A hero in his homeland of Brazil and Japan where he competed in some of his most famous races, Senna's career included 41 victories, 65 pole positions, and three world championships. His legacy of philanthropy rivals that of his racing; only after his death behind the wheel during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix was it discovered that he had donated millions of dollars from his personal fortune to children's charities. Appearing as he did after winning the Brazil GP 1991, Senna stands triumphant with his right hand holding his trophy up in the air. The legendary driver wears his red Honda Nacional driving uniform, intricately detailed with every seam, crease, and sponsor patch. But the details go every further. After that grueling race, in which gear box trouble left him with only six functioning, Senna finished with a numb left arm, and even that is reflected in the statue! Sculpted by Koei Matsumoto and Shinya Akao, Senna's face features an amazingly realistic sculpt, and the Fine Art Statue has been officially approved by the driver's sister Viviane Senna. Senna stands 13 inches tall, and his special base is decorated with the Senna Foundation's 50th anniversary logo and serial number. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The latest manga masterpiece (and soon to be anime series) from Clamp is Kobato. This original tale tells the story of the titular heroine KOBATO HANATO, a mysterious young girl on a mission to relieve the suffering and pain of others. Possessing a magical flask that can heal heartache, Kobato is very eager to help as many people as she can. Sadly, she is forbidden to fall in love with any of her 'patients,' a restriction which might just get in her way as the story progresses. Kobato is resplendent in her Japanese kimono, based off of Clamp's cover for Mokona's 'Mokona no Okimono Kimono' book. The long flowing robe is bright orange with a multi-color vegetation pattern along the hem. Around Kobato's waist is a large green sash decorated with pink and white flowers, and emerging from below the kimono is a white garment fringed in blue, which matches her cap and traditional Japanese style umbrella. Her pretty face has a wide-eyed surprised expression and is framed by brown hair that drapes down her back to about knee-level. Kobato's right hand rests upon a golden bird cage housing her companion Ioryogi in his stuffed toy dog form; the bottom of the cage opens so you can remove him. The young girl and the cage fit perfectly on the included cloud display base. Sculpted by Kouei Matsumoto, Kobato stands approximately 7 inches tall. Born Piotr 'Peter' Rasputin, the mutant who would become an X-Man grew up on a struggling farm in the Soviet Union. His first comic book appearance took place in 1975's Giant-Size X-Men #1, when Professor Xavier visited the small farm to recruit Peter. At first denying his powers, the mutant revealed his true abilities when a runaway tractor threatened his sister. Transforming into a living steel form with vast strength and durability, Colossus would join the X-Men and serve with distinction, which of course meant lots of practice in the Danger Room. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. Inspired by Jim Lee's 1990's era X-Men, Colossus is a massive and unstoppable force. The massive mutant is posed triumphant on the field of battle, about to bring down his heavy fists to crush the last of his wrecked foes. With his powerful physique transformed into living metal, Colossus has a fantastic sculpt showing off each and every muscle wrapped in smooth, narrow bands. He wears his classic bright red and yellow costume that's decorated at the waist with a large red and black 'X' logo. Everywhere his 'skin' is exposed is bright metallic silver, except for his black hair, making Colossus very visually dynamic. But that's not all. You even have two cool options when it comes to displaying the X-Man as he comes with two interchangeable heads: the first is angry yet focused, while the second is a sheer mask of rage! Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the enormous Colossus stands over 15 inches tall!
