Evan Dorkin is an American comics artist and writer. His most well-known works are the comic books Milk and Cheese and Dork. His comics often poke fun at fandom, even while making it clear that Dorkin is a fan himself. As well as his comics work, Dorkin has also written for animation, including (with his wife Sarah Dyer, also a comics writer/artist) Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. He also wrote and produced Bring me the Head of Boba Fett, an animated television pilot for Adult Swim called Welcome to Eltingville, based on his own characters. Dorkin and Dyer also wrote some episodes of the Superman animated series, particularly the episode "Live Wire," which introduced a new character of the same name. Additionally, the pair contributed to the script of the 2006 English-language version of the anime Shin Chan. After an initial six-episode order proved successful, more episodes were ordered, but Dorkin and Dyer are no longer working on the series. Dorkin has been the recipient of several Eisner Awards, including 2002's Best Writer/Artist: Humor.

Eiji Otsuka is a social critic and novelist. He graduated from college with a degree in anthropology, women's folklore, human sacrifice and post-war manga. In addition to his work with manga he is a critic, essayist, and author of several successful non-fiction books on Japanese popular and otaku sub-cultures. He writes the Multiple Personality Detective Psycho and The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service manga series. One of his first animation script works was Mahō no Rouge Lipstick, an adult lolicon OVA. Ōtsuka was the editor for the bishōjo lolicon manga series Petit Apple Pie. In the 80s, Otsuka was editor-in-chief of Manga Burikko, a leading women's manga magazine where he pioneered research on otaku sub-cultures in modern Japan. He has published a host of books and articles about the manga industry. The author lives in Tokyo, Japan.

His third original novel, The Endless Vessel, arrived in June 2023.Charles is a creative consultant for Lucasfilm, Ltd, and one of the founding architects of STAR WARS: THE HIGH REPUBLIC, a multi-platform Star Wars saga kicked off by his #1 New York Times’ best-selling novel Light of the Jedi, released in January 2021. In addition, he worked as the legal consultant for the 2022 Disney+ television She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law.Jesús Saiz made his name with Spanish readers with the fanzine 451º, and then the Azoth miniseries. His first American work, “Iron Reich 3000,” was published in Dark Horse Presents, and he followed it with a story for Star Wars Tales. His work for DC Comics includes Birds of Prey, Swamp Thing and an Eisner Award-nominated collaboration with J. Michael Straczynski on The Brave & the Bold. Saiz moved to Marvel to illustrate Captain America: Steve Rogers, which he followed with such titles as Doctor Strange, Star Wars and Punisher.
