esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

John Romita Sr is as synonymous with Marvel as is Stan Lee. Stan was definitely the writer and visionary of the Marvel Universe, but Jazzy John was the ultimate catcher to all of Stan's pitches. Arguably the most important contributor to Marvel canon with Jack Kirby, and arguably the definitive Spider-Man artist, John Romita has left his mark creating, defining and/or designing some of Marvel's most, well, marvelous characters. From being (in our humble opinion) the definitive Spider-Man artist to helping design many of Marvel's major characters from Wolverine and the Punisher to Spider-Woman, The Kingpin and so many more. And, though it was Stan Lee and Steve Ditko who co-created Spider-Man and Peter Parker, and helped us love the boy with the problems we all grew up with, it was Jazzy John who allowed Peter to grow up and have the same problems many had growing up, and glamorized Peter Parker and rounded out his stable of characters from Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborne, and who also gave us the unbelievable entrance by Mary Jane Watson, showing us just how Peter had hit the jackpot! And John Romita Jr. has also created a rich body of work that few can follow in his feet. Having outgrown the shadow of his father early in his career, John Romita Jr. has shown the world why he is 'Mr. Marvel'. From his early days working with Bob Layton on the Iron Man issues featuring the controversial issues of Tony Stark's alcoholism, to his jump to stardom in the early '90's on the Uncanny X-Men (almost a decade after his first stint on the Uncanny X-Men with Chris Claremont), to his unbelievable work on Daredevil: Man Without Fear with Frank Miller and Al Williamson, John proved that he was one of only a few artists who can shine working with a master such as Frank Miller. Moving in to the new millennium, John's work on Thor was nothing short of amazing, as well as working on Daredevil with Ann Nocenti and Al Williamson. But nothing has been more tailor made for John Jr's art than Marvel's flagship title - Spider-Man! His return on Peter Parker, Spider-Man proved that he was Marvel's best choice for a Spider-Man artist, and when Joe Michael Straczynski took hold of Marvel's flagship title, it was John Jr's art that made the great stories shine as well as they did! One thing that's kept John's art fresh is his ability to move from character to character. It definitely is bitter sweet to see John run around the Marvel Universe on characters such as The Eternals (with Neil Gaiman), proving that once again, John Jr. is the artists artist who can tackle such great projects, and even on his run on the World War Hulk (yes, Hulk does indeed Smash!), one is mesmerized by his incredible artwork. What's amazing is, that as of this writing, John Romita Jr. will be returning to Amazing Spider-Man #568, and this fan, Nick Barrucci, President of Dynamic Forces, feels the excitement and energy to his return. These are the things that we live for in comics. It's rare to know when a series is going to be great because a great artist is working on it. We are fortunate to be on the ground floor, again, but the anticipation is something that will only be quenched with the first read of a series that will be great. The Romitas are one of the few royal families in comics. If you haven't had a chance to fully appreciate their work, here's your chance. It's a fun ride. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have in putting this book together! With an introduction by Alex Ross and an afterword by Stan 'The Man' Lee, this hard cover book is perfect for every Spider-Man fan young and old! (immagine) Categoria: Books: novel/sci fi/horror

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese Import! The 4-Leaves 'Legends Girls' line-up from Kotobukiya focusing on the 'eternal heroines' of Japanese manga and anime continues with another pretty girl from Sister Princess, the long-running bishoujo series consisting of light novels, manga, video games, and anime. After Kaho, the 'sister type' comes SAKUYA SWIMSUIT VERSION, the emotionally fragile -- and easily flustered -- modern teenager. Originally released as a garage kit in 2002, the classic Sister Princess swimsuit-clad beauty is back, fully painted and ready for you to display! Based on an original character illustration, Sakuya is ready for an exciting day at the beach wearing a tiny bikini with a huge revolver strapped to her hip. Her confident manner is apparent in her pose, flipping back her long hair and balancing on the toes of one foot, which also serves to emphasize her pretty legs. Updated for this new release, Sakuya's sculpt is top-notch, with intricate detailing on the young lady's necklace and weapon. The most difficult thing about the original garage kit was getting the paint just right, but Kotobukiya's master painters have made that a thing of the past. Sakuya's creamy skin tone is perfectly offset by her peach and orange bikini, brown belt and hair, and bright blue eyes. Standing 7' tall (1/8-scale), Sakuya was sculpted by Takahiro Ayase and comes fully assembled. Statue SRP: $59.99 / Available in MARCH (immagine) Categoria: Toys and models

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Created in 1941 by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby to represent opposition to Nazi Germany, CAPTAIN AMERICA combined superhero stories with patriotism and the fight against oppression in the world. From humble beginnings as a physically weak young man, Steve Rogers attempted to join the United States military service to combat the threat in Europe. Recruited into a secret 'Super-Soldier' program, Rogers was given a serum and radiation that transformed him into a paragon of human athleticism. With a red, white, and blue costume and special aerodynamic shield, Captain America burst onto the superhero scene. Throughout his illustrious career Rogers would team up with other heroes and fight alongside the Avengers on multiple occasions. Though he was thought dead at the end of the Civil War storyline, the original Captain America was displaced in time and is destined to return as a member of the Avengers Reborn with Thor and Iron Man! The patriotic American super soldier stands triumphant on the field of battle, a bastion of freedom and democracy standing firm while raising his iconic shield over his head. His uniform and signature look are recreated down to the last detail, with special emphasis paid to the sculpting of Captain America's impressive musculature and the scales of his armored shirt. Cap's classic look is comprised of vivid red, white, and blue, with subtler accents of facial skin tone, and dark leather boots and belt pouches with metallic fasteners. You can display Captain America in two different ways according to your preferences, utilizing either of his included heads: the traditional winged look and World War II D-Day helmet variant! Captain America stands approximately 12 1/2' inches tall (1/6th-scale), with one foot on a rocky stone base decorated with the classic Avengers 'A' logo. The deluxe motif base connects to those of the other members of the Avengers Reborn series, Thor and Iron Man. Sculpted by master artist Junnosuke Abe, Captain America is constructed of high-quality cold cast porcelain and is a limited, numbered edition.
