esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
The complete newspaper strip from The Guardian, drawn by RIAN HUGHES (Yesterday's Tomorrows, Dan Dare, Raymond Chandler's 'Goldfish,' logo and graphic design for DC, Marvel). Celebrated designer and illustrator RIAN HUGHES first explored the possibilities of Adobe Illustrator's vector drawing tools in this stylish strip, forging a modern design-savvy approach that still tips the hat to classic UPA cartoons and the angular work of Gene Dietch. Bold, graphic and expressive, this collection brings together every strip for the very first time, including some unpublished rarities, in a neat hardback designed by Hughes in a pocket-sized format. 'Rian Hughes, the man who's done more for comic book design than anybody else, ever.' www.talkaboutcomics.com 'One of the most successful and prolific designer/illustrators of the past 20 years' - Roger Sabin, Eye magazine 'Try a death tango in the upper levels of the stratosphere with smoky Cyrillic logos wrapped around your fuselage and raw Letraset moire crackling away in the rearview and then maybe you'll earn my respect the way Rian Hughes earned my respect long ago.' - Grant Morrison PROOF, VOLUME 5: BLUE FAIRIES TP story ALEX GRECIAN art RILEY ROSSMO & CHRIS GRINE cover RILEY ROSSMO (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

story GRANT MORRISON, RAYMOND CHANDLER & TOM DeHAVEN with JOHN FREEMAN & CHRIS REYNOLDS art & cover RIAN HUGHES AN ECLECTIC AND STYLISH COLLECTION OF COMICS FROM RIAN HUGHES, RENOWNED ILLUSTRATOR AND GRAPHIC DESIGNER. Features infamous and hard-to-find collaborations with Eisner Award winner GRANT MORRISON: Dan Dare, a post-modern classic that sets the aging and retired iconic British character Dare against a modern British landscape he no longer understands; and Really and Truly, a high-octane psychedelic road-trip torn from the pages of cult comic 2000AD. Hughes' clean graphic style comes to the fore in duotone for The Science Service, written by JOHN FREEMAN, while Hughes explores an evocative noir palette replete with dramatic angular lighting for RAYMOND CHANDLER's Goldfish, adapted by It's Superman author TOM DeHAVEN. In addition to sketchbook pages, merchandise and rare strips-many never seen before or out of print for over a decade-the book features an introduction by comics guru PAUL GRAVETT, who published Hughes' very first strips in his seminal independent comics magazine Escape.
