esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Chris Warner is an American comic book writer, artist, and editor best known for his contributions to Dark Horse Comics. He is also known for his occasional work for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics.Kelly Sue DeConnick is the Eisner Award-nominated writer of Bitch Planet (Image), Pretty Deadly (Image), Captain Marvel (Marvel) and Osborn (Marvel) and got her start in the comics industry adapting Japanese and Korean comics into English. Five years and more than ten thousand pages of adaptation later, she transitioned to American comics with 30 Days of Night: Eben and Stella for Steve Niles and IDW. Work for Image, Boom, Oni, Humanoids, Dark Horse, DC, Vertigo and Marvel soon followed. Today DeConnick is best known for surprise hits like Carol Danvers's rebranding as Captain Marvel and the Eisner-nominated mythological western Pretty Deadly, the latter co-created with artist Emma Ríos. DeConnick's most recent venture, the sci-fi kidney-punch called Bitch Planet, co-created with Valentine De Landro, launched to rave reviews in December 2014. DeConnick lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, Matt Fraction, and their two children.Christopher Sebela is a two-time Eisner nominated writer of creator-owned comics such as Shanghai Red, Crowded, House Amok, High Crimes, We(l)come Back, Heartthrob, Dead Letters and properties like Captain Marvel, Fantastic Four, Aliens vs. Predator, Escape from New York, Kiss/Vampirella and other stuff. Sadly he has also become fairly well known as the experiencer and chronicler of a month spent living in a clown motel. The less said about this, the better.Amongst other things, he is a graphic designer, a smoker, queer, bearded, on brain medication, in deep want of an army of dogs and forever in search of caffeine. He was born in Chicago, lived in Kansas City and is currently residing in Portland, Oregon. He is not writing about himself in the third person, that would be weird. He's pretty sure he has you all totally fooled.Adam Hughes is an American comics artist and illustrator most commonly known for his stylized renderings of women; super heroines, damsels in distress, figures in fantasy. About the time Adam began making waves in art circles and his artwork really began to be noticed, the term "Good Girl Art" had been coined, and it best describes exactly what Adam does. He is considered by many to be one of a new generation of Good Girl artists inspired by Petty, Vargas and Elvgren. He is well known for his cover work on titles such as Wonder Woman and Catwoman.Phil Noto, a former Disney animator who worked on films including The Lion King and Pocahontas, started in comics with DC’s Birds of Prey and Jonah Hex, and DC/Wildstorm’s Danger Girl. For Marvel, he has worked on titles ranging from Black Widow to Uncanny X-Force, and he explored the Star Wars galaxy with Chewbacca and Poe Dameron. Also an accomplished painter, Noto has been exhibited in solo shows in New York, Los Angeles and Paris.

For the first time in English comes the critically acclaimed manga from John Tarachine, the author of Witch of Thistle Castle, that's perfect for fans of BL Metamorphosis and Hirayasumi! Umiko, a grandma, realizes that she has the same desire to make movies as university student Kai—and soon she enrolls in Kai’s film school!“It’s not the movies you like…you like watching the people watching the movies.”Just what are you going to do with the rest of your life? It’s the question you’ll always have to answer, no matter your age. Umiko Chino is a 65 year-old retired woman in mourning for her late husband. Remembering how they used to watch films together, Umiko goes to the movie theater for the first time in years, where she meets Kai, an attractive, ambiguous young man who studies filmmaking at a nearby art school. They would seem to have nothing in common, except for this—both of them sometimes like to look more at the way the audience reacts to a movie than the movie itself. Kai believes Umiko has the same deep desire he possesses to experience how people respond to something they made… and challenges her to stake the rest of her life discovering that thrill.Soon Umiko surprises herself by enrolling in the same film school as Kai. But sailing into this new sea, she’s suddenly inside the currents of her fellow students’ lives, a much younger generation that she struggles to understand, driven by their own passions and their own relationships. Who’s really experienced at life, and is it old age or observation that brings wisdom? And does what you’re looking for change when you look with your eyes instead of through a camera lens…?

Collecting the Milk and Cheese, Eltingville Club, and Dork by Eisner, Harvey, and Ignatz award-winning comics creator Evan Dorkin. Evan Dorkin is an American comics artist and writer. His most well-known works are the comic books Milk and Cheese and Dork. His comics often poke fun at fandom, even while making it clear that Dorkin is a fan himself. As well as his comics work, Dorkin has also written for animation, including (with his wife Sarah Dyer, also a comics writer/artist) Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. He also wrote and produced Bring me the Head of Boba Fett, an animated television pilot for Adult Swim called Welcome to Eltingville, based on his own characters. Dorkin and Dyer also wrote some episodes of the Superman animated series, particularly the episode "Live Wire," which introduced a new character of the same name. Additionally, the pair contributed to the script of the 2006 English-language version of the anime Shin Chan. After an initial six-episode order proved successful, more episodes were ordered, but Dorkin and Dyer are no longer working on the series. Dorkin has been the recipient of several Eisner Awards, including 2002's Best Writer/Artist: Humor.

The sequel to classic manga Gunsmith Cats! When mobster Goldie returns with amnesia, Rally is forced to help Goldie remember her past—for example, like that time Rally tried to kill her!Rally Vincent runs Gunsmith Cats—a gun shop in Illinois with her partner, demolitions expert and former call girl Minnie-May Hopkins. But Rally’s “real” job doesn’t pay the bills, her hobby does. And her hobby is bounty hunting, bringing the most wanted men and women in the Chicago area to justice—dressed in her sharp suit and tie, and driving her Shelby Cobra GT 500!In Gunsmith Cats Burst Omnibus vol. 2, an illegal road race exclusively for V8 freaks is underway. While big-money bets from the audience are flying fast and furious online, Rally’s behind the wheel of her new Mustang II King Cobra to keep a tail on Bean Bandit. Bean’s the favorite to win the race…but his obsessed nemesis Detective Percy is in the contest too. And Percy’s not what you’d call a clean cop—in fact he’s so dirty, he’s taking a 10% cut of the bets…plus he plans to throw the odds by having Bean wrecked by hired mercenaries armed with rocket-propelled grenades! Then it’s back to Rally’s side hustle of bounty hunting—but before she can collect on a Mafia informer who’s jumped bail, he’s downed by a sniper working for none other than Rally’s own arch-enemy, Iron Goldie. She’s been assumed deceased ever since Rally put a bullet in her head, but Goldie’s not out for revenge—because she doesn’t remember who shot her! There’s more than just old grudges at stake; Goldie’s also forgotten her valuable designer drug formula, and her henchman wants Rally’s help in getting his boss’s memory back. That might prove a little dangerous for Rally, but the Mob’s hostage might convince her to cooperate…The Gunsmith Cats Burst Omnibus is using the 2000s unflopped version of the manga, so that it reads in the original Japanese style, from right to left. For mature audiences. Collects chapters 22-50 of Burst, plus the final chapter “Faces of Chicago.”
