Hitoshi Iwaaki, l’autore di KISEIJU, L’OSPITE INDESIDERATO e LA TERRA DI TANABATA, narra in questa serie le avventure del giovane Eumenes, l’uomo che diventerà uno strettissimo collaboratore di Alessandro il Grande. Questa serie ha conseguito nel 2010 il Grand Prize, nella divisione manga, in occasione del 14° Japan Media Arts Festival e nel 2012 il Grand Prize al 16° Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize.
