After he resigned from Maazu Pharmaceuticals, inventor Furuyashiki moved to America and created the advanced Pest-X Interceptor Doll. Unleashed upon the world, the new Doll considers Combat-san its enemy and employs a transforming motorcycle. Unlike the cute Hoihoi-San, Pest-X wears a striking leather-inspired black outfit complete with silver zippers, thigh-high boots, and fingerless gloves. Her face is covered by a long white scarf while her bright red hair is held in place by an intricate mechanical device. Ready for miniature battle, Pest-X wields dual knives that can be stored in sheaths on her back. While the little robot's huge blue eyes look cute, pull down her scarf to reveal a wicked grin. Possibly the most influential graphic artist of his generation, Gary Panter is the creator of Jimbo, a post-nuclear cartoon character whose adventures were first chronicled as a comic strip in the '70s LA hardcore-punk paper Slash and later in RAW magazine. Panter was among the artists honored in the 2006-2007 exhibition 'Masters of American Comics.' This is the first-ever officially licensed figure of Jimbo. Working directly with Gary Panter, Yoe! Studio has crafted a very detailed (in every sense even anatomically!) rendition of this iconic character. But that's not all! Each figure is packaged in a double-sided window box festooned with full-color Gary Panter art created especially for this figure. Why two-sided? So you can see the cover of the outstandingly weird and superbly-designed 32 page book chronicling the history of the work-in-progress that resulted in our Jimbo. From Panter's many design and concept sketches to photos of the sculpture as it progressed, this unique publication is only available with the toy. Personally-selected Jimbo strips are also included. Clark Savage, Jr., aka Doc Savage, first appeared in 1933 in the pages of Doc Savage magazine. Created by Henry W. Ralston and John L. Nanovic for Street and Smith publications, Doc Savage was created to capitalize on the success of another pulp hero, The Shadow. Writer Lester Dent was the first to fully flesh out the character, and artist James Bama gave the 'Man of Bronze' the classic appearance he is known for today. Having been trained by a team of scientists from birth, Doc grew to almost superhuman abilities. Electric Tiki's Doc Savage statue depicts the hero on an icy winter base, featuring the original 'Fortress of Solitude.' The translucent blue dome reveals a hidden hatch, featuring the Doc Savage logo. Standing 12' tall, Doc Savage is sculpted by Rub?n Procopio and Bryan Wynia. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Next up in the amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series is the renowned Cajun thief and mutant hero GAMBIT! Born Remy Etienne LeBeau in New Orleans and kidnapped into the Thieves' Guild, Gambit had to grow up tough and clever. Of course, his mutant powers also helped; he is able to charge objects with bio-kinetic energy. Gambit keeps an array of items with him that he can use in battle, but his signature weapons are his staff and a seemingly endless supply of playing cards. Despite, or because of, his troubled past and occasional relapses, Remy is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe and an X-Man in good standing. Being a member of the team means that Gambit has seen his fair share of training exercises in the Danger Room. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. Always confident in the face of overwhelming odds, Gambit shows he's ready for action in the midst of a particularly harrowing training session. Garbed in his unique metallic blue, purple, and silver costume, the X-Man stands tall in a battle-ready stance with his signature brown overcoat whipping in the air behind him. Gambit carries his two favorite weapons with his bo staff in his right hand and a trio of playing cards fully energized (via a stunning translucent pink effect) in his left. The mutant hero's sculpt is top notch, bringing to life every element of his clothing and his athletic physique. Gambit's wild hair erupts from the top of his open-faced cowl, while his face captures the character's devil may care smile perfectly. Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the 'Ragin' Cajun' stands 11 inches tall, in perfect 1/6th scale with the other Danger Room Sessions members (Wolverine, Psylocke, and Colossus). Also like them, Gambit is poised on a unique Danger Room holographic environment base.
