Kazuo Koike was a prolific Japanese manga writer, novelist, and entrepreneur. Early in Koike's career, he studied under Golgo 13 creator Takao Saito and served as a writer on the series. Koike, along with artist Goseki Kojima, made the manga Kozure Okami (Lone Wolf and Cub), and Koike also contributed to the scripts for the 1970s film adaptations of the series, which starred famous Japanese actor Tomisaburo Wakayama. Another series written by Koike, Crying Freeman, which was illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami, was adapted into a 1995 live-action film by French director Christophe Gans.Goseki Kojima was a Japanese manga artist known for his collaborations with Kazuo Koike. The team was often referred to as the “Golden Duo.” Kojima’s best-known work was Lone Wolf and Cub. Other titles attributed to Kojima are Samurai Executioner and Path of the Assassin.

Yoshikazu Yasuhiko is a Japanese animator and manga artist, who also has been noted as a published author and an illustrator of children's books and young adult books. His career as a character designer has spanned three decades, creating famed characters for such anime as Space Cruiser Yamato, Brace Raideen, and the widely known Mobile Suit Gundam. Considered a pivotal player in mecha and sci-fi anime, Yasuhiko's characters, stories and illustrations are unmistakable in their style and serve as timeless examples as pioneers of manga and animation in Japan.Born in 1947, Yasuhiko began his career as an animator in Osama Tezuka's Mushi Productions, and later on decided to go freelance to work for a number of animation productions for both film and television. In 1981, he took home a Seiun award for Best Artist of the Year. Praise and accolades continued for Yasuhiko, when he took home the Nippon Mangaka Kyokai (Japan Cartoonists Society) award in 1992, followed by an Excellence Prize in manga for Ōdō no Inu at the Japan Media Arts Festival in 2000. Parlov joined author Richard K. Morgan on Marvel’s Black Widow: Homecoming, a fast-paced miniseries that returned the character to her espionage roots. Following his success on Punisher, Parlov re-teamed with writer Garth Ennis on Punisher Presents: Barracuda MAX, illustrating a new tale of this unforgettable killer for hire. He collaborated with award-winning author Jonathan Maberry to tell the tale of a dystopian future in which a dangerous pathogen has destroyed human society, turning everyone it touches into murderous cannibals, in Marvel Universe vs. the Punisher.Jacen Burrows is an American comic-book artist who has worked with legendary writers such as Warren Ellis and Garth Ennis. Outside comics, his credits include contributions to Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and TSR’s Dungeons & Dragons. For Marvel Legacy, Burrows tackled fan-favorite character Moon Knight with writer Max Bemis.
