Kelly Thompson has a degree in sequential art from the Savannah College of Art & Design and wrote the cult hit Jem and the Holograms for IDW. She published her first graphic novel, Heart in a Box, with Dark Horse in 2015 and has written two novels: Storykiller (2014) and The Girl Who Would Be King (2012). Thompson debuted at Marvel in 2015, co-writing Captain Marvel & the Carol Corps and A-Force. She has since made a name for herself on such books as Hawkeye, West Coast Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man, Deadpool and the Rogue-and-Gambit-starring Mr. and Mrs. X. Thompson’s Black Widow won the 2021 Eisner Award for best new series, and her Infinity Comic collaboration with Gurihiru, It’s Jeff! is a delight.Marcio Takara has been drawing for companies like Marvel Comics, Image Comics, Boom! After beginning his writing career on DC horror titles, David Michelinie moved to Marvel. He and co-writer/inker Bob Layton established Iron Man’s battle with alcoholism, use of specialized armor variants and vendetta against Doctor Doom, as well as other aspects of the character that endure to this day. Leon broke into comics in 1992 with Dark Horse’s Robocop: Prime Suspect and followed this inaugural run with Static from Milestone Comics, a series which was later developed into the popular animated television show, Static Shock. After graduating in 1994, Leon continued working on some of the most popular characters in the comics world and lent his striking illustrations to numerous publishers in the field — including Marvel Comics’ New X-Men, The Further Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix, Avengers: The Ultron Imperative, Captain America, Daredevil, Marvel Shadows and Light, Moon Knight and Thor. But he is best known for his critically acclaimed vision of a reimagined Marvel Universe in the maxi-series Earth-X. Leon contributed artwork for the Superman Returns style guide and several Superman children’s books for Meredith Books. He also illustrated most of the licensing artwork for the blockbuster movie Batman Begins and worked on the critically acclaimed The Winter Men with writer Brett Lewis for Wildstorm/DC Comics.An alumnus of the Joe Kubert School, artist Tom Raney gained prominence at Marvel with short runs on Uncanny X-Men and Warlock Chronicles; Wildstorm, where he helped introduce the Stormwatch characters who became the Authority; and DC, where he helped revamp the Outsiders. Kelly Thompson has a degree in sequential art from the Savannah College of Art & Design and wrote the cult hit Jem and the Holograms for IDW.
