esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Makoto Yukimura was born in 1976 in Yokohama, Japan, and was first inspired by the idea of drawing manga in elementary school, when he encountered Buronson and Tetsuo Hara’s famous Fist of the North Star. While attending college, Yukimura learned manga technique and storytelling by working as an assistant to artist Shin Morimura, a onetime collaborator with Garon Tsuchiya (Oldboy).Planetes was Makoto Yukimura’s professional debut at age 22; before being collected to graphic novel, the story was serialized in Kodansha’s prestigious weekly manga magazine Comic Morning, also home to What’s Michael? as well as titles such as Vagabond and Drops of God. Both the manga and anime adaptation of Planetes won Japan’s Seiun Award for science fiction, a feat that had not been achieved since Hayao Miyazaki’s Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.In 2005, Yukimura began his ongoing manga epic Vinland Saga, published in English by Kodansha, which in 2009 would be awarded the Grand Prize for Manga by the Japan Media Arts Festival, an official event of the national Agency for Cultural Affairs. Vinland Saga has been adapted into a two-season anime series streaming on Amazon and Netflix, winning the 4th Crunchyroll Anime Awards for Best Drama in 2020.

From the modern horror master Gou Tanabe, comes the manga adaptation of H.P Lovecraft's The Shadow Out of Time. First published in 1936 in the legendary pulp magazine Astounding Stories, this is the complete story in one volume with tip-in title page in metallic gold ink and eight pages in color!Professor Peaslee of Miskatonic University has been acting very strange—could he be out of his mind? No…his mind is out of him!Just because one lives in Arkham—just because one teaches there at Miskatonic University—it doesn’t mean one has any interest in the occult—in the abnormal. That was always the view of Nathaniel Wingate Peaslee, a respectable professor of political economy. Until that one Thursday in 1908, when Professor Peaslee suddenly began to see in front of him not his students in their lecture hall, but strange shapes inhabiting a grotesque chamber. He collapsed unconscious, and when he awoke, he was strange…very strange.Seemingly unable to recall his identity, the mind inside the body of Nathaniel Peaslee was oddly uninterested in the person he had been. The psychologists were baffled as he sought not to recover his old memory, but to obsessively study the world around him, travelling to distant lands, reading occult books, disturbing others with his odd perspectives on time and existence. He alienated and frightened people—his friends, his wife, even most of his children, except for his youngest son, who believed that one day Nathaniel Peaslee would come back. And then, in 1913, Professor Peaslee did come back, with no memory of his strange sabbatical, but deeply disturbed by the dreams and visions it left him with. His search for the past five years gone missing from his life will lead Peaslee to other cases of lost identity resembling his…and eventually to an ancient city in the Australian desert—from where a long-vanished race still casts their shadow out of time.

Rally’s still catching crooks, while Bean transports them—but now Bean’s greatest enemy is on his case: obsessed cop Percy Bacharach!Rally Vincent runs Gunsmith Cats—a gun shop in Illinois with her partner, demolitions expert and former call girl Minnie-May Hopkins. But Rally’s “real” job doesn’t pay the bills, her hobby does. And her hobby is bounty hunting, bringing the most wanted men and women in the Chicago area to justice—dressed in her sharp suit and tie, and driving her Shelby Cobra GT 500!In Gunsmith Cats Burst Omnibus Volume 1, Rally and ace transporter Bean Bandit find themselves well outside city limits—and deep in the heart of Texas! The desperate situation turns still more dire when they seek sanctuary at a remote motel far off the interstate, and some Mob hitmen on their trail check in…but this is the Wild West, and the Monroe Inn is run by an old-fashioned grandma who packs a Winchester rifle!Meanwhile, there’s a new cop in Chicago who’s from some even harder streets—the mustachioed, Mustang Mach 1-driving Inspector Percy Bacharach, late of the Detroit P.D. It seems Bean Bandit’s wrecked a few too many squad cars in the Motor City, so Percy’s transferred to Chicagoland to pursue Bean. But he’s not interested in arresting him. For the first time in English comes the critically acclaimed manga from John Tarachine, the author of Witch of Thistle Castle, that's perfect for fans of BL Metamorphosis and Hirayasumi! Umiko, a grandma, realizes that she has the same desire to make movies as university student Kai—and soon she enrolls in Kai’s film school!“It’s not the movies you like…you like watching the people watching the movies.”Just what are you going to do with the rest of your life? It’s the question you’ll always have to answer, no matter your age. Umiko Chino is a 65 year-old retired woman in mourning for her late husband. Remembering how they used to watch films together, Umiko goes to the movie theater for the first time in years, where she meets Kai, an attractive, ambiguous young man who studies filmmaking at a nearby art school. They would seem to have nothing in common, except for this—both of them sometimes like to look more at the way the audience reacts to a movie than the movie itself. Kai believes Umiko has the same deep desire he possesses to experience how people respond to something they made… and challenges her to stake the rest of her life discovering that thrill.Soon Umiko surprises herself by enrolling in the same film school as Kai. But sailing into this new sea, she’s suddenly inside the currents of her fellow students’ lives, a much younger generation that she struggles to understand, driven by their own passions and their own relationships. Who’s really experienced at life, and is it old age or observation that brings wisdom? And does what you’re looking for change when you look with your eyes instead of through a camera lens…?

