esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

MIKE MIGNOLA’s fascination with ghosts and monsters began at an early age; reading Dracula at age twelve introduced him to Victorian literature and folklore, from which he has never recovered. Starting in 1982 as a bad inker for Marvel Comics, he swiftly evolved into a not-so-bad artist. By the late 1980s, he had begun to develop his own unique graphic style, with mainstream projects like Cosmic Odyssey and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. In 1994, he published the first Hellboy series through Dark Horse, leading to over two decades of comics spinoffs, prose books, animated films, and live-action films. He worked on Francis Ford Coppola’s film Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), Disney’sAtlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), and with director Guillermo del Toro on Blade II (2002), Hellboy (2004), and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008). A new film by Neil Marshall was released in 2019. Mike’s books have earned numerous awards and are published in a great many countries. He lives in New York with his wife, daughter, and cat.TOM SNIEGOSKI started out in the comic book industry and has worked for all the big guys . . . Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, Cartoon Books. Some of the characters Tom has written include Batman, The Punisher, Hellboy, Wolverine, Devil Dinosaur, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and he even wrote the prequel to Jeff Smith’s award winning series Bone, which was called Stupid, Stupid Rat Tails: The Adventures of Big Johnson Bone. His most recent comic book work (written with frequent partner, Christopher Golden) is The Sisterhood, published by Archaia Studios Press. This dynamic duo also worked on the mini-series Talent from Boom Studios, which - guess what, folks! - was optioned by Universal Pictures. He loves comics, but now Tom's primary focus is writing novels. He started with Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Monster Book with Christopher Golden and Steven Bissette, and then wrote his own novel based on the hit spin-off series Angel called Soul Trade. From then on, Tom has worked non-stop, both alone and with - you guessed it! - Christopher Golden. Some of the projects that the boys have worked on together include the YA novel Storm Warning, the Magic Zero series for the youngsters, and The Menagerie, a series of dark fantasy novels for the grown-ups. All by himself, Tom wrote a series called The Fallen, and these books were actually the basis for the ABC Family Channel mini-series by the same name. Check out the newest volume of The Fallen, Armageddon. His wife thinks his novel A Kiss Before the Apocalypse is the best book he's ever written. Apocalypse is the start to the Remy Chandler series. The latest volume in the line is A Deafening Silence in Heaven. He has also written two new middle grade series - Billy Hooten: Owlboy for Delacorte and The Brimstone Network for Aladdin. His wife hopes these will be optioned too. Also check out his stand-alone novel Legacy, which answers the age-old question: What if you found out your deadbeat father is a superhero? Tom is currently hard at work (ask him to tell you how hard) on some exciting books.CRAIG ROUSSEAU is an American comic book artist. During his career Rousseau has worked for various comic book companies, but is best known for his work on DC Comics titles like Harley Quinn, Batman Beyond and Impulse. He also worked for Disney Adventures (Kim Possible), Beckett (Ruule: Kiss and Tell, Ronin Hood of the 47 Samurai, The Cobbler’s Monster), Image Comics (Tellos: The Last Heist, Tales of Tellos, Invincible Handbook, Monster Pile-up) and Marvel Comics' Creative Services. He has additionally drawn, and co-created with Todd DeZago, The Perhapanauts for Dark Horse and Image Comics (Perhapanauts: First Blood and Perhapanauts: Second Chances). More recently, he has drawn Marvel's Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane.

