Nella frame-story inedita di questo mese, a firma Marconi-Deiana, i Paperi cercano di salvare il vecchio teatro cittadino imbastendo una serie di rappresentazioni a tema medievale/cavalleresco, dal momento che hanno scenografie solo di quel periodo. Fra le storie riproposte, ricordiamo “Sir Paperino e i ragionieri della tavola rotonda”, parodia del ciclo di re Artù del duo Sarda-Figus con disegni di Francesco D’Ippolito, “Cavalier Paperinella”, avventura cavalleresca in versione “rosa” di Russo-Iacolucci, e soprattutto le 92 pagine di “Paperleon dai Scorcia”, vero pezzo forte di questa raccolta, con Paperino che “impersona” Brancaleone da Norcia, con tanto di logorrea in finto italiano antico.
