Through generations, there has always been a force of justice that agents of crime, chaos, and evil have contended with. Inspired by the fantastic sci-fi subgenre of steampunk, the Variant Play Arts KAI 'Timeless' series welcomes a new Batman to the fold. His Batsuit, with many design aspects inspired by turn of the century steam powered technology, offers a design that transcends time and space. Fine sculpting and paintwork, as well as careful consideration of the materials used, elevate the unique texture of steam-powered technology's functional beauty. For example, multiple gears and cogs can be seen through a transparent piece in the chest armor, and burnished bronze metallic color is used throughout. The technical machinery would not be out of place in an 1890s Batcave, and the gaslamp atmosphere evoked by the design is a perfect match for the Dark Knight. The sculpt design is based on the Blizzaia L model which appeared in Front Mission 4. The paintwork on this figure follows suit with the base body of the same unit in the series but retrofitted with Urban Camo parts. An impressive lineup of accessories includes a machine gun, shotgun, two rods, two anti-aircraft rockets, and two interchangeable wrist parts; there are also two head pieces: one from Front Mission and the other from Front Mission 4. Enjoy a wide range of customization just like in the game; you may swap the torso, arms and lower body with other Wanzers in this series, attach and remove the backpack, or switch between machine gun and shotgun. Utilizing the CG model from the original promotional materials as the foundation, our designers supplemented the sculptwork with additional molds and brushed up the overall quality. The attachment joints are standardized across the various Wanzer models, and so the torso, arms and the lower half of the body can be swapped with the other units in this series.
