Acme X-Ray, published as a giclee on paper, is inspired by 'Dynamite Diagnosis,' a limited-edition sericel produced in 1993 by Warner Bros. Animation Art. The character setup was originally created in-house by Warner Bros. animators working within their Classic Animation department. The background was originally rendered by veteran background painter, Hector Martinez, who, in addition to the Looney Tunes, has also worked on the Batman and Superman animated series. The details - Bugs' and Daffy's diplomas from Acme University and Quack University, respectfully, and Taz's look of shock of the x-ray that reveals a lit stick of dynamite inside his stomach - bring to life the inspired lunacy of Warners' Looney Tunes. This line is presented as tributes to the great masters of horror fiction, depicting the visceral fear created the greatest writers of the genre. Ghastly Graves will be a continuing collection of horrific statues, as we start things off with our premier edition, Shelley's Creation. This figure gives life to the vision of terror created by Mary Shelley, in her 1818 novel, Frankenstein. Stitches pattern his second-hand flesh as this brutal beast walks among the dead, lumbering through a graveyard in search of unknowns. Every Ghastly Graves edition includes hyper detailed sculpting, nauseating colors, and a gravestone tribute to the author, including an epitaph quoting directly from the book and etched forever into statue. Look for future releases from horror favorites, Bram Stoker, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Oscar Wilde, among others. This statue stands 13 1/4' tall and is produced in a limited, numbered edition. Joining the two main robot characters in the line of 1:1 scale model kits is the third Interceptor Doll, PEST-X! After he resigned from Maazu Pharmaceuticals, inventor Furuyashiki moved to America and created the advanced Pest-X Interceptor Doll. Unleashed upon the world, the new Doll considers Combat-san its enemy and employs a transforming motorcycle. Unlike the cute Hoihoi-San, Pest-X wears a striking leather-inspired black outfit complete with silver zippers, thigh-high boots, and fingerless gloves. Her face is covered by a long white scarf while her bright red hair is held in place by an intricate mechanical device. Ready for miniature battle, Pest-X wields dual knives that can be stored in sheaths on her back. While the little robot's huge blue eyes look cute, pull down her scarf to reveal a wicked grin.
