esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Suspicion, deception, and delusion blend together as New York Times bestselling cartoonist and multiple Eisner Award nominee Matt Kindt (BRZRKR, Dept. H) unleashes the next chapter of the mirage-shrouded masterpiece that The Beat calls “a great new start to an already great series.â€What could’ve been a love story for the ages is now just a distant memory . . . Both Detective Swon and Delphi are unraveling just how intertwined their lives have become, or rather, have been. With Mind Management pulling strings behind the scenes, even our investigators of the improbable aren’t quite sure where the lines between reality and fiction begin or end. Their memories? Their feelings? It could all be misconstrued, artificially created, or, worst of all, genuine. Seems like fate might’ve conspired to bring them together . . . but will the truth be what ends up wrenching them apart?

***The Lunar Exclusive Signed and Numbered Edition includes: A high quality exclusive print of the sketch for the regular edition cover Acetate Sleeve Signed and Numbered by Alex Ross! Alex Ross, the award-winning and bestselling creator of Marvels, Kingdom Come, and Fantastic Four: Full Circle, takes readers through the Marvel Universe—but all is not as it seems Marvel Dimensions is legendary artist Alex Ross’ second book in the Marvel Arts series, following the national bestselling, critically acclaimed, and award-winning Fantastic Four: Full Circle. The story opens with a sweeping tour through the classic origins of Marvel’s most iconic characters. Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine, and many others appear in dramatic, fully painted spreads that echo their earliest stories. A narrator describes each moment with confidence, guiding the reader through these touchstones of Marvel’s history. But as the story moves forward, the tone begins to shift. The voice behind the narration is not who the readers expect and carries a motive that slowly pushes the narrative somewhere darker and far more unpredictable. Once this change becomes clear, the book expands into something larger and more surprising. Storylines twist in on themselves, characters behave in unexpected ways, and events ripple across the Marvel Universe with growing tensions. Ross uses the structure of the book to create anticipation and pull the reader deeper into a mystery that keeps widening. Every new sequence reveals another layer, building toward a final act that reframes everything that came before it. A bonus 32-page comic book is included that is pivotal to the storyline. With Marvel Dimensions, Ross approaches the Marvel Universe from a new angle with new character invention that invites readers to question what they think and what they know. Marvel Dimensions may be the latest title in the Marvel Arts line . . . but it is only the beginning. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Gerry Conway wrote Daredevil, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and others. He was instrumental in Marvel’s 1970s horror boom with work on Man-Thing, Tomb of Dracula and Werewolf by Night. His years on Amazing Spider-Man yielded such historic highlights as the groundbreaking death of Gwen Stacy and the debut of the Punisher. He also wrote DC’s Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Legion of Super-Heroes. For TV, he has written and produced episodes of Diagnosis: Murder, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Huntress and Matlock. An award-winning writer since 1973, Marv Wolfman succeeded mentor Roy Thomas as Marvel’s editor in chief. Well-remembered for his Tomb of Dracula scripts, he also enjoyed runs on Dr. Strange, Fantastic Four and Nova, among other titles. New Teen Titans, his 1980s collaboration with George Pérez, became DC Comics’ biggest hit in years. Wolfman and Pérez literally rewrote DC history with Crisis on Infinite Earths. He subsequently penned episodes for such animated TV series as G.I. Joe, Transformers and others.Multiple Eisner Award-winner Frank Miller broke into the comics business during the late 1970s, landing a choice assignment on the series Daredevil. His work quickly made the title one of Marvel’s best-selling series, as well as establishing Miller as a fan-favorite superstar. During his tenure on Daredevil, he introduced the assassin Elektra, who became a major Marvel character in her own right. After completing his initial run, Miller returned to Daredevil as writer of the acclaimed “Born Again†run with artist David Mazzucchelli; he then collaborated with John Romita Jr. for the Daredevil: Man Without Fear limited series. Miller has also had monumental success with his work on other iconic characters. In 1986, he made a splash at DC with the wildly popular and hugely influential Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, which told the tale of an older Batman still fighting crime decades after his prime. The following year, Miller reteamed with David Mazzucchelli for Batman: