Daenerys Targaryen, the last noble of her house, is on a path to reclaim her destiny in HBO's adaptation of Game of Thrones. She has emerged as one of the series' best-loved characters. Dark Horse Deluxe has turned it skills to Daenerys, selecting an iconic moment of her resting with her dragon Drogon to create as an elaborately detailed prepainted limited-edition statue. 'Our previous large-scale Game of Thrones statues sold out shortly after release,' Dark Horse Product Development head David Scroggy observed. ' We saw pieces like our fourteen inch Iron Throne replica and the Jon Snow and Ghost statue selling out quickly, becoming hard to find at any price. Available now 12' tall, includes base and weapons Limited to 2007 pieces $99.99 Created celebrating the 30th anniversary of the greatest space fantasy film of all time, the Utapau Trooper limited-edition component to the ARTFX statue series was originally offered in 2007 at Comic-Con International. These troopers are the infamous receivers of Order 66, which called for the execution of all Jedi and set the stage for the Empire's domination of the galaxy. Each Utapau Clone Trooper stands 12 inches tall, and includes a display base and trademark clone trooper weapons-the blaster and DC-15 rifle. The level of detail that the Koto ARTFX series is known for is on display in this piece, with over 200 individual scratches and markings on the trooper's armor. Limited to only 2007 pieces (for Summer 2007), this is one of the smallest edition sizes of any ARTFX statues released. Charles Schulz's Peanuts has won acclaim as one of the most popular comic strips of all time. Dark Horse Deluxe is joining in the fun by creating a special series of limited-edition statues of vintage Peanuts characters. Inspired by 'syroco' sculptures that were popular in the 1930s and 40s, the ten new statuettes from Dark Horse are designed and manufactured in a style consistent with the earlier figures. Last month we offered the first statue in the series, Charlie Brown, and this month we feature the second statue-bossy, crabby and selfish Lucy Van Pelt. Produced in a limited edition of hand-numbered copies, the figure is fully painted and ready to display.
