È possibile effettuare la ricerca anche inserendo direttamente il
                                            codice a barre.

Following the iconic I, Robot, the next adventure in the Robot series finds detective Elijah Baley swept into one of the most emotionally charged and dangerous situations in Earth’s history when he’s tasked with solving the murder of an illustrious robot scientist.“With his fertile imagination, his wit, and his prolific output, Isaac Asimov truly laid the foundation for all future generations of science fiction writers.”—Kevin J. Anderson, New York Times bestselling co-author of the Dune prequel seriesLike most people left behind on an over-populated Earth, New York City police detective Elijah Baley had little love for either the arrogant Spacers or their robotic companions. But when a prominent Spacer is murdered under mysterious circumstances, Baley is ordered to the Outer Worlds to help track down the killer. The relationship between Life Lige and his Spacer superiors, who distrusted all Earthmen, was strained from the start. Then he learned that they had assigned him a partner: R. Daneel Olivaw. Worst of all was that the “R” stood for robot—and his positronic partner was made in the image and likeness of the murder victim!Isaac Asimov’s Robot series chronicles the sometimes uneasy partnership between human and humanoid:I, ROBOT • THE CAVES OF STEEL • THE NAKED SUN • THE ROBOTS OF DAWN
Isaac Asimov began his Foundation series at the age of twenty-one, not realizing that it would one day be considered a cornerstone of science fiction. During his legendary career, Asimov penned more than 470 books on subjects ranging from science to Shakespeare to history, though he was most loved for his award-winning science fiction sagas, which include the Robot, Empire, and Foundation series. Named a Grand Master of Science Fiction by the Science Fiction Writers of America, Asimov entertained and educated readers of all ages for close to five decades. He died, at the age of seventy-two, in April 1992.

This stylish, full-color bande dessinée is a beautiful coming-of-age story focusing on themes of family, friendship, self-confidence and personal growth through the lens of music and dance.Emma and Capucine are sisters, best friends, and dancers — working hard toward their dreams! Their summer family trip offers a chance to unwind by the beach, but it’s hard to relax when they have to share the house with two loud-mouthed boys. The start of the school year brings new challenges: separated from her friends, Emma grows closer with a standoffish new classmate, who also happens to be in her hip-hop dance classes. Meanwhile, at the Paris Opera Ballet School, Capucine finds she’s mysteriously lost her form for dance. Will she regain her skills before her strict teacher kicks her out?Together and apart, the two sisters navigate the ups and downs of growing up while striving to excel in dance.
Following his studies at an American university and at business school, French author Jérôme Hamon began his professional life in New York as a financial analyst. Convinced that the life he wanted was elsewhere, he left the field two years later to travel around the world. Back in France, Hamon strung together a number of jobs in the movies, video games, and television. In parallel, he began to write his first comic book and graphic novel scripts. In 2008, Hamon went to Angouleme to present his first completed scripts, and it was there that he met artist Marc Van Straceele. The two would go on to collaborate on “Yokozuna,” a graphic novel on sumo wrestling in Japan (Kana, 2013).Following that, Hamon worked with artist Antoine Carrion on “Nils,” a saga halfway between Nordic mythology and the works of Miyazaki (Soleil, 2016). He then followed with “Emma & Capucine,” a series for younger readers centered on the worlds of classical dance and hip-hop (Dargaud 2017, Europe Comics in English 2018), and “Mitsuo,” alongside Cédric Babouche (Le Lombard, 2018).Léna Sayaphoum was born in Montpellier in 1989. Ever since the beginning, drawing has been at the heart of her life. Finding inspiration in the works of such artists as James Jean, Peter Chan, Craig Mullins, and Dice Tsutsumi, she gradually developed her own style, teaching herself the trade along the way. After studying 2D and 3D computer graphics, she went to work for a number of different studios, as a concept artist, modeler, texture artist, and posing and shadowing artist. With Grid VFX, she had the chance to work on such projects as “Astérix and Obelix: Mansion of the Gods.”Her real passion was elsewhere, though. In parallel with her day jobs, she continued to develop her own creative worlds, sometimes fantasy, sometimes realistic, but always intensely personal. In 2017, together with Jérôme Hamon, she went to work on her first comics project, “Emma & Capucine,” linking her passion for drawing and illustration with her love for dance.

This stylish, full-color bande dessinée is a beautiful coming-of-age story focusing on themes of family, friendship, self-confidence and personal growth through the lens of music and dance.Emma and Capucine are sisters and best friends, who have worked their whole lives to attend the most prestigious ballet school in Paris. However, when Capucine passes the auditions and Emma doesn’t, their world collapses completely.Dealing with parental pressure, new friendships, and first loves, the two girls learn to follow their hearts – and that, sometimes, what you really want is something you never expected.Growing up and finding yourself isn’t so hard... when you can dance through it!

