esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit: The Search for the Lost Disney Cartoons is an in-depth look at the origins of the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio and their first major fully animated success in 1927 with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit series. The narrative explores the historical importance of this character within The Walt Disney Company and recounts, first, the rejection of the first Oswald short, 'Poor Papa,' followed by the overwhelmingly positive reception of second short, 'Trolley Troubles,' and the ultimate loss of Disney's rights to the character and the company's modern-day journey to reclaim Disney's films. This whimsical, deluxe Art Deco-themed art book showcases Walt Disney characters in a style reminiscent of caricatures from the famed walls of Sardi's and The Brown Derby. Disney Supervising Animator and Director Eric Goldberg drew a little more than 200 stylized images in a collection that first debuted as a display within the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California. Now with An Animator's Gallery, the show comes right to you. Fans of all ages, and from all over, can enjoy Eric's playful portraits, starting with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse through characters from Frozen and Big Hero 6. Bonus sections will even feature some of the most beloved characters from Pixar. (immagine) Categoria: Books: novel/sci fi/horror

In 1945, Walt Disney and Salvador Dali began working on a project together, intended to be a short animated film called Destino. Dali partnered with Disney Legend John Hench to storyboard the film, but production came to a halt because of financial difficulties. Over fifty years later, Walt's nephew Roy E. Disney decided to give it new life. This volume showcases all 150 pieces of art created by Dali and Hench. Also, the sole piece of animation art that was filmed in 1946 is showcased in a series of images explaining how it was digitally cut apart, restored and then reassembled for the 2003 completed film version. This limited edition features a high-definition screen inside the front cover and a touch of a button plays the entire Destino film. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was created in 1927 by Walt Disney and his team through twenty-six cartoon shorts. At the end of that initial run, Walt lost the contract to Oswald, which prompted the creation of Mickey Mouse. Over the years, Oswald became a footnote in the Disney story, until 2006 when The Walt Disney Company recovered rights to Walt's twenty-six shorts. For anyone interested in Disney origins, fascinated by early cinema, or entertained by a feisty little rabbit, this engaging and accessible volume delivers an in-depth look at Walt's first major animated success and the journey to reclaim the lost Disney films. This volume features updates on newly discovered film prints and a foreword by Disney CEO, Bob Iger. (immagine) Categoria: Books: novel/sci fi/horror
