The series of dynamic female characters from the 'Shining' series continues with the star of the massively popular PlayStation 2 game Shining Wind, in an all-new version: XECTY E.V.E. One of Baelgard's four guardians, Xecty is an artificial life form created by Hiruda from Celestia's genetic material. The new E.V.E. version recreates the character's origin as an ancient biological body weapon. Representing the ornate clothing of a bygone era, Xecty's outfit is an amazing example of Kotobukiya's excellent sculpting and attention to detail in an alternate version of her military uniform. The long bright red jacket features intricate hems, folds, and stitching, while layers and straps add white and black to the mix. On Xecty's sleeves are complicated laces and bright white symbols adorn her jacket at the shoulder and base. The humanoid weapon has a serene facial expression under distinctive ears and forehead horn. Xecty comes armed with a large scythe and stands upon an exclusive base. Based on the Japanese light novel series by Koshi Tachibana and Tsunako, Date A Live II is the second season of the hit anime following Shido Itsuka's quest to stop Spirits from damaging the world. The first interesting character from this series to be immortalized in Ani*Statue form is the third Spirit, KURUMI TOKISAKI! The most vicious of the Spirits and aggressive in her pursuit of Shido, Kurumi relaxes seductively here in a provocative outfit. Lying on the ground, she holds her head up with one hand while pulling up her knees in a cute, feminine motion. What little Kurumi wears shows off her trademark black color with lacy stockings and frilly lingerie with a partly transparent effect. The Spirit accessorizes with matching frilled wristbands and a huge black and orange bonnet, each decorated with crimson ties. The clothing colors draw the eye toward her face and her stunning eyes - one is a deep red while the other is a golden clock face! Impressive attention to detail captures every subtle element of the Spirit's clothing as well as the long tendrils of her hair. Sculpted by Taketo Ogasawara, Kurumi Tokisaki presents a very interesting display in her relaxed position that's less than 3 inches tall (1/7 scale). From Gecco. The Bonfire holds many sacred and important meanings in the Dark Souls series. We are excited to present this monumental fire as a 1/6 scale statue. No detail was left uncaptured. The burnt bones buried in ashes and the coiled sword were traditionally sculpted in clay by Shinya Akao. The complex surging flame was digitally sculpted by YU-KI. As a surprising feature, the flame is lit by inserting the coiled sword into the earth just like in the video game scene. The details really shine from within, lighted by a special flickering LED. The bonfire statue displays beautifully as a stand alone piece but also creates an impressive display next to other Dark Souls 1/6 scale statues.
