Appearing for the first time in a sitting pose, CELESTIA 'The Eternal Forest's Chanting' is a regal reclining beauty. Leaning on her left arm with her legs tucked beneath her, the elf maiden holds an open book on her lap. Celestia's skimpy clothing leaves little to the imagination, and shows off her well-proportioned body. Her short skirt was specially crafted with translucent plastic covered in thin layers of paint to create a nearly transparent effect, further adding to her ethereal look. Celestia's book is removable, and she sits upon an included green flocked base. She also comes with Lassi the popular 'Spirit King' in an all new sculpt. Another member of the Japanese 'Shining' series of games, Shining Force Feather is a turn-based tactical role-playing game from Flight-Plan and Sega available exclusively on the Nintendo DS. The game features character designs by Japan's renowned illustrator Ito-Noizi (best known for his work on Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan No Shana). The first Shining Force Feather character brought to life is ALFIN UMBRIO, a curious young artificial life form. No one knows exactly why, but Alfin Umbrio is remarkably lively and curious for an artificial intelligence. Her inquisitive nature is captured perfectly in this new Ani*Statue. The pretty girl sits atop a rocky pillar base, reaching out to touch something that has caught her attention. Alfin wears a remarkably detailed dress with flowing lifelike 'fabric,' lots of frills, and a matching headband, shoes, and stockings. The black dress and accessories are decorated with purple highlights, and intricately sculpted purple roses adorn her chest, arms, and shoes. Alfin's long purple hair spreads out behind her in dynamic and natural movement, and her soft face really captures the character's sweet spirit. Boldly Go! When you make a movie based on one of the most beloved and admired entertainment franchises of all time, every detail matters. In the case of J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, some amazing concepts were considered before the release, right down to the movie poster itself. Quantum Mechanix offers some of those amazing movie poster concepts in thematic sets of four 18' x 24' prints. This first set focuses on retro, WPA-style themes that were explored early on, when the movie's release date was still scheduled for December 2008. Based on an original illustration by Tony, Blanc is gorgeous in her tiny two piece swimsuit that leaves little to the imagination. Its deep purple color really stands out from the rest of her body, and nicely offsets her pale hair and sparkling pink eyes. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The latest manga masterpiece (and soon to be anime series) from Clamp is Kobato. This original tale tells the story of the titular heroine KOBATO HANATO, a mysterious young girl on a mission to relieve the suffering and pain of others. Possessing a magical flask that can heal heartache, Kobato is very eager to help as many people as she can. Sadly, she is forbidden to fall in love with any of her 'patients,' a restriction which might just get in her way as the story progresses. Kobato is resplendent in her Japanese kimono, based off of Clamp's cover for Mokona's 'Mokona no Okimono Kimono' book. The long flowing robe is bright orange with a multi-color vegetation pattern along the hem. Around Kobato's waist is a large green sash decorated with pink and white flowers, and emerging from below the kimono is a white garment fringed in blue, which matches her cap and traditional Japanese style umbrella. Her pretty face has a wide-eyed surprised expression and is framed by brown hair that drapes down her back to about knee-level. Kobato's right hand rests upon a golden bird cage housing her companion Ioryogi in his stuffed toy dog form; the bottom of the cage opens so you can remove him. The young girl and the cage fit perfectly on the included cloud display base. Sculpted by Kouei Matsumoto, Kobato stands approximately 7 inches tall.