Year One, putting a modern spin on Batman’s classic origin story. Miller writes All Star Batman & Robin with artist Jim Lee, continuing to put his distinctive mark on the Dark Knight. Miller has parlayed his talents as a comic-book creator to major success in Hollywood. In 2005, Miller collaborated with Robert Rodriquez to co-direct Sin City, a film that was widely praised by both fans and critics. Two years later, Miller’s 300 met with similar success, breaking multiple box-office records. Miller wrote and directed The Spirit, based on Will Eisner’s classic hero.Bill Mantlo began his Marvel career on Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, in which he introduced White Tiger, one of the industry’s earliest Hispanic super heroes. Eventually writing stories for almost every Marvel title, he did some of his most fondly remembered work on Incredible Hulk and Spectacular Spider-Man. He also created Rocket Raccoon, launched Cloak & Dagger in a pair of miniseries and guided Alpha Flight through some of its most harrowing ordeals. Mantlo excelled at integrating licensed properties into the Marvel Universe, as demonstrated by Micronauts and Rom, both of which he wrote from start to finish. At DC, he wrote the Invasion miniseries for one of the company’s biggest crossover events. As both writer and artist, Archie Goodwin (d. 1998) got his start in comic strips and cartoons before moving to Warren Publishing’s Vampirella — and from there to Marvel, where he eventually succeeded Gerry Conway as editor in chief. He has been credited with saving Marvel from financial ruin, with Roy Thomas, by securing adaptation rights to the legendary Star Wars franchise, perceiving its potential long before later merchandisers. He also wrote comic-book adaptations of Alien, Blade Runner and other hit films. He created both Marvel’s Graphic Novel line and its Epic Comics imprint — where, as editor, he occasionally appeared in caricature as alien, elf or other. He also edited early English translations of the Akira series and the works of Moebius. At DC Comics, he guided the destinies of Batman and Starman; one of his most memorable bodies of work was his collaboration with Walter Simonson on the “Manhunter†backup feature in Detective Comics, which won five Shazam Awards. In 1976, Ross Andru (1927-1993) made comic-book history by penciling the first large-scale intercompany crossover, Superman vs. the Amazing Spider-Man, having spent years illustrating both characters in various titles. He also made Marvel history in Marvel Feature, drawing the Defenders’ first appearance. At DC, he spent nine years collaborating with Bob Kanigher on Wonder Woman. With Marv Wolfman and Mike Esposito, he co-created Vigilante (Adrian Chase).Keith Pollard drew simultaneous runs on three of Marvel’s longest-running titles: Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and Thor, including Roy Thomas and Mark Gruenwald’s “Eternals Saga.†During the 1990s, he singlehandedly penciled hundreds of characters for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Master Edition.Multiple Eisner Award-winner Frank Miller broke into the comics business during the late 1970s, landing a choice assignment on the series Daredevil. His work quickly made the title one of Marvel’s best-selling series, as well as establishing Miller as a fan-favorite superstar. Miller wrote and directed The Spirit, based on Will Eisner’s classic hero.Frank Springer (1929-2009) provided artwork for multiple Dell Comics series before joining the Marvel Bullpen. He illustrated several stories for the black-and-white magazines of the 1970s, and then moved from title to title to pencil Avengers, Captain America, Spider-Woman and others. He later worked on Marvel tie-in properties Conan the Barbarian, G.I. Joe and Transformers. At DC, he co-created the Secret Six in House of Mystery, later returning to the concept in Action Comics Weekly. Springer also drew several comic strips, including Adventures of Hedley Kase, Rex Morgan MD, The Virtue of Hedley Kase and Marvel’s own Incredible Hulk.Al Milgrom, A.K.A. “Editori-Al,†is renowned as writer, editor, penciler and inker — and held most of those positions on Spectacular Spider-Man. He also contributed to SSM’s sibling Amazing Spider-Man. He penciled West Coast Avengers for four years and inked X-Factor for eight. His artwork has also appeared in Avengers, Captain America, Thor and most X-titles, including the classic Kitty Pryde and Wolverine. As editor, he oversaw Marvel’s Epic imprint and the sixty-issue run of Marvel Fanfare, where his satirical self-portraits made his face as recognizable as any super hero’s mask. At DC, he co-created Firestorm the Nuclear Man with Gerry Conway.Artist Greg LaRocque is best known for his DC Comics work on titles including Legion of Super-Heroes and Flash. At Marvel, he helped bring the long-running Marvel Team-Up to a close and launched the replacement series Web of Spider-Man. His other credits include Avengers and Power Man and Iron Fist.

