esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Dentist Robs Women of Teeth' -- 'Death Chair for Nice Old Man’ – ‘Mother Feeds Son Like Bird’The British newspaper clipping collection of egalitarian George Ives, collected between 1892 and 1949, ranged from murder and theories of crime to cricket scores. He was fascinated by the unusual, the gothic, the sexual, and the melodramatic. In this graphic novel, acclaimed cartoonist J. Webster Sharp shares some of the most bizarre stories from the archives of George Ives in silent comics form. With often shocking, visceral black and white artwork, the strangeness and eccentricity of the Edwardian era provides a backdrop for Sharp's own struggles with mental health. The Scrapbook of Life and Death is a fascinating, personal window into forgotten historical views of eccentric and socially transcendent and disturbing behaviors -- and their resonance in life today.Previously offered through other distributors. by (W) Yoshiharu Tsuge (CT) Ryan Holmberg; Mitsuhiro Asakawa
A revealing glimpse into the life and times of alt-manga’s most intriguing comics auteurTsuge Yoshiharu remains an elusive and highly influential character as he moves into the final phase of his career. A Nobody Artist features a number of loosely (and disputably) semiautobiographical vignettes often concerning a young cartoonist trying to make a go of it in the shifting manga market. True to form, Tsuge delivers much more than a straight accounting of a cartoonist’s life. Lust routinely distracts our young artists while older artists again and again provide a model for what not to do, or more likely, where a cartoonist’s life will lead you. Fleeting moments of domestic happiness are upset by bouts of self-doubt. As always, Tsuge’s art is succinct and glorious—a beautiful document of a changing Japan. This penultimate volume in Drawn and Quarterly’s complete collection of the manga-ka’s oeuvre collects richly-detailed and deeply human comics stories originally published between 1981 and 1985. Translated by prolific manga scholar and art historian Ryan Holmberg.
Mature
Yoshiharu Tsuge was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1937. Influenced by the realistic and gritty rental manga of Yoshihiro Tatsumi, he began making his own comics. He was also briefly recruited to assist Shigeru Mizuki during his explosion of popularity in the 60s. In 1968, working for Garo magazine, Tsuge published the ground-breaking story “Neji-shiki†(commonly called “Screw Style†for Western readers.) This story established Tsuge as not only an influential manga-ka but he also became a cultural touchstone in the changing Japanese art world. He is considered the originator and greatest practitioner of the “I-novel†method of comics-making. In 2005, Tsuge was nominated for the Best Album Award at Angouleme International and in 2017 he won the Japan Cartoonists Association Grand Award for Yume to tabi no sekai. Tsuge passed away in early 2026.

Gerry Duggan has become one of Marvel’s most influential writers, having first made an impression at the House of Ideas with a lengthy and always surprising Deadpool run alongside his frequent writing partner, Brian Posehn. Among Duggan’s solo credits are Nova, Hulk and multiple tie-ins to the Secret Wars event. He added Deadpool to the revamped roster of Uncanny Avengers and brought his unique blend of action and humor to All-New Guardians of the Galaxy, leading up to the cosmic event series Infinity Wars. Marauders and Cable established him as a vital part of the storytelling team for the Dawn of X era, a role he has cemented further by launching the blockbuster new X-Men title. Duggan’s earlier collaboration with artist Phil Noto — The Infinite Horizon, a reimagining of Homer’s The Odyssey in a dystopian future — earned an Eisner Award nomination for Best New Series.Growing up in England, Mark Buckingham always dreamed of drawing comics. In 1987, he inked the best-selling Death: The High Cost of Living by Neil Gaiman and Chris Bachalo. He went on to contribute to The Sandman, Hellblazer and Shade the Changing Man. Buckingham has been the regular artist on Batman: Shadow of the Bat, The Titans, Peter Parker: Spider-Man and Fables.

THE FUTURE IS A RIOT! In the footsteps of JUDGE DREDD, V FOR VENDETTA, and TANK GIRL, the first great milestone in 22nd-century science fiction is here! Written, illustrated, and hand-lettered by British comics virtuoso Joe Palmer (Time Before Time), DESTINATION KILL is powered by the thrum of a million gigawatts of nonstop visual firepower . . . as rendered by one of the most incendiary visual storytellers in comics today. The year is 2125, and the all-powerful corporation Overcon uses its robot workers to pour our drinks and dispense our meds, all while rebuilding London’s Central City into a hyper-modern megalopolis bolted together in its own image. But as Overcon prepares to celebrate the first year of its Paradise Loop—a superfast transatlantic train that connects the Central City to New York in under 60 minutes—an unwieldy army of displaced human workers floods the streets with weapons, plotting an attack at the anniversary gala. Enter: Gina Serene, a stressed-out, pill-popping police detective in desperate need of a vacation and her ex-partner turned P.I., Lance Wingman—who are now the only thing standing between Overcon’s skyscraper-sized fist and the worker uprising that threatens to bring Britain's capital crashing down around them.Collecting Destination Kill #1–4, this oversized, deluxe hardcover also features development art from creator Joe Palmer and a variant cover gallery including work from Riley Rossmo, Ronald Wimberly, James Harren, Dani, and more!
