Dark Horse is pleased to launch the Marvel Classic Character Series 2 line of Syroco-style statuettes. The second release in this series is Sub-Mariner, a.k.a. Prince Namor, who is often referred to as one of Marvel's very first mutants. Originally created by writer/artist Bill Everett, Sub-Mariner publicly debuted in 1939. Prince Namor is a character that is a mix of both hero and villain. This pose is loosely based off of the cover of Sub-Mariner #1 from May 1968. The forth release in this second series is the herald of mighty Galactus: Silver Surfer. One of the greatest moments in the 'Marvel Age' of comics was the introduction of Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four #48 in 1966. Created by Jack Kirby with an assist from writer/editor Stan Lee. The massively popular PlayStation 2 game Shining Wind, the latest in the 'Shining' series of over 18 games and an anime series, has spawned an entire series of stunning Kotobukiya Ani*Statues. The latest release is an all-new version of XECTY EIN IN MILITARY UNIFORM. One of Baelgard's four guardians, Xecty is an artificial life form created by Hiruda from Celestia's genetic material. While there have been other versions of the popular Xecty before, this is the first time she has appeared in her iconic military uniform! The powerful warrior is captured walking directly toward you with on hand on her hip and the other clutching her soul sword, Sword of Emperors Excelion. Xecty's uniform is recreated with painstaking attention to detail and features an intricate sculpt. The long dark green jacket is covered in subtle clothing details like stitching, folds, and hems. Different layers and straps add additional colors in white, gray, and black. Xecty's facial expression is serene as she looks slightly askance with her huge violet eyes.
