esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

As a young creator at Marvel Comics, Joe Harris launched the cult-classic Spider-Man spinoff series, Slingers, and wrote myriad other titles including Bishop: The Last X-Man. He has written for all major comics publishers and franchises including X-Men, Spider-Man, Batman, and others. He conceived and co-wrote the screenplay for the hit Sony Pictures film Darkness Falls and the politically themed slasher movie The Tripper before returning to comics and launching creator-owned properties that brought his experiences in publishing and moviemaking together. His supernatural title Ghost Projekt was published by Oni Press. Called the “Best Miniseries” of 2010 by Wizard and lauded by Ain’t It Cool News as “one of the finest” of the year, the tense tale of ghosts, gambits, and Cold War-era secrets was adapted for television by SyFy.Steve Rolston can be found drawing comics under the floorboards of an abandoned weapons facility in Vancouver, Canada. According to declassified documents, his first official mission was as the original artist on the Eisner Award–winning spy comic Queen & Country. In the decade that followed, his art skills were deployed on a variety of comics such as Pounded, Mek, The Escapists, Degrassi, Emiko Superstar, and his own graphic novel, One Bad Day.

So you've landed the dream job and the dream boyfriend. Everything should be perfect . . . right?Ben Cook seems to have it all. An awesome new cooking job at Cochon Doré, a steady writing gig, amazing roommates, and—best of all—super-dreamy boyfriend, Liam. Even better, reservations at the restaurant have skyrocketed thanks to Ben's recent viral article, and the staff is buzzing with excitement. When Ben can't quite figure out the perfect Halloween couples costume or the perfect Christmas plans, and Liam gets more and more overwhelmed with all the new responsibilities at Cochon, the new couple starts to grow distant rather than rely on each other. When pressure mounts and signals get crossed, will Ben and Liam be able to overcome their anxieties and learn that striving for love is better than striving for perfection?Bringing back all the steamy recipes and steamy romance, join Ben and Liam in Chef's Kiss Again, the much-anticipated sequel to Alex Award–winning and Eisner- and GLAAD-nominated Chef's Kiss. When Lola discovers she might have a much stronger connection with the malevolent force inhabiting the skeleton than she could ever imagine possible, it's up to Jimmy to inspire them to face certain danger and embrace the future rather than run from their traumatic pasts.Aaron Campbell (Hellblazer), Tim Seeley (Inglorious X-Force), and Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night) present a Halloween story with the heart and soul of a classic Spielberg film alongside all the spills, chills, and horrifying thrills of everyone’s favorite 1980s slasher movies!

This might be Lola and Jimmy’s last Halloween. Not because they’re aging out at 12-years-old...there's a 12-foot-tall lawn skeleton on a rampage in their neighborhood! Lola is a triple threat of social suicide: goth girl, new kid, and outspoken feminist. Meanwhile, Jimmy is a bookish, quiet, bullied kid trying to enjoy his favorite holiday between cancer treatments. When Lola discovers she might have a much stronger connection with the malevolent force inhabiting the skeleton than she could ever imagine possible, it's up to Jimmy to inspire them to face certain danger and embrace the future rather than run from their traumatic pasts. Aaron Campbell (Hellblazer), Tim Seeley (Inglorious X-Force), and Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night) present a Halloween story with the heart and soul of a classic Spielberg film alongside all the spills, chills, and horrifying thrills of everyone’s favorite 1980s slasher movies!

