esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Filled with ennui, angst, and vivid dreams, Penny proves that being a cat is more profound than we once thought. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Schoolyard scuffles. Seedy matinees. Run-ins with inept riot cops. Representation Immobilized is an unflinching look through the smudged lenses of Rick Trembles' glasses at his early years in Montreal. After a midnight move from a crumbling apartment Trembles gradually started bringing all his childhood belongings back, bit by bit, which started triggering memories from his past. Worried about them fading from memory as time wore on, he took the opportunity to document them before they could vanish. One of his last entries in this series questioned the nature of selective memory, why certain inanities from one's past might resonate more than others/ (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Why did Jane Austen struggle to write for five years before her first novel was ever published? How did Edith Maude Eaton's writing change the narrative around Chinese immigrant workers in North America? Why did the Brontë sisters choose to write under male pennames, and Anne Lister write her personal diaries in code? Learn about women writers from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries, from familiar favorites to those who have undeservedly fallen into obscurity, and their often untold histories, including: o The forgotten mother of the gothic genre o The unexpected success of Little Women o The diaries of the 'first modern lesbian' o The lawsuit to protect Little Lord Fauntleroy o The personal account of a mastectomy in 1811 o Austen's struggles with writer's block o And much, much more! Why She Wrote highlights a significant moment from each writer's life and retells it through engaging and accessible comics, along with biographical text, bibliographies, and fun facts. For aspiring writers, literary enthusiasts, and the Janeite who has everything, this new collection highlights these incredible women's hardships, their influence, and the spark that called them to write. A punk-rock celebration of pizza in all its gooey glory. Dive deep into the world of cheese-loving, crust-craving, sauce-savouring punks with award-winning cartoonist Cole Pauls. In Pizza Punks, Pauls pushes the limits of pizza devotion by exploring just how far an extremely dedicated punk might go to attain the cheesiest of pies. Backpack pizza? Sure. Couch pizza? Absolutely. Even Mosh pizza isn't off-limits. Pineapple pizza, though? That's a little more controversial. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

The Gift opens on the snow-blanketed grounds of the Alexander Palace in Western Russia where a moth has come to attend the birth of the fourth Romanov princess, Anastasia. She and her siblings grow up in a gilded world, isolated from the society beyond the palace walls despite their dominion over it. After mysteriously receiving a camera on her fifteenth birthday, she begins to document her world, but the gift carries with it a weight she can't yet see. A creature moves on the edge of her vision and stalks her dreams. As the revolution unfolds, the confines of Anastasia's world keep closing in. Something is following her, and it might not be human.
