esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
SERIES PREMIERE All is dark. But all is not lost... Rose isn't special. She works in the Factory just like everyone else—a dark, sprawling monolithic structure that runs along the coast and cuts the world in two. All that's left now are desolate settlements that exist in its shadow, made up of submerged villages, derelict woods, and deadly swamps. No one knows what's left of the world on the other side... But when Rose's young daughter Ava is violently taken from their shanty town home a year before she is meant to join the work force, Rose will come face-to-face with the surreal, harrowing forces outside the Factory's walls—including a terrifying figure called the Scarecrow Queen, who has an offer: one last chance to save her daughter, in exchange for her soul. Part post-apocalyptic neo-Western, part southern gothic, part dark fantasy, CROWBOUND spins a heart-wrenching and violent story about mortality, holding onto hope in the darkest of worlds and the bonds that make us human. ??Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid’s Tale meets Cormac McCarthy's The Road with echoes of Kill Bill and Pan's Labyrinth when a noncompliant mother makes a dark pact with an ancient, violent Scarecrow Queen to stop a totalitarian government from taking her daughter. SHOT DOWN. HUNTED. OUT OF TIME.
THE NEW ONGOING TWO-FISTED WAR EPIC FROM REMENDER & ACUÑA STARTS HERE.
From the creative team of**_ New York Times_** bestselling author RICK REMENDER (DEADLY CLASS, Uncanny X-Force) and powerhouse DANIEL ACUÑA (Captain America, Black Panther)—the duo behind Marvel’s **Uncanny Avengers**—comes a savage, full-throttle wartime thriller where survival isn’t given…it’s taken.
Milton Shaw is a battle-hardened bomber pilot, flying missions over a war-torn world ruled by a ruthless empire. But when his plane is shot out of the sky, Milton wakes up behind enemy lines—in the smoldering ruins of a city he helped burn. And in less than 24 hours, his own side is dropping the big one to finish the job.
Now, injured, unarmed, and being hunted through enemy streets, Milton’s only shot at escape comes from the unlikeliest place: a grieving father and his son—civilians shattered by the same fascist regime that rules this land with an iron claw. Enemies by blood. Allies by circumstance. Together, they’ll have to fight their way out before the bomb drops and erases everything…and everyone.
Set in a brutal, fully painted world of anthropomorphic animals—think Inglourious Basterds meets Blacksad—ESCAPE is a gritty, bullet-riddled journey through war’s scorched aftermath. It’s about the violence we inflict, the souls we try to save, and the courage it takes to crawl out of fire.

This entertaining graphic novel from award winner Dan Brown will get kids talking, since it's all about the history of dealing with poop, pee, and dirty hands.Part of the Big Ideas That Changed the World graphic novel series, this full-color book is appropriate for the classroom and includes a timeline, endnotes, and a bibliography. In 1895, an engineer named George Waring was appointed New York City’s first commissioner of street cleaning. His task? To make a city with millions of people livable.Narrated by Waring, Keep It Clean! explores the concept of public health, which means ensuring clean water and adequate sewage disposal for everyone, and covers topics such as personal hygiene, sewer systems, and chemical water treatment.Acclaimed author-illustrator Don Brown takes readers on a journey through history and around the world, from Greek, Roman, and Aztec aqueducts and the dawn of bathing (including social public bathing in Japan and religious bathing ceremonies in Machu Picchu) to the invention of soap in the Middle East, the first use of flush toilets approximately 4,000 years ago, and the first toilets used in outer space—a Big Idea when you consider that early astronauts on Apollo 11 had none!Full of facts and colorful historical figures, Brown chronicles both historical mishaps—like rivers full of human waste and King Henry VI’s notorious basement of poop—and monumental scientific breakthroughs including Louis Pasteur and Robert Koch’s discovery of the link between microbes (germs) and disease.Brown also highlights how social classes became divided not only by wealth and culture but also by smell, and calls attention to modern-day health crises.Today, nearly two billion people around the world live without clean water and about 3.6 billion people—nearly half of the world’s population—live without proper sanitation. Breaking down concepts in an accessible, kid-friendly way, this nonfiction graphic novel