Can these childhood friends find a way to understand each other or will this be the end?A boy's interest in Hime caused Akira to be upset and jealous, and the two best friends haven't spoken in weeks. Although they both want to make up, they know this problem is deeper than a crush paying attention to someone else.It has to do with him seeing Hime as a girl, and not Akira. Being in love with your best friend is hard enough but turns out, being a good friend can be even harder. Hime and Akira aren't speaking to each other after an argument. Both want to apologize, but they need to come to terms on what being a girl means for both of them. Akira is jealous that no one thinks twice about Hime being an girl, while Hime herself is grossed out that a boy might see her as nothing but a girl. The two are left to question their relationships with their gender, and their relationship with each other. Can they find a way to accept each other and make up?

The winner’s reward? Life-changing. The competition? The best of the best. The partner in his corner? His sister, Dri, a total Minecraft expert. Wait, scratch that—Dri has a fever, and now Jett is going to have to team up with . . . Dad?! Sure, he taught Jett how to play, but that was years ago. And while Jett’s got his eyes on the prize, Dad’s more eager to hike the trails. As the games begin, the rules are revealed, and the twists keep coming. If the Warners want a chance to win, they’ll need to step up and perform as a true team—before their opponents take it all. So sharpen those swords, light your torch, and get ready to play. For the first time in English comes the critically acclaimed manga from John Tarachine, the author of Witch of Thistle Castle, that's perfect for fans of BL Metamorphosis!

John Tarachine (a pen name) was born in 1989 in Hyogo prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan. While at art school, she tried her hand at filmmaking, but realized she was better suited to working alone and decided to pursue manga as a career. After graduating, she set out on a trip around the world, promising herself that she would get a real job if she didn’t make it as a manga artist by the time she was twenty-five. She narrowly met that personal deadline when she made her debut in 2015 with Good Night, I Love You, a tale of a man who travels to London to fulfill his mother’s dying wish. She followed this up with a manga adaptation of the Netflix series Sex Education before tackling fantasy in Witch of Thistle Castle. She came to feel that she was more interested in drawing shojo manga, however, and when an editor at the shojo magazine Mystery Bonita reached out to her about working together, the result was the critically acclaimed The Credits Roll into the Sea. She also draws BL manga under the name John Taratsumi.Jocelyne Allen is a Japanese translator and interpreter who splits her time between Toronto and Tokyo. No one in the small town of Dunwich knew who young Wilbur Whateley’s father was—or that the hideous outcast boy was the most dangerous sorcerer alive! First published in 1929 in the legendary pulp magazine Weird Tales, this deluxe hardcover manga adaptation of The Dunwich Horror is the complete story in one volume! The horror was born before dawn on February 2, 1913—the feast of Candlemas, although the people of Dunwich call that ancient festival by a different name. Of unknown father, Wilbur Whateley was not christened—yet he descended still from a one-proud Puritan family that left Salem in 1692 to found Dunwich, Massachusetts. And the descent of the Whateleys and their old town has been deep indeed—its now crumbling houses overlooked by bare hills topped by stone circles, where unhallowed rituals were held before the first settlers ever came.Yet it was none other than ten year old Wilbur Whateley that led Dr. Henry Armitage, head librarian at Miskatonic University, to drive the dusty, rutted roads out to Dunwich, and meet the child prodigy who had been corresponding with him on the most abstruse and disturbing lore. Dr. Armitage could hardly believe the sight of the priceless hoard of occult books rotting away in the Whateley farmhouse—nor that of the dark, goatish Wilbur, for whom those books had been his only education. But young Wilbur Whateley is not content with his homeschooling—to complete his studies, he needs something Miskatonic possesses, the Latin edition of the Necronomicon. And if they’re too snooty to lend their precious copy out to a country boy like him, Wilbur has other means to try to get it. The lad is no mere academic dilletante; he studies these things for a reason. Wilbur Whateley was born into this world with a great and horrific purpose—to open a doorway for those not of this world to return to Earth!Special Features:Wraparound cover art by Gou Tanabe on silver foil paper with color overprintingGilded edgesSewn binding Ribbon bookmarkTip-in title page in metallic gold inkTwelve pages in color“I love H.P. For the first time in English comes the critically acclaimed manga from John Tarachine, the author of Witch of Thistle Castle, that's perfect for fans of BL Metamorphosis! How do you do, fellow kids? In hopes of writing realistic film dialogue, grandma Umiko goes barhopping and clubbing with her young art school classmates!Motivated by the mysterious young Kai to enter art school and become an aspiring filmmaker, Umiko’s first attempt at a movie gets a less than rousing response from her instructor, who critiques the dialogue she wrote as not reflecting how young people actually talk. Saying that a director needs to strike a balance between their intended vision and what the audience will perceive, he suggests to Umiko that the problem isn’t her objectivity, it’s the 65 year old’s…lack of experience!Invited to go out drinking by Yamaguchi, a classmate born in a different century, Umiko breaks out of her normal retiree routine, seizing the chance to learn how the youth of today socialize. She may be able to handle her beer and the beat on the club floor…but she gets much more social interaction than she bargained for when she overhears in the restroom Yamaguchi drunkenly confess their love to Kai!
