esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

In Pictopia is the legendary comic created in 1986, written by the era's most adventurous mainstream comics writer and drawn by a bevy of indie cartoonists-helmed by Don Simpson, with Mike Kazaleh, Pete Poplaski, and Eric Vincent. Presented here for the first time, scanned from the original line art and full-color painted boards, in an appropriately oversized format. Pictopia is the allegorical city inhabited by old, forgotten, but once famous and iconic comics characters, now considered pitiable has-beens by the popular new comics characters who are cheerfully and inevitably taking their places in the pop culture pantheon of celebrity. It is both a paean to timeless, beloved comics characters and a scathing critique of the then-contemporary comics sub-culture. (immagine) Categoria: Magazines

Edited by Gary Groth, Michael Dean & Kristy Valenti The Comics Journal has been, for over 30 years, the standard bearer of critical inquiry, discrimination, debate, and serious discussion of comics as art. TCJ provides its readers with an eclectic mix of journalism, commentary, interviews, reprints of classic comics and newspaper strips, historical essays, and reviews of contemporary work on a regular basis. Previously published as a bi-monthly magazine, The Comics Journal has adapted to the digital revolution by expanding its size, and recasting itself as a semi-annual book. Not only will it feature intellectually stimulating content - Gary Groth interviews The Book of Genesis Illustrated's R. Crumb, who also participates in a discussion with Biblical and comics commentators about the Bible and his Genesis adaptation; the art form's top cartoonists collaborate on an exclusive 'exquisite corpse' graphic novel; Joe Sacco talks politics and comics in a critical roundtable on his Footnotes in Gaza; Tim Kreider climbs the mountain that is the work and mind of Cerebus-creator Dave Sim; and much more - it will be designed as an objet d'art, designed by Eisner-Award-nominee Adam Grano.
