esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
by Dave Sim Before there was the blog and E-mail, there was good, old-fashioned snail mail ('by gum!'). While Volume One covered January through May 2004, this new volume covers the months of June and July. As series coordinator Claude Flowers said, 'A lot of letters in June and July!' Volume Two comes with a nifty wraparound photorealism comic strip by Dave Sim featuring himself, Chester Brown, and a completely irrelevant picture of three pretty teenaged girls. The first letter is to Gary Groth. You won't want to miss a moment of the action! (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

A-V is proud to present, at long last, Jaka's Story, the Remastered Edition, fully-restored page-by-page from the original art boards. To celebrate this event, this edition will be signed-and-numbered by writer/cartoonist Dave Sim (limited to the amount of copies of the initial Diamond order). Jaka's Story, the fifth volume of the Cerebus series, represents a point of departure for the series, focusing as it does on a small cast of characters, living out their lives in orbital, Thoreau-like 'quiet desperation', drawn ever inward, until at last, they inevitably collide. This new edition, painstakingly restored and printed on acid-free paper with a durable sewn binding, reveals astounding detail never before present outside of the original art itself. This volume also includes eight brand-new pages of extras, including a 6,000-word essay by restorer and critic Sean Michael Robinson, discussing the background and 'secret origins' of the book, providing historical context for a whole new generation of readers. The first new Cerebus comic since 2004! Where has Cerebus been since he died twelve years ago? Is he in hell? Purgatory? Limbo? Some strange 1980 disco with links to Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Henry Kissinger? Some ancient Greek disco with links to Plato, Socrates, Aristotle? Some 1990s disco with links to The Stone Roses, the Happy Mondays, and Oasis? Is he stuck inside his own Cerebus Online Disco Twitter-feed? Well, wherever he is, he deserves it, so feel free to laugh at his misfortune! This one shot leads into the Cerebus In Hell? 4-issue mini-series in 2017 celebrating Cerebus' 40th-anniversary! (W/A) Dave Sim, Various Dave Sim's Archives File Drawer #1 (1972-1979) provides the raw material for Cerebus Archive, the new light-hearted bi-monthly series from Cerebus creator Dave Sim, covering his career from 1972 to the present! It's a mortified (but tongue-in-cheek) look back by Dave Sim at the first prototype drawings of his earliest cartoon creations, The Beavers, along with his first professionally published comic-book story 'Cry of the White Wolf' (art by Stan Connerty), complete in this issue! In addition to Sim's commentary, you'll also find letters from Gene Day the year before he was accepted at Marvel Comics, a rejection letter from Gray Morrow, and a 1975 reproduction from the only comic book to feature - in one issue - the work of John Byrne, Gene Day, Frank Cirocco and Dave Sim. With six issues 'in the can' - and the creation of Cerebus as a cartoon mascot for a sword-and-sorcery/fantasy fanzine still a year away... Cerebus Archive might turn out to be Dave Sim's next 300-issue limited series! Available in two cover versions: 'Cry of the White Aardvark' or a Cerebus #1 Zombie Variant!
