The debut release in a new series of goods and Kotobukiya's first ever sporting figure, the Fine Art Statue of AYRTON SENNA brings to life the legendary icon of Formula One Racing. A hero in his homeland of Brazil and Japan where he competed in some of his most famous races, Senna's career included 41 victories, 65 pole positions, and three world championships. His legacy of philanthropy rivals that of his racing: only after his death behind the wheel during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix was it discovered that he had donated millions of dollars from his personal fortune to children's charities. Appearing as he did before the 1993 Japan Grand Prix, Ayrton Senna charms the crowd as only he knew how, waving his hand and his racing helmet above his head. The legendary driver wears his red Nacional driving uniform, intricately detailed with every seam, crease, and sponsor patch. Sculpted by Hideaki Hirata, Senna's face features an amazingly realistic sculpt, and the Fine Art Statue has been officially approved by the Ayrton Senna Institute. Senna stands 13 1/2 inches tall atop a special base inscribed with a reproduction of his signature and a metal name plate of the 1993 race. Constructed of cold case porcelain and including a Certificate of Authenticity, this fantastic tribute is limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide, with part of the profits going to disadvantaged children through the Ayrton Senna Institute. A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! With its unparalleled knowledge and experience in the field of robot model kits, Kotobukiya is now embarking on its own original series, Frame Arms! These never-before-seen robots are based on a core concept: ever unit will have a basic robot skeleton, or 'Frame,' which is highly articulated and covered in universal 3mm attachment points. Incredible armor pieces and weapons will differentiate each robot, while all parts are fully interchangeable between all units. The Frame Arms multi assemble mechanical units are even compatible with Koto's M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) series of support units, opening up a huge amount of easy customization! In 2019, under the auspices of the international military alliance NAOTIA (North Atlantic Ocean Tactics Evolution Aggregate), the United States armed forces unveiled the 'Human Type Multi Purpose Standard Frame Drive,' a universal robot body that each allied country could develop with various external weapons and armor. The first robot in the Frame Arms series is the SA16-STYLET, an aerial attacker based on a combat plant motif with multiple small wings and a jet engine on its back. The Stylet is comprised of approximately 100 parts, with 30 points of articulation. The GOU-RAI is based on a 'battle tank' motif, with imposing heavy armor and tank treads. The frame features approximately 30 points of articulation, even with the added components.