Acclaimed author and screenwriter Benjamin Percy broke into comics in 2014 with a two-issue Batman story arc in Detective Comics. He is also known for his work on Nightwing, Green Arrow and Teen Titans for DC Comics, and James Bond: Black Box for Dynamite Entertainment. Percy wrote two seasons of Marvel’s Wolverine podcast series: Wolverine: The Long Night, which was listed as one of the top fifteen podcasts of the year by Apple and won the iHeart Radio Award for best scripted podcast in 2018, and Wolverine: The Lost Trail. In print, he was a key contributor to the X-Men’s Krakoan Era as writer of X-Force and Wolverine. Percy blazed a new trail for the Spirit of Vengeance with his deliciously dark revival of Ghost Rider and pitted some of Marvel’s greatest heroes against the iconic movie hunters, the Predators. After the mash-up concept Hellverine proved a smash hit in Percy’s Wolverine/Ghost Rider: Weapons of Vengeance crossover, the writer launched a Hellverine limited series followed by an ongoing series — with Wolverine’s son, Akihiro, assuming the mantle. And Percy was the ideal choice to unite the ultimate odd couple in the pages of Deadpool/Wolverine.Stephanie Phillips is an American comics writer whose work has appeared with a myriad of publishers. After earning a PhD in rhetoric and composition at the University of South Florida, she started writing for both Dark Horse and DC Comics before becoming a breakout star with her instant-classic run on DC’s Harley Quinn. Phillips continued her success with her widely acclaimed creator-owned series Grim, published by BOOM! Studios, solidifying her as one of the industry’s hottest writing talents. For Marvel, she has written acclaimed titles about iconic duos such as Rogue & Gambit and Black Widow & Hawkeye, as well as penning two smash-hit series in Spider-Gwen: The Ghost Spider and Phoenix.Brazilian artist Luke Ross has been drawing comics since the early ’90s, proving himself an able stylist of super-hero action on titles such as X-Man, Sensational Spider-Man, Green Lantern and JSA. Ross stepped in for Mike Perkins as foil to Steve Epting on writer Ed Brubaker’s Captain America and joined a rotation of Marvel’s top artists on the thrice-monthly Amazing Spider-Man. His other Marvel credits include Secret Avengers, Dark Tower: The Gunslinger — The Little Sisters of Eluria, Star Wars: Darth Maul and Star Wars: Thrawn.Brazilian artist Luke Ross has been drawing comics since the early ’90s, proving himself an able stylist of super-hero action on titles such as X-Man, Sensational Spider-Man, Green Lantern and JSA. MIKE MIGNOLA’s fascination with ghosts and monsters began at an early age; reading Dracula at age twelve introduced him to Victorian literature and folklore, from which he has never recovered. Starting in 1982 as a bad inker for Marvel Comics, he swiftly evolved into a not-so-bad artist. By the late 1980s, he had begun to develop his own unique graphic style, with mainstream projects like Cosmic Odyssey and Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. In 1994, he published the first Hellboy series through Dark Horse, leading to over two decades of comics spinoffs, prose books, animated films, and live-action films. He worked on Francis Ford Coppola’s film Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), Disney’sAtlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), and with director Guillermo del Toro on Blade II (2002), Hellboy (2004), and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008). A new film by Neil Marshall was released in 2019. Mike’s books have earned numerous awards and are published in a great many countries. He lives in New York with his wife, daughter, and cat.TOM SNIEGOSKI started out in the comic book industry and has worked for all the big guys . . . Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, Cartoon Books. Some of the characters Tom has written include Batman, The Punisher, Hellboy, Wolverine, Devil Dinosaur, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and he even wrote the prequel to Jeff Smith’s award winning series Bone, which was called Stupid, Stupid Rat Tails: The Adventures of Big Johnson Bone. His most recent comic book work (written with frequent partner, Christopher Golden) is The Sisterhood, published by Archaia Studios Press. This dynamic duo also worked on the mini-series Talent from Boom Studios, which - guess what, folks! - was optioned by Universal Pictures. He loves comics, but now Tom's primary focus is writing novels. He started with Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Monster Book with Christopher Golden and Steven Bissette, and then wrote his own novel based on the hit spin-off series Angel called Soul Trade. From then on, Tom has worked non-stop, both alone and with - you guessed it! - Christopher Golden. Some of the projects that the boys have worked on together include the YA novel Storm Warning, the Magic Zero series for the youngsters, and The Menagerie, a series of dark fantasy novels for the grown-ups. All by himself, Tom wrote a series called The Fallen, and these books were actually the basis for the ABC Family Channel mini-series by the same name. Check out the newest volume of The Fallen, Armageddon. His wife thinks his novel A Kiss Before the Apocalypse is the best book he's ever written. Apocalypse is the start to the Remy Chandler series. The latest volume in the line is A Deafening Silence in Heaven. He has also written two new middle grade series - Billy Hooten: Owlboy for Delacorte and The Brimstone Network for Aladdin. His wife hopes these will be optioned too. Also check out his stand-alone novel Legacy, which answers the age-old question: What if you found out your deadbeat father is a superhero? Tom is currently hard at work (ask him to tell you how hard) on some exciting books.CRAIG ROUSSEAU is an American comic book artist. Hal Jordan returns in the story that rebuilt a legend in this DC Compact Comics Edition. One of DC’s greatest heroes returns. After years away, test pilot Hal Jordan is given a second chance to reclaim his place as Green Lantern—the wielder of a powerful ring capable of creating anything he can imagine. But rebuilding his life, repairing damaged relationships, and earning the trust of fellow heroes may prove more difficult than mastering the power of the ring itself. Written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Ethan Van Sciver, Green Lantern: Rebirth reintroduces Hal Jordan and lays the foundation for one of DC’s most acclaimed modern superhero sagas. Combining cosmic adventure, mystery, action, and redemption, these stories transformed Green Lantern into one of the publisher’s flagship franchises. This collection also includes Green Lantern: No Fear, the opening arc of Johns’s ongoing series, as Hal returns to active duty and confronts new threats across Earth and beyond. Collects Green Lantern: Rebirth #1-6 and Green Lantern #1-6 (No Fear). (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels
