L’occultista e folklorista Nick “Mr. Night” Nighter è conosciuto sul web grazie al suo seguitissimo canale “Night Tales”, tramite il quale indaga le varie sfaccettature del mondo dell’occulto e del paranormale. Insieme al suo inseparabile assistente Bunny, Mr. Night è sempre pronto a rispondere alle chiamate di chiunque richieda il suo intervento per dipanare casi spaventosi e inquietanti. Da accanita web star quale è, l’obiettivo principale di Nick è quello di far raggiungere ai suoi video quante più views possibili, provando nel frattempo a risolvere i casi che gli vengono proposti di volta in volta. In questo primo volume di “Night Tales”, Mr. Night viene contattato dal reverendo di Forthvilllle, una cittadina gotica che conta pochissime anime. Dopo una serie di truculenti omicidi che stanno avvenendo ultimamente nel piccolo paese, il prete locale inizia a credere che si tratti di qualcosa di più che un serial killer, perché ogni vittima che viene rinvenuta presenta al lato del collo due piccoli fori, due buchi equidistanti che sembrano proprio essere le ferite lasciate da un morso… il morso di un vampiro. Che si nasconda una congrega di <> lì a Forthville? Mostri assetati di sangue che saziano la loro sete letteralmente bevendo i cittadini del luogo? In the present, Kara, appearing as a 16-year-old girl, lives in National City with her adoptive parents and attends high school. Although she does not physically appear to be older, Kara is actually older than her cousin and spent some time on Krypton before its destruction. As such, unlike Superman, she possesses memories of Kryptonian culture as well as Kal-El's parents. Seeking a way to neutralize the deadly effects of Kryptonite, Supergirl's attempt resulted in the creation of the so-called X-Kryptonite. Her pet cat Streaky was exposed to radiation from this variant and, thanks to this unique combination of X-Kryptonite, Streaky gained superpowers, including flight, super-strength, super-vision, super-speed, and enhanced intelligence.