Dan Slott has built a loyal fan base by combining old-school fun with stories and characterizations friendly to new readers. Following his run on She-Hulk, Slott moved into the upper echelon of Marvel writers, launching Avengers: The Initiative and taking the reins on Mighty Avengers from Brian Michael Bendis. When Marvel gave Spider-Man a fresh start in 2008, Slott was one of several rotating writers on the thrice-monthly Amazing Spider-Man. Slott became the writer most closely identified with the web-slinger’s “Brand New Day†era, and the title hit the “Big Time†when he took over as full-time writer for a decade-long run. Slott has also turned his talents to other iconic Marvel heroes — including soaring the spaceways with Silver Surfer; helming Tony Stark: Iron Man toward Iron Man 2020; and masterminding the glorious return of Fantastic Four, leading to his long-awaited “Reckoning War.†In 2022, Slott made his way back to the Spider-Verse, teaming with legendary penciler Mark Bagley on Spider-Man and introducing the sidekick sensation Spider-Boy. Fred Van Lente has been a comics fan as long as he can remember, initially hooked by his father’s copy of Jules Feiffer’s landmark anthology The Great Comic Book Heroes. Van Lente joined Syracuse University’s comic-book club and met artist Steve Ellis, with whom he created indie super-crime comic The Silencers. That work got noticed by Marvel, where Van Lente was soon hired and introduced a heroic new Scorpion in Amazing Fantasy. Since then, the versatile Van Lente’s many Marvel assignments have included three New York Times-best-selling entries in the Marvel Zombies series, as well as Amazing Spider-Man, Incredible Hercules, X-Men Noir, Iron Man Legacy, Chaos War, Herc and Alpha Flight.Christos Gage sold his first screenplay in 1997 and has been working steadily ever since; he started writing comics in 2004 with DC’s Deadshot miniseries, featuring the sharpshooting antihero from Suicide Squad. He then began co-writing Avengers: The Initiative with Dan Slott, which led to him becoming the sole writer on the book and its successor, Avengers Academy. His additional Marvel credits include Civil War: Casualties of War, House of M: Avengers, Iron Man, Union Jack and World War Hulk: X-Men, as well as a prominent run on X-Men: Legacy.Beginning his career in animation working on such films as The Iron Giant, Anastasia and Titan A.E., Rick Remender has become a comic-book triple threat — writing, penciling and inking numerous fan-favorite series. Remender served as writer on hit video games Dead Space and Bulletstorm, while providing art for punk/metal bands like NOFX and 3 Inches of Blood. He’s co-created many popular independent titles, including the critically acclaimed Fear Agent with longtime collaborators Tony Moore and Jerome Opeña. His time at Marvel started on Punisher, and has since led to well-received runs on Uncanny X-Force, Venom, Captain America and Uncanny Avengers. Remender made headlines by promoting Sam Wilson, the Falcon, to full-fledged shield-slinger in All-New Captain America.Award-winning British author Dan Abnett has been a New York Times best-seller seven times and won the Best Comic Writer award in 2003. Hungry Ghosts is cooked up by the best selling author and veteran chef, Anthony Bourdain (Kitchen Confidential, Emmy-Award winning TV star of Parts Unknown) and acclaimed novelist Joel Rose (Kill, Kill, Faster, Faster) back again from their New York Times #1 best seller, Get Jiro!. Featuring all-new original recipes prepared by Bourdain, plus a yellow ribbon bookmark , and a guide to the ghostly legendary spirits behind these horrifying tales. This horror anthology is sure to please--and scare! On a dark, haunted night, a Russian Oligarch dares a circle of international chefs to play the samurai game of 100 Candles--where each storyteller tells a terrifying tale of ghosts, demons and unspeakable beings--and prays to survive the challenge. Inspired by the Japanese Edo period game of Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai, Hungry Ghosts reimagines the classic stories of yokai, yorei, and obake, all tainted with the common thread of food.Including stellar artists Sebastian Cabrol, Vanesa Del Rey, Francesco Francavilla, Irene Koh, Leo Manco, Alberto Ponticelli, Paul Pope, and Mateus Santolouco as well as amazing color by Jose Villarrubia, a drop-dead cover by Paul Pope."A gorgeous, haunting, at times gruesome saga that draws from the Japanese mythologies yokai, yorei, and obake, and mixes terrifying suspense with fascinating culinary intrigue, Hungry Ghosts cements an underrated literary legacy of Bourdain. " Entertainment Weekly "The expanded version of Anthony Bourdain's Hungry Ghosts . . . reimagines the Japanese tradition of Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai with a particularly spooky twist, as a group of chefs tell a series of stories linked by the common themes of the supernatural and food, each illustrated by artists like Vanesa Del Rey, Francesco Francavilla and Paul Pope. Of course, like all good ghost stories, there's a twist in the tale." --The Hollywood Reporter[Bourdain's] "final graphic novel, Hungry Ghosts, melds food, competition, and -- of course -- spooky specters with the culture-hopping human interest that Bourdain made his calling card." -- SYFY "A series of gastronomic ghost stories that bring together ... [Bourdain's] love of food, Japanese culture and old-school horror comics, plus some new recipes... An all-star roster of illustrators, from alt-comics legend Paul Pope to "The Legend of Korra" artist Irene Koh, to bring each spooky tale to life." --New York Post"The book is a thing of beauty, but the stories are filled with images of death and destruction. Knives and axes feature prominently. Decapitation and amputation abound. Eating but also being eaten. These are horror stories with recipes." --The Independent UK"Structured as an old-fashioned Tales from the Crypt-style horror anthology, complete with a frame story and ghoulish host, the twist ... is that these offerings are all food-themed--and all variations on yarns from Kwaidan, Lafcadio Hearn's collection of traditional Japanese ghost lore. ..... Each piece is drawn by a different artist, including such comics luminaries as Vanesa Del Rey, Francesco Francavilla, and Paul Pope." -- Publishers Weekly"Delicious." -- Previews World"An off-beat and very interesting read .... The artwork on the series ... [is] top notch and fascinating--a perfect combination of collaborators brought the stories to life across cultures." -- Comicon
