esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
by Ron English For a decade, painter Ron English has employed his children, Zephyr and Mars, as artist's models, resulting in over one hundred works of art exploring the wild, weird complexities of adulthood through the lens of youthful exuberance. Hilarious, discombobulating, and astonishing in color, tone, and breadth, Son of Pop charts the creative symbiosis of family and the artist's evolution, measured in output and offspring. Also included is a bonus mini-CD featuring four songs co-written by English, Brandon Jemeyson, Daniel Johnston, and Wesley Willis. (immagine) Categoria: Books: novel/sci fi/horror

by Ron English Ron English is widely considered to be one of the seminal figures in the ever-growing culture jamming movement. He has pirated over a thousand billboards over the last twenty years, replacing existing advertisements with his own hand-painted 'subvertisements.' Ron is also a well-known Pop painter, whose work has been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Paris and the Whitney Museum in New York. This is a comprehensive survey of his art, covering 20 years of his career, from staged photography to neo-surrealist oil paintings, from street art to culture jamming. An important look at the work of an artist who has been at the forefront of movements in photography, painting, activist art, and underground music. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Ron English puts a contemporary twist on the pre-code comic aesthetic with the secret history of MC Supersized, the man who would be Ronald McDonald? if he hadn't eaten the food. Also introducing MC's obese alien sidekick Francis, who came to serve man? but got served. The comic, featuring parodies of comic book advertising, wacky packs, and introducing the Kursed Kids, offers a second chance at corruption for the generation of post-code consumers who were not sufficiently damaged by the comics of their youth!
