esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
by Ray Harryhausen, Tony Dalton; Foreward by Peter Jackson Now available in paperback, The Art of Ray Harryhausen focuses on the lifetime of work that Harryhausen has preserved, much of which is published here for he first time. His collection includes preliminary sketches, elaborate drawings of key scenes, carefully plotted storyboards, and the models that were used in films. Harryhausen begins by exploring his early work and influences, then takes readers through projects divided by theme - fairy tales, dinosaurs and aliens, for example. This body of work lets readers discover how the artist develops an idea from his imagination to the breathtaking character that appears on the screen. (immagine) Categoria: Books: novel/sci fi/horror

by Ray Harryhausen & Tony Dalton This lavishly illustrated tribute to stop-motion model animation - the technique behind special effects for more than half a century - traces the history of the genre through the eyes of the industry's greatest pioneer. From crude model animations in the 1890s through the first animated feature and into the computer age, Ray Harryhausen and his co-author, Tony Dalton, reveal the patience and ingenuity of animators and explain the development of the technology. Never-before-published stills and photos of the artists at work, sketches and storyboards for projects both realized and abandoned, and a host of recently unearthed memorabilia make A Century of Stop-Motion Animation a must-have for all fans of animation and film.
