esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
(W) Seth Grahame-Smith From the co-Author of Pride and Predjudice and Zombies! When Abraham Lincoln was nine, his mother died from an ailment called the 'milk sickness.' Only later did he learn that his mother's deadly affliction was actually the work of a local vampire, seeking to collect on Abe's father's debts. While Abraham Lincoln is widely lauded for reuniting the North with the South and abolishing slavery from our country, no one has ever understood his valiant fight for what it really was. Using Lincoln's personal journal as his guide and writing in the grand biographical style of David McCullough, Grahame-Smith has reconstructed the true life story of our greatest president for the first time--all while revealing the hidden history behind the Civil War, and uncovering the massive role vampires played in the birth, growth, and near-death of our nation. (W) Jennifer Armstrong This book will tell the behind-the-scenes story of how The Mickey Mouse Club paved the way for all that came after, from its humble beginnings as a marketing ploy, through its short but mesmerizing run, to the numerous resurrections that made it one of television's first true cult hits, all through the recollections of those regular kids-turned-stars who made it a phenomenon. Seth Grahame-Smith returns to his vampire/horror/history roots in The Last American Vampire, the follow-up to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Seth takes the sweeping, Howard Zinn approach to tell the alternative vampire history of 20th century America, as seen through the eyes of the vampire Henry Sturges, Abe's teacher. In Reconstruction-era America, Henry is searching for renewed purpose in the wake of his friend Abraham Lincoln's shocking death. Seth Grahame-Smith ingeniously weaves vampire history through Russia's October Revolution, the First and Second World Wars, and the JFK assassination. The final, elegiac act ends in 2001 with the vampire species in steep decline, and a world-weary Henry retreating from civilization. (immagine) Categoria: Books: novel/sci fi/horror
