As a young creator at Marvel Comics, Joe Harris launched the cult-classic Spider-Man spinoff series, Slingers, and wrote myriad other titles including Bishop: The Last X-Man. It was named among the best books for young readers by the comics committee of the American Library Association. She collaborated with Mike Mignola and Dave Stewart to create the original character, Leonide The Vampyre, published by Dark Horse Comics, and with Skottie Young at Image Comics for an I Hate Fairyland short story. She is currently working on a new project for Bao.
