A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese Import! We are proud to announce an all-new series of Fine Art Statues from the Marvel Comics Presents Kotobukiya Collection, the X-Men Danger Room Sessions! Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra-high tech facility known as the Danger Room. Part of Professor Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters (or 'X-Mansion'), the subterranean Danger Room is equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each partipant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men movie. First up in this new series is the most popular mutant of them all, WOLVERINE! The classic mutant is in full berserker rage as he takes on everything the Danger Room can throw at him! With his wicked Adamantium claws unsheathed and a feral snarl on his face, Wolverine is more than a match for any training program. The fantastic sculpt on the vicious mutant highlights his powerful muscles and classic uniform, which is further brought to life in vivid blue and yellow. And the best part? Wolverine comes with two unique heads so you can display the X-Man exactly as you prefer him -- wearing his uniform cowl or bareheaded with his shaggy mane flying free. Sculpted by Erick Sosa, Wolverine stands approximately 9 inches tall on an amazing exclusive base. Every mutant in the Danger Room Sessions is mounted on a unique Danger Room holographic environment that glows with a built-in LED light in the base! A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Sister Princess is a long-running bishoujo series consisting of light novels, manga, video games, and anime. One of the most popular characters from that series is now the first in Kotobukiya's new series of bishoujo figures that celebrate the classic character types in Japanese manga and anime, the 'Legend Girls.' KAHO is the definition of the 'imouto-kei' or sister type, an archetype seen in many Japanese stories. Clumsy and cheerful, the pretty cheerleader is known for addressing her brother as 'Onii-chama.' Originally released as a garage kit in 2003, the legendary character is back and better than ever with coloring true to the anime series. Kaho wears her brightly colored school uniform, standing poised on the toes of her right foot. Blown by soft wind, the pretty girl's patterned skirt and brown silky hair flow naturally. The checkered skirt was the biggest hassle for painters of the garage kit, but no more! The detail work on Kaho is excellent, from her pretty face down to the laces on her tennis shoes and the intricate paint work on her skirt. 'Moe' lovers will especially appreciate the space between her body and school uniform. Standing 7 inches tall (in 1/7th scale), Kaho was sculpted by Hide and is constructed of high-quality pvc plastic. Scheduled to ship in February 2010. (immagine) Categoria: Toys and models

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! X-Force is the hottest mutant team right now in the Marvel Universe, with the current launch of Uncanny X-Force burning up the shelves everywhere. Teaming up the most vicious and morally flexible heroes, Wolverine leads the ultimate strike force willing to do anything, at any time to protect the world's mutant population. Kotobukiya is proud to present the first member of an all-new X-Force lineup of Fine Art Statues, X-23! Appearing first in the television series X-Men: Evolution in 2003, X-23 was later introduced to the Marvel Comics universe. She is no less than a female clone of Wolverine, created to be a deadly weapon and outfitted with adamantium-coated claws in her hands and feet! After discovering her true identity and joining the good guys, Laura has become a key member of X-Force. The deadly mutant is mission-ready, scouting out her target before a precision strike. Standing ever alert, X-23 wears her current X-Force uniform complete with skin-tight suit (that leaves her midriff bare), belt, bracelet, and intricately laced boots. Laura's trademark weapons, her claws, are unsheathed; two stand out from each hand while a solitary spur extends from her left foot. The ultra smooth adamantium blades stand out in stark contrast to the intricate sculpting and texture of her body, complete with musculature and clothing effects. The expert tracker comes with two heads so you can display her as you prefer: wearing her mask and a teeth-baring grin or sans mask and a more serene look on her face! Sculpted by Erick Sosa, X-23 stands approximately 11 inches tall (1/6 scale) perched atop a New York City building rooftop. Catch her now, because she is just the first a new X-Force series bringing your favorite mutants to life! Statue (immagine) Categoria: Toys and models

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Another member of the Japanese 'Shining' series of games, Shining Force Feather is a turn-based tactical role-playing game from Flight-Plan and Sega available exclusively on the Nintendo DS. The game features character designs by Japan's renowned illustrator Ito-Noizi (best known for his work on Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan No Shana). The first Shining Force Feather character brought to life is ALFIN UMBRIO, a curious young artificial life form. No one knows exactly why, but Alfin Umbrio is remarkably lively and curious for an artificial intelligence. Her inquisitive nature is captured perfectly in this new Ani*Statue. The pretty girl sits atop a rocky pillar base, reaching out to touch something that has caught her attention. Alfin wears a remarkably detailed dress with flowing lifelike 'fabric,' lots of frills, and a matching headband, shoes, and stockings. The black dress and accessories are decorated with purple highlights, and intricately sculpted purple roses adorn her chest, arms, and shoes. Alfin's long purple hair spreads out behind her in dynamic and natural movement, and her soft face really captures the character's sweet spirit. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Fighting alongside Wolverine in the X-Mansion's training center is the second member of the X-Men Danger Room Sessions, the mysterious and beautiful telepathic ninja mutant PSYLOCKE! Once a British woman with minor mutant powers, Elizabeth 'Betsy' Braddock's mind was transferred into the body of a ninja giving her additional martial arts prowess. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. The deadly warrior woman brings to life the classic style of Jim Lee's X-Men #1 (1991), faithfully recalling the exotic mutant's appearance and costume. Victorious on the field of battle, Psylocke stands triumphant upon her defeated foe, scanning for the next. She wields both katana and psyblade, the only weapons she needs to get the job done. Psylocke's pose shows off her powerful physique, encumbered little by a skin-tight outfit. Betsy's long, beautiful hair flows out over her shoulder as she turns her intense gaze toward whatever else the Danger Room decides to send her way... Sculpted by Erick Sosa, Psylocke stands approximately 12 inches tall (1/6th scale) atop an amazing exclusive base - the severed hand of a mutant-hunting Sentinel! Every mutant in the Danger Room Sessions series is mounted on a unique Danger Room holographic environment with translucent parts that glow with a built-in LED light in the base. From Koto. The amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series continues with its fourth member and one of the most powerful mutants in existence, Rogue! Born Anna Marie in Mississippi, the young girl's mutant powers first manifested during a kiss with her childhood boyfriend. Suddenly she found herself absorbing his life energy, and subsequently ran away, taking the nickname Rogue in the process. When touching a mutant, she absorbs powers in addition to memories and skills, making her incredibly powerful and incredibly dangerous. During her early career she battled the current Ms. Marvel and seemingly absorbed her flight and super strength permanently. She has been a steadfast member of various X-Men teams for years, and of course that means she's spent quite a bit of time in the Danger Room. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, 'X' teams have trained together in the ultra-high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. Based on a concept from the artistic pair of Manuel and Leo Silva, Rogue embodies both power and beauty. The spirited mutant is posed dynamically flying in the air, with one foot barely resting on the smashed face of her previous opponent. Meanwhile, Rogue wields a chunk of the Sentinel's brain as a weapon, preparing to hurl it into the next one to challenge her. The mutant hero's classic costume is beautifully recreated, with the bright green and yellow of the bodysuit standing out within her dark brown jacket. Always enthusiastic in the heat of battle, Rogue's face is perfectly sculpted to show off her fighting spirit! At nearly 12' tall, Rogue is perfectly in scale (1/6) with other Danger Room Sessions members Wolverine, Psylocke, and Sabretooth (sold separately). Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the X-Man is completed by her amazing Sentinel face base on top of a mechanical projector. Every mutant in the Danger Room Sessions series is mounted on a unique Danger Room holographic environment with translucent parts that glow with a built-in LED light in the base. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! A 'cool exec with a heart of steel,' Tony Stark is the invincible IRON MAN, fighting for justice as a modern day knight in high-tech armor. Created in 1963 by a group of comic book luminaries (including Stan Lee and Jack Kirby), Stark was a rich playboy whose capture during the Cold War led him to create the technologically advanced powered armor suit known as Iron Man. Best known for fighting enemies such as the Mandarin and Crimson Dynamo, Stark would over the years combat his own personal demons as well, making him a very nuanced and interesting character popular the world over. As a member of the Avengers Iron Man joined with other famous superheroes like Captain America and Thor to face even larger threats to humanity, the Earth, and even the universe! Tony Stark is battle ready as he stands in the classic Repulsor Ray-blasting Iron Man pose, both hands pointing toward an unseen enemy that's about to feel the power of his high tech weaponry! Stepping right out of the pages of Invincible Iron Man, the Iron Man armor is intricately sculpted to highlight every armor plate and technological detail, with a stunning paint scheme in the character's traditional red and gold. Based Salvador Larocca's artwork, the Avenger's construction was overseen by the artist himself to ensure its faithfulness to the comic series! A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! X-Force is the hottest mutant team right now in the Marvel Universe, with the current Uncanny X-Force series burning up the shelves everywhere. Teaming up the most vicious and morally flexible heroes, Wolverine leads the ultimate strike force willing to do anything, at any time to protect the world's mutant population. Fourth in a series of all-new X-Force Fine Art Statues is the high-flying carefree mutant turned killing machine ARCHANGEL! One of the original five X-Men (debuting back in 1963), Warren Worthington III was a rich boy with white feathered wings who came to be known as Angel. He worked alongside Cyclops, Beast, and the rest for years as X-Men before creating the team known as X-Factor. At that time the evil mastermind Apocalypse orchestrated an attack that resulted in the removal of Warren's organic wings, which the villain replaced with techno-organic wings based on celestial technology. Under the control of Apocalypse Warren became the soldier Death, though he later came to his senses and returned to the side of good. Forever altered by his experiences, the once happy go lucky Angel became the brooding Archangel, whose deadly bladed wings and fierce battle fury made him a perfect fit for the new X-Force! Archangel swoops into battle, touching down on the shattered landscape and ready to spring into flight at a moment's notice; the aerial mutant rests on his toes with muscles tensed for action as you can see through his skin-tight uniform. Warren is captured in an iconic comic book pose half-turned with arms extended forward and at his side, with his amazingly detailed metal wings (all four of them!) spread out behind him. Utilizing the stealth of X-Force, Archangel's uniform is black with silver effects that match the color of his techno-organic wings. The stark color scheme is broken up only by Warren's face (tinged blue by Apocalypse's meddling), red eyes, and blonde eyebrows. Archangel's wingtips tower nearly 18 inches high, and he's in perfect 1/6th scale with the other X-Force members X-23, Deadpool, and Warpath. Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the dark hero is mounted on a unique georama base depicting a smashed brick-covered column. Catch this incredible Archangel while you can! srp $249.99 Available in April Marvel, Marvel Universe, ARCHANGEL: TM & ? 2011 Marvel Entertainment, LLC and its subsidiaries. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! From the pages of the X-Men comes the powerful and gorgeous mutant ROGUE, the first in an exciting new series of Marvel Comics superheroines presented in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style. This original design has been specially created by the incomparable illustrator Shunya Yamashita. Fans should be familiar with Yamashita-sensei's style as Japan's leading Bishoujo artist, from his art books, video game work, as well as multiple figural collaborations with Kotobukiya. The sexy Rogue is dressed in her iconic green and yellow skin-tight X-Men costume, which highlights her voluptuous curves - as well as keeping her covered to avoid absorbing the powers and memories of others who come into contact with her skin. She stands atop a stylish, minimalist white base, one leg perched seductively to accent her shapely leg. The mutant's long hair floats behind her as she raises one hand to her beautiful Bishoujo-styled face. Masterfully sculpted by Koei Matsumoto, Rogue stands 7 3/5 inches tall (1/8 scale). A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series continues with its fifth member, the mighty steel-skinned mutant COLOSSUS! Born Piotr 'Peter' Rasputin, the mutant who would become an X-Man grew up on a struggling farm in the Soviet Union. His first comic book appearance took place in 1975's Giant-Size X-Men #1, when Professor Xavier visited the small farm to recruit Peter. At first denying his powers, the mutant revealed his true abilities when a runaway tractor threatened his sister. Transforming into a living steel form with vast strength and durability, Colossus would join the X-Men and serve with distinction, which of course meant lots of practice in the Danger Room. Inspired by Jim Lee's 1990's era X-Men, Colossus is a massive and unstoppable force. The massive mutant is posed triumphant on the field of battle, about to bring down his heavy fists to crush the last of his wrecked foes. With his powerful physique transformed into living metal, Colossus has a fantastic sculpt showing off each and every muscle wrapped in smooth, narrow bands. He wears his classic bright red and yellow costume that's decorated at the waist with a large red and black 'X' logo. Everywhere his 'skin' is exposed is bright metallic silver, except for his black hair, making Colossus very visually dynamic. But that's not all. You even have two cool options when it comes to displaying the X-Man as he comes with two interchangeable heads: the first is angry yet focused, while the second is a sheer mask of rage! Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the enormous Colossus stands over 15 inches tall! He's perfectly in scale (1/6th) with the other Danger Room Sessions members, and like them stands upon a unique Danger Room holographic environment with translucent parts that glow with a built-in LED light in the base. In Colossus' case it's the shattered remains of a torn up Sentinel robot! Statue (immagine) Categoria: Toys and models

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Next up in the amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series is the renowned Cajun thief and mutant hero GAMBIT! Born Remy Etienne LeBeau in New Orleans and kidnapped into the Thieves' Guild, Gambit had to grow up tough and clever. Of course, his mutant powers also helped; he is able to charge objects with bio-kinetic energy. Gambit keeps an array of items with him that he can use in battle, but his signature weapons are his staff and a seemingly endless supply of playing cards. Despite, or because of, his troubled past and occasional relapses, Remy is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe and an X-Man in good standing. Being a member of the team means that Gambit has seen his fair share of training exercises in the Danger Room. Always confident in the face of overwhelming odds, Gambit shows he's ready for action in the midst of a particularly harrowing training session. Garbed in his unique metallic blue, purple, and silver costume, the X-Man stands tall in a battle-ready stance with his signature brown overcoat whipping in the air behind him. Gambit carries his two favorite weapons with his bo staff in his right hand and a trio of playing cards fully energized (via a stunning translucent pink effect) in his left. The mutant hero's sculpt is top notch, bringing to life every element of his clothing and his athletic physique. Gambit's wild hair erupts from the top of his open-faced cowl, while his face captures the character's devil may care smile perfectly. Sculpted by Erick Sosa, the 'Ragin' Cajun' stands 11 inches tall, in perfect 1/6th scale with the other Danger Room Sessions members (Wolverine, Psylocke, and Colossus). Also like them, Gambit is poised on a unique Danger Room holographic environment base. The wily and cocky Cajun has never looked cooler, and is the perfect addition to the Danger Room Sessions lineup! (immagine) Categoria: Toys and models