Jack Kirby’s comic strip masterpiece is presented in an archival version featuring the complete dailies from Sky Masters of the Space Force. Veteran scripters Dick and Dave Wood provided these late-1950s space/action adventure stories starring Sky Masters of the Space Force and his gang of intrepid followers which closely resemble Kirby’s work on Challengers of the Unknown (which was being published at the same time). Kirby’s artwork is embellished by Wallace Wood and later by Marvel inker extraordinaire Dick Ayers. Sky Masters was created at the beginning of the space race — when who would get into space and to the moon first —was a national obsession. The strip takes place in the not to distant future where the United States sends men into space but hasn’t ventured much further yet. The series in clearly anchored in the late 1950s/early1960s so it serves as a highly stylized period piece that still holds up very nicely. The material used in this archival edition ranges from original art, to press proofs, to tear sheets, and boasts the best reproduction of the strip ever. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERA long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. . . .  A thrilling new adventure set between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, and—for the first time ever—written entirely from Luke Skywalker’s first-person point of view.Luke Skywalker’s game-changing destruction of the Death Star has made him not only a hero of the Rebel Alliance but a valuable asset in the ongoing battle against the Empire. Though he’s a long way from mastering the power of the Force, there’s no denying his phenomenal skills as a pilot—and in the eyes of Rebel leaders Princess Leia Organa and Admiral Ackbar, there’s no one better qualified to carry out a daring rescue mission crucial to the Alliance cause.  A brilliant alien cryptographer renowned for her ability to breach even the most advanced communications systems is being detained by Imperial agents determined to exploit her exceptional talents for the Empire’s purposes. But the prospective spy’s sympathies lie with the Rebels, and she’s willing to join their effort in exchange for being reunited with her family. It’s an opportunity to gain a critical edge against the Empire that’s too precious to pass up. It’s also a job that demands the element of surprise. So Luke and the ever-resourceful droid R2-D2 swap their trusty X-wing fighter for a sleek space yacht piloted by brash recruit Nakari Kelen, daughter of a biotech mogul, who’s got a score of her own to settle with the Empire.  Challenged by ruthless Imperial bodyguards, death-dealing enemy battleships, merciless bounty hunters, and monstrous brain-eating parasites, Luke plunges head-on into a high-stakes espionage operation that will push his abilities as a Rebel fighter and would-be Jedi to the limit. If ever he needed the wisdom of Obi-Wan Kenobi to shepherd him through danger, it’s now. But Luke will have to rely on himself, his friends, and his own burgeoning relationship with the Force to survive.Praise for Heir to the Jedi  “Utterly compelling . . . [The novel] plants readers in Luke Skywalker’s boots in the early days of his heroism, during the weeks after he blew up the Death Star.â€â€”New York Daily News  “An excellent book with rich characters, bubbling humor and poignant emotion.â€â€”Roqoo Depot  “Entertaining . . . action-packed . . . suspenseful.â€â€”New York Journal of Books  “Great . . . [an] entertaining introduction into understanding Luke’s character . . . There are moments in The Empire Strikes Back that I now point to and say, ‘I understand how he got there,’ and it’s because of this novel.â€â€”The Wookiee Gunner  “Pure Star Wars . . . From shoot-outs to narrow escapes, I could practically hear John Williams’s score playing in my head—a credit to Kevin Hearne, to be sure.â€â€”Coffee with Kenobi  “A must-read for fans . . . I left with a much closer understanding of who Luke Skywalker is, and an even deeper admiration for the character. All things are connected in the Force, and I feel more connected to Luke after reading Heir to the Jedi.â€â€”Comicbook
Kevin Hearne hugs trees, pets doggies, and rocks out to heavy metal. He also thinks tacos are a pretty nifty idea. He is the New York Times bestselling author of The Iron Druid Chronicles, the Ink & Sigil series, and the Seven Kennings series, and is co-author of The Tales of Pell with Delilah S. Dawson.

In 1958, established Argentine comics creators Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Alberto Breccia worked together on their first significant series. In Sherlock Time, retiree Julio Luna buys a beautiful home for much too good a deal. There have been strange disappearances, but the trap is far stranger than a simple haunting in San Isidro. Fortunately for Luna, a mysterious man saves him in the nick of … Sherlock Time! The two team up, outwitting aliens, solving seemingly-supernatural crimes, and investigating cursed objects. These episodic adventures, ranging from SF to horror to mystery, ran concurrently with Oesterheld's legendary comics serial The Eternaut, and set the stage for their masterpiece, Mort Cinder. Of Sherlock Time, Argentine author Juan Sasturain (who also wrote Perramus, which Breccia would go on to draw) concluded: "rarely has a story made us so fully happy."
