esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Acclaimed author and screenwriter Benjamin Percy broke into comics in 2014 with a two-issue Batman story arc in Detective Comics. He is also known for his work on Nightwing, Green Arrow and Teen Titans for DC Comics, and James Bond: Black Box for Dynamite Entertainment. Percy wrote two seasons of Marvel’s Wolverine podcast series: Wolverine: The Long Night, which was listed as one of the top fifteen podcasts of the year by Apple and won the iHeart Radio Award for best scripted podcast in 2018, and Wolverine: The Lost Trail. In print, he was a key contributor to the X-Men’s Krakoan Era as writer of X-Force and Wolverine. Percy blazed a new trail for the Spirit of Vengeance with his deliciously dark revival of Ghost Rider and pitted some of Marvel’s greatest heroes against the iconic movie hunters, the Predators. After the mash-up concept Hellverine proved a smash hit in Percy’s Wolverine/Ghost Rider: Weapons of Vengeance crossover, the writer launched a Hellverine limited series followed by an ongoing series — with Wolverine’s son, Akihiro, assuming the mantle. And Percy was the ideal choice to unite the ultimate odd couple in the pages of Deadpool/Wolverine.Artist David Marquez began his career fresh out of college as an animator on Warner Independent Pictures’ 2006 film A Scanner Darkly. He made his comics debut in 2010 with the graphic novel Syndrome, published by Archaia Entertainment, for which he received a Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award nomination. He has since gone on to draw Secret Warriors, Fantastic Four: Season One, Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, All-New X-Men and Invincible Iron Man for Marvel. The event series Civil War II established him as one of the House of Ideas’ biggest artistic superstars.

Yet, new victims keep sliding into her DMs, and the worst of New York’s dating pool are laying their heads on the proverbial chopping block. What Syd can’t anticipate, though, are the rather gruesome changes her own prey will go through after she’s drained them of life. NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERA long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. . . .  A thrilling new adventure set between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, and—for the first time ever—written entirely from Luke Skywalker’s first-person point of view.Luke Skywalker’s game-changing destruction of the Death Star has made him not only a hero of the Rebel Alliance but a valuable asset in the ongoing battle against the Empire. Though he’s a long way from mastering the power of the Force, there’s no denying his phenomenal skills as a pilot—and in the eyes of Rebel leaders Princess Leia Organa and Admiral Ackbar, there’s no one better qualified to carry out a daring rescue mission crucial to the Alliance cause.  A brilliant alien cryptographer renowned for her ability to breach even the most advanced communications systems is being detained by Imperial agents determined to exploit her exceptional talents for the Empire’s purposes. But the prospective spy’s sympathies lie with the Rebels, and she’s willing to join their effort in exchange for being reunited with her family. It’s an opportunity to gain a critical edge against the Empire that’s too precious to pass up. It’s also a job that demands the element of surprise. So Luke and the ever-resourceful droid R2-D2 swap their trusty X-wing fighter for a sleek space yacht piloted by brash recruit Nakari Kelen, daughter of a biotech mogul, who’s got a score of her own to settle with the Empire.  Challenged by ruthless Imperial bodyguards, death-dealing enemy battleships, merciless bounty hunters, and monstrous brain-eating parasites, Luke plunges head-on into a high-stakes espionage operation that will push his abilities as a Rebel fighter and would-be Jedi to the limit. If ever he needed the wisdom of Obi-Wan Kenobi to shepherd him through danger, it’s now. But Luke will have to rely on himself, his friends, and his own burgeoning relationship with the Force to survive.Praise for Heir to the Jedi  “Utterly compelling . . . [The novel] plants readers in Luke Skywalker’s boots in the early days of his heroism, during the weeks after he blew up the Death Star.â€â€”New York Daily News  “An excellent book with rich characters, bubbling humor and poignant emotion.â€â€”Roqoo Depot  “Entertaining . . . action-packed . . . suspenseful.â€â€”New York Journal of Books  “Great . . . [an] entertaining introduction into understanding Luke’s character . . . There are moments in The Empire Strikes Back that I now point to and say, ‘I understand how he got there,’ and it’s because of this novel.â€â€”The Wookiee Gunner  “Pure Star Wars . . . From shoot-outs to narrow escapes, I could practically hear John Williams’s score playing in my head—a credit to Kevin Hearne, to be sure.â€â€”Coffee with Kenobi  “A must-read for fans . . . I left with a much closer understanding of who Luke Skywalker is, and an even deeper admiration for the character. All things are connected in the Force, and I feel more connected to Luke after reading Heir to the Jedi.â€â€”Comicbook

CBC #48 headlines the superb artistry of Brent Anderson in a comprehensive interview, where his fanzine and early alt-comics are discussed, as well as his start as a pro in the ill-fated Xanadu movie adaptation; early success with Ka-Zar; X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills graphic novel work; Somerset Holmes and Strikeforce: Morituri; and even greater notice as collaborator (with Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross) on the Astro City series, as well as his current projects. We also talk with Warren magazine horror comics writer Bruce Bezaire, scripter of the terrifying “Night of the Jackass” series. CBC also continues its conversation with Rick Altergott about life as an alternative cartoonist and his latest Doofus adventures. Shaun Clancy digs into the history of the American Comics Group and its cloaked connection to DC Comics. And we also grok the outstanding retro approach of Blue Moon Comics with publisher Lloyd Smith (a.k.a. The Groovy Agent), as well as take a loving look at the incredible Filipino “Tagalog Komiks” of Nestor Redondo and Alfredo Alcala. And, par for the course, Hembeck tees off with another whole-in-one Dateline episode! Edited by Jon B. Cooke. (immagine)
