Among the best of the many Western series from TV's Golden Era of the 1950s, Wanted: Dead or Alive was introduced as a pilot in 1958 and quickly gained notoriety. The series chronicled the adventures of bounty-hunter Josh Randall (Steve McQueen) as he pursued some of the West's most notorious villains - alive if possible, but dead if necessary. Though not bound to honor the edicts of the law, Josh adhered to a personal code of honor, like many other lone cowboy heroes of the era. He toted a specially designed weapon which he affectionately referred to as his 'Mare's Laig' - a .40 gauge sawed-off carbine. In 94 episodes over three seasons, Wanted: Dead or Alive became one of television's most beloved Westerns. Featuring a faux bronze finish, this 1/3-scale premium polystone casting is made from the finest materials possible. Dark Horse continues its celebration of Charles Schulz's masterpiece, Peanuts, with limited-edition 8' flocked vinyl Snoopy figures in a rainbow of contemporary colors. Peanuts Worldwide is letting us go back to the original look of the character, but with a modern spin forward the main characters in a special, limited-edition series of colors. They are seldom if ever depicted this way, but if we do say so ourselves, they came through with flying colors. The black parts of Snoopy (ears, nose, etc.) will be unflocked black vinyl. The rest of him will be flocked in a pastel hue. Limited to only the noted edition sizes, this new take on Snoopy is a rare opportunity to secure a genuine collector's item.
