundam series now in a premium Deluxe Edition hardcover!PRAISE FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING SERIES“It’s a good book. Very good, actually. Very good war comics, requiring no prior experience with anime or mecha or Gundam—just a well-made, old-fashioned war comic, full of thrills and spills and lucky breaks and narrow escapes and preening villains you’ll love to hate and pigheaded heroes you may hate to love, and expert drawings by a master craftsman, and hard, sturdy violence.” —Joe McCulloch, The Comics Journal “One of the best drawn and told manga works of recent memory… If you want to understand the fuss around the original Gundam, or even read one of the better manga works out there, then Gundam: The Origin is definitely worth checking out.” —Ollie Barder, Forbes “WINNER: BEST MANGA [2013] This manga was penned by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko—and who better to handle the transformation of the show from screen to page than the man who had key roles in the original series, from character design, to illustration, to layout?” —NEO Magazine (U.K.)“Yasuhiko’s work is just really strong throughout. Fights between mobile suits are exciting, and manage to stay clear despite an impressive amount of detail… These releases deserve as much love as was put into them.”—Joseph Luster, Otaku USA “While it goes without saying that Gundam fans should enjoy these books, they are also a good read for those who simply like a science fiction or a war story that is well-written, nicely illustrated, and full of interesting characters… [S]eriously good literary entertainment.” —Anime News Network “No real knowledge or understanding of the original MSG is needed… What follows are hundreds of pages of suspenseful war drama and sci-fi explosiveness, all of which is well and good (seriously good, actually; this is an intensely fun sci-fi epic), but it’s the visuals that you are truly getting this book for.” —Graphic Novel Reporter “A compelling coming-of-age story. All of the many color pages—unusually numerous for Japanese comics—have been retained…only at a larger size. The master’s artwork has never looked so grand! This year marks the 40th anniversary of Frank Miller's iconic comic series, Batman: The Dark Knight™ Returns. In this classic story, the Man of Steel has become a covert enforcer for the government. When the Dark Knight comes out of retirement to clean up Gotham, a clash between these two titans becomes inevitable. Sideshow and Hot Toys is thrilled to present the Superman™ Sixth Scale Collectible Figure based on his imposing appearance in Batman: The Dark Knight™ Returns. The sixth scale figure features two newly developed head sculpts that bring the character to life. The first captures his stoic, authoritative expression, while the second features a battle-damaged, clenched-teeth expression with blood paint application. Taking realism to the next level, both head sculpts are equipped with separate rolling eyeballs and a specially applied UV luminous reflective effect, allowing collectors to recreate Superman's menacing heat vision under UV light. Meticulously crafted to capture the distinct, bulky art style of the comic series, this figure stands approximately 34cm tall, featuring a newly developed muscular body that perfectly portrays Superman's massive physique. The costume is expertly tailored, featuring a blue elastic fabric material suit that accentuates the muscular form, complete with the iconic red and yellow colored Superman symbol on the chest, a yellow colored belt, and a bendable wire embedded red cape embossed with the yellow Superman symbol for dynamic flying poses. To recreate the brutal combat and dynamic flight scenes from the comic, the figure is equipped with six newly developed interchangeable hands, such as fists, claw gesture hands, and flying gesture hands. Enhancing the display possibilities, the figure also comes with key weaponry from the comic series, including a Kryptonite arrow and a damaged sonic gun. The figure is completed with a specially designed display stand featuring the comic series logo. Prepare for the ultimate showdown and add this Superman action figure to your DC Comics collection today! (immagine)

After penciling several issues of Detective Comics and co-authoring The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Creating a Graphic Novel, Lieber brought his stark style to Marvel’s Civil War: Front Line and The Superior Foes of Spider-Man. He also illustrated Image Comics’ Underground.Best known as artist and co-creator of the IDW series Memorial, Rich Ellis has also worked for Th3rd World Studios, Harper and Walker/Bloomsbury UK.