Tom DeFalco’s earliest comic-book scripts were for Archie and DC; he soon moved to Marvel, where he wrote Avengers, Machine Man and other titles, also launching Dazzler, a hit series of the early ’80s. In addition to writing long and well-received runs on Amazing Spider-Man and Thor, DeFalco edited many titles, eventually becoming editor in chief. During the 1980s, he headed the creative team that provided fictional biographies for G.I. Joe members, originally included with Hasbro’s toys and later used as the basis for multiple storylines on the animated series. Perhaps his best-known work is multi-title character Spider-Girl, whom he introduced in 1998. DeFalco has authored multiple books, including Ultimate Guides for Avengers, Fantastic Four, Hulk and Spider-Man.Few can match Ron Frenz’s record of substantial stints on two of comicdom’s most influential and revered characters, Spider-Man and Superman, both of whom he provided with controversial new looks. Frenz succeeded John Romita Jr. on Amazing Spider-Man, and his artwork was favorably compared to Steve Ditko’s original web-slinger. With Roger Stern, he introduced the Hobgoblin, covering the mysterious villain’s debut and revealing his identity more than a decade later in Hobgoblin Lives. With writer Tom DeFalco on Thor, Frenz debuted a new look and identity for Marvel’s Thunder God, eventually branching into Thunderstrike. Later, Frenz and DeFalco launched the MC2 Universe, home of Spider-Girl, the only Marvel heroine to reach 100 consecutive issues.Best known for long runs on Spider-Girl and Untold Tales of Spider-Man, artist Pat Olliffe has also illustrated such Marvel series as Nomad, Sensational She-Hulk, Thor, Thor Corps, Unlimited Access, Warlock and the Infinity Watch, Last Hero Standing and Last Planet Standing.

SWEETIE & HER CANDY VIGILANTES ARE BACK - TO SATISFY YOUR SWEET TOOTH WITH CANDY-COATED CARNAGE! Riding in hot on the heels of Volume 1's cliffhanger ending, the eagerly anticipated return of Blood! Guts! and a Sugar Rush is here! Sweetie and her Candy Vigilante squad are back with Volume 2 of their SWEET new series, opening with an epic, not-to-be-missed 'Sugartown Showdown!' Together with her shape-shifting, licorice-loving lycanthrope Candy Wolf and newly 'minted' ninjette warrior Pixie Stix, Sweetie faces off with a violently delicious fury against her 'salty' arch-nemesis Bart Volgare and his gang of thugs in the icy, snowy streets of New York City, where blood is spilled and an army of fabled supernaturals and sugar-fueled allies hop into action to scramble 'bad eggs!' Sweetie's signature Jawbreaker gun resurfaces, and armed with delicious new ammo she unleashes an arsenal of surreal and sweetly sinister confections that wash away the naughty and leave a wicked smile on your face - literally! Witness thugs iced by magic snowball flex and grisly fatalities caused by exploding Easter egg grenades, jellybean munitions, and gingerbread jawbreakers. Plus, the creation of Sweetie's frosted whipped cream confection called 'SweetStuff' - for those pure of heart, it's one of the most delectable concoctions you'll ever taste. To the inherently bad, however, SweetStuff doesn't taste very SWEET at all - in fact, it melts away your⦠everything! It liquefies matter into a frosty, glittery goo right down to the bone! The band is definitely back together, as squad members and enforcers Gummee Bear and Tinsel (a living Christmas Tree) return along with witch-hunting assassins Hansel and Gretel, and we're introduced to Peter Cottontail and Jack Rabbit riding in on their supercharged monster truck fueled by ice cream! We'll also meet The Great Pumpkin (who rises out of the pumpkin patch every All Hallows Eve), Sweetie's youthful beekeeper, Honey B, and receive a house call from ally Dr. Faerie Wilder, a.k.a. The Tooth Fairy herself, revealing her integral role in the science and magic of Sweetie's defense weapons development. Gaze in wonder at the halo of the Strawberry Ice Moon at the Candy Vigilante factory headquarters in Brooklyn! With plans for the 'Fortress of Sweetness' nearing completion, the NYPD learns that two mysterious, uninhabited islands, long considered abandoned and dangerous and within eyeshot of NYC's notorious jail on 'Rikers Island,' have recently been purchased from the city by a 'private buyer.' Soon, the entire world will know the name Sweetie Candy Vigilante! All this awaits, among other surprises - including the breaking news that the waters surrounding the 'Fortress of Sweetness' are now populated with Sweetie's latest creation⦠Sweetish Piranha Fish! Isn't that NICE?