shows why “keeping it clean” is vitally important whether it’s a city, town, home, or person.Big Ideas That Changed the World is a graphic novel series that celebrates the hard-won succession of ideas that ultimately changed the world. Humor, drama, and art unite to tell the story of events, discoveries, and ingenuity over time that led humans to come up with a big idea and then make it come true.More from the Big Ideas That Changed the World series:Rocket to the Moon! The first compendium asked the question, what happened to Elisa Cameron? This oversized comics collection has the answers. Also, read the reimagined relaunch of Dark Horse’s spectral avenger, Ghost!Elisa Cameron is dead—or is she? Having spent an after-lifetime trying to reconstruct the events that lead to her death, Ghost finally has the answers that she fought so hard to uncover. Chris Warner is an American comic book writer, artist, and editor best known for his contributions to Dark Horse Comics. He is also known for his occasional work for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics.Kelly Sue DeConnick is the Eisner Award-nominated writer of Bitch Planet (Image), Pretty Deadly (Image), Captain Marvel (Marvel) and Osborn (Marvel) and got her start in the comics industry adapting Japanese and Korean comics into English. Five years and more than ten thousand pages of adaptation later, she transitioned to American comics with 30 Days of Night: Eben and Stella for Steve Niles and IDW. Work for Image, Boom, Oni, Humanoids, Dark Horse, DC, Vertigo and Marvel soon followed. Today DeConnick is best known for surprise hits like Carol Danvers's rebranding as Captain Marvel and the Eisner-nominated mythological western Pretty Deadly, the latter co-created with artist Emma Ríos. DeConnick's most recent venture, the sci-fi kidney-punch called Bitch Planet, co-created with Valentine De Landro, launched to rave reviews in December 2014. DeConnick lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, Matt Fraction, and their two children.Christopher Sebela is a two-time Eisner nominated writer of creator-owned comics such as Shanghai Red, Crowded, House Amok, High Crimes, We(l)come Back, Heartthrob, Dead Letters and properties like Captain Marvel, Fantastic Four, Aliens vs. Predator, Escape from New York, Kiss/Vampirella and other stuff. Sadly he has also become fairly well known as the experiencer and chronicler of a month spent living in a clown motel. The less said about this, the better.Amongst other things, he is a graphic designer, a smoker, queer, bearded, on brain medication, in deep want of an army of dogs and forever in search of caffeine. He was born in Chicago, lived in Kansas City and is currently residing in Portland, Oregon. He is not writing about himself in the third person, that would be weird. He's pretty sure he has you all totally fooled.Adam Hughes is an American comics artist and illustrator most commonly known for his stylized renderings of women; super heroines, damsels in distress, figures in fantasy. About the time Adam began making waves in art circles and his artwork really began to be noticed, the term "Good Girl Art" had been coined, and it best describes exactly what Adam does. He is considered by many to be one of a new generation of Good Girl artists inspired by Petty, Vargas and Elvgren. He is well known for his cover work on titles such as Wonder Woman and Catwoman.Phil Noto, a former Disney animator who worked on films including The Lion King and Pocahontas, started in comics with DC’s Birds of Prey and Jonah Hex, and DC/Wildstorm’s Danger Girl. For Marvel, he has worked on titles ranging from Black Widow to Uncanny X-Force, and he explored the Star Wars galaxy with Chewbacca and Poe Dameron. Also an accomplished painter, Noto has been exhibited in solo shows in New York, Los Angeles and Paris.

Growing up in the woods, attending 4-H camp in the summers, and creating comics about supernatural queer characters have all led to her feeling right at home with the Lumberjanes! She's done various short comics for series like Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors; her own series, Supercakes; and upcoming graphic novel, Roadkill Witch. When not making comics, she loves to cook, travel and explore!Gus Allen is co-creator and original illustrator of the Lumberjanes series. Any rumors you may have heard about him such as "he's not real", "he's just 3 possums stacked on top of each other in a trench coat" and "he's actually really nice when you get to know him" are patently false. He was last seen being a very normal human person in Richmond, VA (which does coincidentally have a large possum population).
